If You Cant Spot The Snipers Hiding In These Pictures In Under 10 Minutes You Are Dead

Camouflage is nature’s way to protect itself. While many animals have an incredible ability to blend in their environment, humans too have learnt how to use nature to their benefit. Photographer Simon Menner has come up with a terrific photo series called ‘Camouflage’, where he has shot hidden snipers from up and close, but not close enough to be spotted.

Menner shot his pictures in Germany, in collaboration with the German army, and the pictures are of real German snipers. Can you spot the snipers hiding in the pictures, their guns pointing at you?

Some time back, we showed you this picture of a hiding snake that was extremely difficult to spot.

Most of the snipers in the pictures are hiding over 30-50 feet away from the camera.

Look as if your life depends on it. Can’t find it? Here it is:

Hint: Look for the hollow end of a gun barrel

Still no luck? This is your second chance at life. Here it is:

You are lucky if you are still alive. Here it is:

Thankfully, we live in the safety of our homes and cities. The soldiers posted at national borders don’t have the luxury of second chances.

Most of us may be living in peaceful times, but there is much terror and violence in the world, still. Talking to Wired, the Berlin-based photographer said, “I’m playing with this notion that you always have to be afraid of something that is not visible.”

The unknown, really, is scarier than what we can see, feel, touch.

H/t – Simon Menner
