108MP Camera

We've already seen what Xiaomi can do with a 48MP or a 64MP camera sensor. We've reviewed a lot of Xiaomi devices like the Redmi Note 9 Pro and they've been pretty awesome.Β

It's been a while since Xiaomi has launched a true-flagship phone in India under its Mi series.Β

The Mi 10 is going to fill that void with killer specs like Snapdragon 865 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, a display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a massive battery with beautiful glass design.Β

It'll also be able t run the latest MIUI 12 software soon if it's not pre-loaded out of the box.

5G Support

Yes, 5G is not going to be available in India anytime soon, but it doesn't hurt if your new phone supports 5G, thereby making it future-proof.Β

Considering the fact that these new flagship devices have powerful specs, and you'll be using them for at least 2-3 years, it's always good to know that your phone isn't going to become obsolete.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi 10 is coming to India on May 8 and it'll be unveiled via an online event due to the on-going COVID-19 lockdown in the country.Β

The phone has already launched in China and you can learn more about itΒ hereΒ .

This news about the Mi 10 India launch may come across as a damage control piece by the company for their web browser controversy from this morning. In case you're not aware of that, then you can read everything about itΒ hereΒ .Β

It's worth pointing out that Xiaomi has now pushed an update to their web browsers with an option to disable data collection from their end.
