The world of football has seen numerous players carving their own niche in the beautiful game. While some win coveted trophies and awards, others elate fans with their impeccable football skills. But, then there are those who serve as great characters in the sport and Zlatan Ibrahimovic belongs to the latter category.

The 39-year-old was one of the several major footballers who contracted the virus since the pandemic first broke across the globe. The AC Milan forward tested positive for COVID-19 in late September. The star footballer eventually fought off the virus and returned to the AC Milan lineup, guiding them to the top of Serie A table after five games this season.
Apart from Ibrahimovic, Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo, too, tested positive for the virus on multiple occasions. He was forced to miss a reunion with Lionel Messi recently during Barcelona's 2-0 win over Juventus.
