Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has conveyed his wishes for the holy month of Ramazan to Muslims in Pakistan and all over the world, a tweet by Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations said.

?COAS conveys 'Ramzan Mubarak' to people of Pakistan and Muslims across the globe. "May Allah continue His blessings upon us ? Amen," the tweet reads.

Ramazan will be observed in Pakistan from Sunday, after the Ruet-e-Hilal committee announced on Friday that Ramazan moon has not been sighted.

Saudi Arabia, along with other Gulf states, and several other countries observed the first day of Ramazan on Saturday.
