We can finally say that food will now be delivered straight to our fat asses by the magic of flying robots. A Texas-based company called ‘Drone Dispatch’ recently delivered a fresh batch of donuts via a drone! The drone was used to deliver these scrumptious donuts to fire departments, policemen and the Denver Mayor Michael Hancock. 

The Denver mayor excitingly said, “This is how we’re going to become a more efficient 21st century nation, quite frankly.”

The American Federal Aviation Administration has a very strict rule for a number of distance drones can travel hence drones can only be flown short distances. The operators of the drone were within the allowed distance of the recipients making it possible for the delivery to take place.

Unfortunately, the Indian DGCA has banned the operation on any drone in the Indian airspace which means that we won’t have our pizzas or donuts delivered by drones anytime soon. However, the idea of having food delivered by a drone is the kind of future we want to live in as it will not only hasten deliveries and such, but it will also open the possibility of having other goods be delivered in the same manner.
