Four army men have set a new record of climbing the Mt. Everest without oxygen cylinders. A team of 14 set to climb the Everest, out of which Kunchok Tenda, Kelshang Dorjee Bhutia, Kalden Panjur and Sonam Phuntsok successfully managed it without the help of oxygen cylinders. βWe had formed a team of 10 people with the aim to scale the Everest without using oxygen cylinder, and succeeded in sending four members to the top of the world without oxygen," Colonel Vishal Dubey, leader of the Snow Lion Everest Expedition 2017, told PTI in an interview.

More than 4,000 people have managed to scale the Everest, out of which around 187 have managed to do so without oxygen cylinders.
