‘Coolie Kohli’ Impresses Fans In Dad-Mode, Single-Handedly Carries Six Bags At The Airport

With the end of the five-match T20I series between India and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the two sides now move to Pune, to lock horns in a three-match One Day Internationals series to complete the three-format trifecta.

Ahead of the series, pictures of the captain of the Indian cricket team Virat Kohli traveling with his wife Anushka Sharma and baby Vamika emerged online in which the lady can be seen walking in the front with their girl in her hands while the skipper fulfills his daddy duties and carries all the luggage with him.

Since the couple has opened up about the media’s need to respect their choice to raise their child in the public eye, we will not be sharing the image of the child. So, here’s the cropped-out version of ‘Coolie Kohli’.

While carrying a small travel-pram in his left hand, Kohli was seen rolling down a trolley, with a smaller bag on top, two larger bags going across his chest and back, and another one hanging from his left shoulder.

After struggling to make runs in the first couple of T20I matches and coming off a stint of bad form in red-ball cricket, Virat Kohli was finally able to find his stroke in the latter half of the series in the shortest format of the game.

His innings in the fifth and final match at the Motera stadium became an instant classic when he promoted himself that the top of the Indian batting order to open with Rohit Sharma for the very first time in T20Is.

Kohli would go on to score an unbeaten 80 off 52 deliveries while guiding the total of a massive 224, allowing his bowlers enough runs to settle in, play their natural game, and dismiss the England batting order with comfort.

With the Men in Blue winning the series-decider by 36 runs, Kohli was honoured with the ‘Player of the Series’ award.

In the third and final part of England’s tour of India, the skipper will now look to play in the 50-over format of the game with the mindset of beating the top-ranked team in the world at home and take series-wins across the board in all formats of the game.
