ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday heard Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's disqualification petition.

The PTI chairman failed to both, appear before the ECP and submit the party funding record.

Commenting on the foreign funding case, ex-PTI member Akbar S. Babar said sacks full of cash were received during the PTI-led sit-ins in the capital's D-Chowk vicinity last year.

"The money was transported to Bani Gala," Babar said, referring to the PTI chief's residence. " People will forget all about the Panama Leaks case If a joint investigation team is formed to probe into PTI's funding."
