In 2017, where hook-ups are digital and the shelf-life of a public relationship is probably shorter than a subtweet—the romance between Indian cricket's poster boy, Virat Kohli and Bollywood hottie, Anushka Sharma is keeping our faith in love alive. Whether it's a special movie screening or a high-profile cricket clash, the two always seem to find time to cheer each other on. While Anushka doesn't shy away from lauding her love-interest on social media, Kohli, too, has been vocal about her acting skills in the past. The two lovebirds have been snapped together at various locations and their chemistry is nothing short of an on-screen pair, straight out of a Bollywood movie.

While speculations are rife that the two might very well tie the knot in future, Kohli's recent interview has given us an insight into what the Indian skipper really feels about the Bollywood A-lister. Voluntarily sharing a candid moment he had with Anushka, the 28-year-old revealed, "I was in Mohali and there was a test series going on. I was with Anushka then, she had come to visit me. Surprisingly, when I was made Test Captain, then also she was in Melbourne with me. That was a very special moment we shared together." 

“During the Mohali incident, they had spoken to me already. When I hung up the phone and told her, for me it was like a flashback. From the moment I started playing in my academy until the Mohali game. I was emotional, I was in tears because I had never thought that I will see this day. What was more beautiful was that I was able to share it with Anushka. It was something that I will always remember,” he added further.
