And Finally Theres A Food Festival For All The Weight Watchers Out There

We don’t generally consider food festivals to be synonymous with dieting, nutrition, healthy eating, or being fit. Food festivals are for bingers, foodies and those who don’t give a damn about watching their weight. To begin with that’s not entirely true. You can enjoy a food festival wholeheartedly while eating healthy and staying fit, all at the same time. Case in point is an upcoming food festival that’s going to take over the cities of Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, from Friday, 30th June 2017 to Sunday, 9th July 2017, between 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

The week-long food festival, which is being called the Light Lunch Festival, is being organized by Bira91 is specially-curated for all those who are watching their weight, remaining conscious and cautious about their calories’ intake and trying to stay healthy, minus all the junk. And if you thought what has beer got to do with calorie consciousness, anyway, think again! Bira91’s latest beer, the Bira Light is exactly what you need if you want to lose the excessive weight and stay fit. So, basically, you can attend this food festival, try out up to 200 interesting and scrumptious dishes and wash it down with a pint of beer, too! Whoever said you can’t do this the fun way, can go take a hike!

The mindful consumer will have ample choice between participating restaurants, with each restaurant curating a special menu for the Light Lunch Festival, with an array of salads, sliders, grills and more, order from over 200 dishes, prepared by 50 restaurants across the three cities. The menus will celebrate ingredients to satiate both vegetarian and non-vegetarian palates, giving you the perfect mix of sweet, spice and all things nice. Combining dishes that pair best with this delicious Lunchtime Lager, the festival aims to provide bags full of flavour and fun, without packing on the calories or getting a beer belly on the way!
