Indian Boxing sensation Vijender Singh challenged the Chinese boxer Zulpikar Maimaitiali for a double Asian title fight in February. Zulpikar, the Oriental Super Middleweight Champion, refused to sign the contract then but has again raised the challenge for the double bout. Talk about a sea change!

This battle will decide who the boxing king of Asia really is.  Now that the fight is back on, both champions will put their respective titles on stake, in a winner takes all clash. This showdown will take place in August in Mumbai. Both boxers are preparing to defend their title in the battlefield with sheer dedication. Just like boxers tend to do. It’s going to be a glorious fight!

In the Chinese corner there is the 22-year-old boxer has never lost a fight before. Out of the eight bouts that he has fought, 5 were straight knockout wins and one was a draw. So he’s a true challenge to Vijender’s throne. Check him out in action below.

In the Indian corner we have our 31-year-old boxing super star Vijender Singh, who has never failed to disappoint us with his tremendous skills in the ring. Back in December, he defended his title against Francis Cheka of Tanzania and knocked him out cold!

The date and the venue of the fight night will be announced as soon as WBO assents the title. This is the biggest dual title clash of all time the Asian subcontinent.  Hope our hero packs a punch.
