Going wayyyy back with this #tbt 💘 (swipe for more) I was only 20 years old and I could eat whatever I wanted and never had to exercise. I remember people would always ask me for diet tips and my workout regimen and the truth is I had to make stuff up because I still had the metabolism of a teenager. It wasn't until after I turned 21 that everything came to a screeching halt and I actually had to put in serious work and dedication to keep up my appearance. That's when I realized how fortunate I had been and how much I took it for granted. If I could go back in time I would have started healthy eating and exercise habits very early on. I began obsessing over food and felt extremely guilty if I didn't workout every day which negatively affected my mental health. I would pass on social gatherings with my friends if I knew I'd be tempted by the food or the alcohol. I would miss out on normal stuff a 21 year old is supposed to do all because I knew I couldn't afford to not look a certain way for a photoshoot. Knowing that if I didn't look "perfect" that the internet wouldn't hesitate to destroy my self-esteem. I began to feel like no matter what I did It would never be enough. That kind of pressure is part of the reason why I stopped modeling two years later. Stay tuned for more (I swear the video is coming. Please be patient with me🙏🏼)
