Abhay Agarwal is not even 16 years old and he has already cracked the country's toughest exam β IIT JEE. The 15-year-old has scored an All-India rank of 2467. If you haven't done the math yet, let us tell you that at that age, you and I were most probably taking our class X Board exams and hadn't even heard of differentiation and integration.Β

Besides being exceptionally brilliant and hard-working of course, Abhay skipped a few classes initially which is why he was able to take the IIT-JEE at the age of 15. He scored an impressive 87.2 % in his class 12 Board exams.Β
The boy has already gotten his documents verified at IIT Kanpur and has been offered a seat at IIT-BHU in mechanical engineering. Β "Since I jumped initial classes, I could complete my XII before other students. I have been lucky to crack JEE Advanced as well. I want to be in IIT-Roorkee and hope I will get it," TOI quoted him saying.Β
His father works as a pump attendant at Firozabad Nagar Nigam and, like any father, was ecstatic at his son's achievement.Β

The boy genius even has his career plans sorted. "I want to launch a start-up which would deal in products related to robotics. This is why I am opting for mechanical engineering," he said.
