Nushrratt Bharucha, who is basking in the success of her Amazon Prime Video film Chhorii, has several interesting projects in her kitty. After her latest release, Hurdang opposite Sunny Kaushal, the actress will be seen sharing screen space with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar in Ram Setu. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, it is among the most-anticipated movies of 2022 and also stars Jacqueline Fernandez.
    View this post on Instagram
For the unversed, Nushrratt rose to fame after playing the lead role opposite Kartik Aaryan in Luv Ranjan's Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The film was released in 2011 and turned out to be a sleeper hit. Before Pyaar Ka Punchnama, she had already featured in a few films but many people still think that she made her acting debut with Dibakar Banerjee's 2010 hit Love *** Aur Dhokha co-starring Rajkummar Rao.
However, did you know that her first Bollywood film was released four years before LSD? Yes, you read that right! In fact, her debut movie went unnoticed and was a box office flop. Well, we are talking about the 2006 release Jai Santoshi Maa. Directed by Ahmed Siddiqui, the movie marked Nushhratt's entry into the filmdom and starred Raqesh Bapat as the hero opposite her.
Watch a small clip from the film here:

The film's premise revolves around Mahima (Nushrratt) and Anuraag's (Raqesh) love story, and how she tries to win over his family through love and devotion towards Goddess Santoshi. For the actress' fans who haven't watched JaI Santoshi Maa yet, the film is available on the official YouTube channel of Shemaroo.
After Jai Santoshi Maa, Nushrratt also starred in Bhootnath director Vivek Sharma's Kal Kissne Dekha (2009), which marked the Bollywood debut of Jackky Bhagnani opposite Vaishali Desai. It also flopped at the box office.
After finally tasting success with LSD and Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Nushrratt went on to be a part of several films including Akaash Vani, Meeruthiya Gangsters, and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, however, her 2018 release, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, proved to be a turning point in her career. Since then, she has been continuously doing several big and interesting projects like Dream Girl, Chhalaang, and Ajeeb Daastaans.

Talking about her future projects, besides Ram Setu, her lineup includes Janhit Mein Jaari and Selfiee. She is also expected to reprise her role in Chhorii 2.

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has issued an apology for his “outburst” to the young fan whose phone he smashed to the ground following his side’s 1-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park.
Other than rendering his apology, the Portuguese legend has also invited the fan to watch United play at Old Trafford “as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship”.

After a disappointing performance on the road, Ronaldo was walking down the tunnel and this is when he lost his cool and smashed a young fan’s phone on the ground.
The visuals of the incident went viral in no time as fans from all over the world lashed out at the legendary footballer for his disgraceful behaviour.

After facing the online flak, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner posted a message on Instagram and apologised for failing to control his emotions and not setting the right example for all the youngsters who admire him and the beautiful game of football.
With this defeat at Everton, Manchester United have fallen way behind their competitors in the race for a top four finish and Ronaldo blamed the “difficult moments” for his emotional outburst.

“It's never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing. Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient and set the example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game,” the Portuguese striker wrote on Instagram.
“I would like to apologize for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship,” he added.

Ronaldo would have thought that his apology would make things better but instead it got worse as people lashed out at the former Juventus player and asked him to just buy the poor guy a new phone instead of doing all the drama of inviting him for a match.
I feel like I'm losing my mind here just buy the fan a new phone. You're Cristiano Ronaldo you can afford a top of the range phone. https://t.co/WLtqQAMEXA

    — Filan (@filan1902) April 9, 2022This is a bad look for Ronaldo. Would never see Messi do this. Just buy the guy a new phone. No need to punish him to watch Man U play at Old Trafford
    — x - Marco C (@MCerenz) April 9, 2022Following his apology, some fans have even come out in Ronaldo’s support and are urging the critics to cut him a slack.
Ronaldo is the one of the most admired athletes in the world and when you know that billions of people around the world are watching you, it’s your duty to set the right example through your actions but the Portuguese legend certainly failed to do that.

MS Dhoni’s love for football is no secret. It’s a well-known story that the Ranchi-born became a cricketer by chance after his teacher asked him to ditch the goalkeeping gloves for the wicket-keeping ones during his school days.
As they say we never forget our first love and the same is applicable to Dhoni as well. Even though he became one of the greatest cricketers of all-time, he always had a soft corner for football in his heart.
    © Reuters
Having retired from international cricket, the former Indian skipper loved playing football with his friends from Bollywood, including Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor among others. While some of these matches are for charity, others are hard-fought friendly contests.

Playing football has been part of Dhoni’s warm-up routine for a long time and it continues to this date. The former CSK skipper was seen kicking away the football in the build-up to their match against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2022.

While players like Dhoni love playing football before a game, it’s a nightmare for the team’s support staff because they are always worried about the unnecessary injury it can cause, ruling them out of the contest.
Speaking on Star Sports’ pre-match show, former India head coach Ravi Shastri shared one interesting story about how he had to yell at Dhoni on top of his voice to stop him from playing football before the Asia Cup final against Pakistan.
    © Reuters
Recalling the incident, the former all-rounder said when he saw Dhoni skid through on the grass that was full of dew just five minutes before the toss, his heart came in his mouth as he was worried about a last-minute injury which could force him out.

After Dhoni fell, Shastri said he got so worried that he yelled at him on top of his voice and asked him to stop the game. The 59-year-old admitted that he had never yelled like that on anyone in his life but he had to do it because of the team’s sake.
    © Reuters
“He loves it. And the intensity, you know, with which he plays, it scares you from the outside. You feel hope he doesn't get injured,” Shastri said during a pre-match show on the host broadcasters.

“I remember in Asia Cup final, there was dew and went skidding five minutes before toss. I have never yelled like that in my life. 'Stop the game!' I said something like that. You don't want to lose your main player in a game against Pakistan. But to get him out and leave the football that is impossible,” he added.
Looking at Dhoni still playing football before a cricket match, it doesn’t seem like Shastri’s shout had any impact.
