After Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif and Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar, Bollywood couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are rumoured to be tying the knot very soon.
As per reports, the lovebirds are expected to exchange wedding vows, later this week, between 14 and 17 April. However, an official announcement is still awaited from the couple's side.

While new information related to their big day comes out every day, Alia has finally reacted to the ongoing wedding buzz for the very first time.
Recently, YouTuber Nikunj Lotia, popularly known as BeYouNick, posted a Kabir Singh-inspired video on his Instagram account. In the clip, he has recreated a scene from Shahid Kapoor's 2019 hit and connected it to Alia-Ranbir's wedding in a hilarious way.
In the video, clothed in a white kurta-pyjama, the YouTuber can be seen desperately running after a car with the banner 'Alia weds Ranbir' inscribed on it. He also inserted a photo of him with Alia and replaced it with Ranbir's picture. In the caption, he wrote, "Me on 17th April".
    Watch the viral clip here:

Reacting to the funny clip, Alia commented, "Ded (laughing emoji)".

On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navmi, two young Indian cricketers Rishabh Pant and Anuj Rawat, currently plying their trade for different franchises in IPL 2022, shared their greetings on the micro-blogging site.
In their posts, both the cricketers wished their followers on the auspicious occasion and prayed to Lord Ram for their peace, prosperity, and well-being.
Wishing everyone the best on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. May Lord Ram, a symbol of sacrifice, bring you and your family joy, peace, and prosperity. Jai Shri Ram. #RamNavami
    — Rishabh Pant (@RishabhPant17) April 10, 2022
“Wishing everyone the best on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. May Lord Ram, a symbol of sacrifice, bring you and your family joy, peace, and prosperity. Jai Shri Ram. #RamNavami,” read Pant’s tweet.
Aap sabhi ko Ram Navami ki shubhkamnaye.
    — Anuj Rawat (@AnujRawat_1755) April 10, 2022
The RCB opener, who played a match-winning knock in their last match against Mumbai Indians, wrote a simple message in Hindi, which read: “Aap sabhi ko Ram Navami ki shubhkamnaye (Wishing you all a Happy Ram Navmi).”
These were simple greetings on a festival that is widely celebrated throughout the country as it marks the birth of the Hindu God Ram, but, still, some people were not happy with it.
A user seemed pretty pissed with their tweets and he attacked both the players and warned them not to “spread Hindu-Muslim hate”.

Reacting to Rawat’s post, he wrote: “Bhai cricket pe dhyan de, hindu muslim hate mat faila (bro, focus on cricket, don’t spread hindu-muslim hate).”

    © Twitter Rishabh Pant
Replying to the Delhi Capitals skipper’s post, he added a few more words but the crux of his message was the same. “Hindu muslim hate failana band kar. Tu cricketer hai cricket pe dhyan de. Ye sab politics mein mat aa (Stop spreading hindu-muslim hate. You are a cricketer, focus on cricket. Don’t get into politics).”

However, when the people started bashing him for his useless comments, he had no option but to delete his tweets.

    — Varun Kumar Rana (@VarunKrRana) April 10, 2022
But by the time he did that, people had already taken screenshots of his senseless replies and they went viral in no time.
Rais Pathan, who as per his Twitter bio is a member of the Central Waqf Council, shared the screenshot on his account and raised a very pertinent question.
How wishing people on your very own festival is Hindu-Muslim hate?

A new chapter in the school of Secular Liberal Fabric of Hindustan? pic.twitter.com/HlEGTECQ8H
    — Rais Pathan (@PathanRaisKhan) April 10, 2022
He asked: “How wishing people on your very own festival is Hindu-Muslim hate? A new chapter in the school of Secular Liberal Fabric of Hindustan?”
Both the cricketers, who practice Hinduism, sent out their polite greetings on the auspicious festival. Not a single word in their post was against any particular religion but a moron misconstrued attacked them for no reason at all.

Even a blind person could tell that it was this person who was spreading the hate between the two communities, not the cricketers.

It’s because of people like him that social media has turned into a toxic space and people are finding it hard to breathe.

“Just to make it simple, yes, I am single ”
“Just another unknown guy next door. Chatterbox in friendly surroundings. Otherwise, seen holding a mug of beer and speaking too less. If not your date, happy to be your wingman :)”
“Looking for a girl to persuade for marriage which seems close to impossible. Let me try and see.”
“6’1 / Surfer / Traveller / Simple and easy going / recently moved  P.S. Blame that guy if we start dating haha.”
What’s common in these 100% authentic bios I culled out from an online dating app? They all got right swipes from five of my friends.
Regardless of which online dating platform you choose—Bumble, Tinder, Hinge, OkCupid—you’ll need to create an impressive profile. Assuming you’d like to outshine a million others, I will go ahead and share some dos and don’ts that’ll help you create a left swipe-proof profile.
    1. Bet On A Short & Smart Bio
You skim through long articles, big numbers, difficult-to-pronounce names, don’t you? The person seeing your profile might do the same.
Witty one-liners with the right amount of self-description that makes you sound sincere and confident are often enough for a good online profile. Being yourself will pay off.
No one wants your description to sound overly smart. This gives the impression that you spend a lot of time writing bios for your profile. It’s not the most attractive trait, to be honest.
You want to appear funny, charismatic and real. Write something that you can come up with while walking home. Easy. Highlight your expertise—you don’t have to be an IITian, you can simply say that you’re a pro-memer, if that’s what you’re really good at.
Avoid SMS English—u, ur, luk, hawt. It’s not cool. It gives a childish impression.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3218__
    2. Mention What You Do
“CEO at Office”, “Designer at fashion”, “Professional at IT”, “None of your business”.
No. No, absolutely not. No one finds it impressive or funny. It’s not cool. You’re about to talk to a person. You want them to trust you. You don’t want them to think that you’re rude, unemployed or someone who is not willing to reveal his true identity.
Mentioning what you really do will help the other person find the common ground. It’ll help them trust you and take you seriously. If you still don’t want to write, leave the column blank. But steer clear from making up a job title that doesn’t exist.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3230__
    3. Choose The Right Variety Of PicturesBad choices include:
Pictures with an ex. The ones where your face isn’t clear.Edited selfies.Photoshopped clicks.Too many group photos.A good choice would be:

Two-three pictures where you’re properly visible.Your in-action shots that highlight your interest such as a pool game, meeting a band backstage, etc.Selfie with your pet.Basically, don’t confuse your potential matches. Women love to see a man's sense of focus and intensity. Let them see the real you so you can actually go ahead and date after matching instead of feeling too insecure to meet.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3231__
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3232__
    4. No Half Naked Pics With Your Six-Packs Showing
You’re a super fit dude—it’s a nice surprise a girl can discover later on. For now, you don’t want to seem too obsessed with your own body. You’re on the platform to connect with a person. A self-indulgent torso selfie will alienate you.
Even if you’re looking for something casual, gym shots aren’t a great choice.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__1697__
    5. Steer Clear Of The Negatives
Do not lead with what you don’t want.
“Don’t match me if you’re not going to reply,” “don’t waste my time if you’re not a talker, “no one shorter than 5ft 6in”, “fake profiles, stay away”.
You might have had bad experiences in the past, you’re frustrated and that’s understandable but please understand that’s not your new potential match’s fault.
Fake profiles, people who don’t reply quickly—it’s a demerit of online dating.
You don’t want to sound bitter. That’s not how you start a positive conversation. Again, you’ll end up alienating yourself. Stay positive. It’s an experience.
    __ECOMPRODUCT__3233__
    The Bottomline
Smile. Smiling in photos can increase your right swipes and using a picture that doesn’t show your face clearly reduces them.

After multiple delays, Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur-starrer Jersey was all set to lock horns with Yash's KGF 2 at the box office on April 14.
The team went all out to promote the sports drama again, however, in the latest turn of events, the film has been postponed once again.

Averting the box office clash with KGF 2, Jersey will now hit the theatres on April 22. Looks like the makers decided to postpone it after seeing the crazy advance bookings of the South biggie.
Producer Aman Gill, in an official statement, said, "As a team, we have put our blood sweat and tears into Jersey and would like our beloved film to reach all of you in the widest possible way. Jersey will now release on 22nd April".
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh too shared the news on Twitter and wrote, "BREAKING NEWS... #Jersey POSTPONED by one week... Will arrive in *cinemas* on 22 April 2022... The stakeholders arrived at the decision late last night".

As soon as the news came out, social media users trolled the makers stating that they postponed Jersey after seeing the excitement for KGF 2.
Reacting to the latest development, a social media user tweeted, "haha that's the power of #KGFChapter2. However remake film people won't even come to theatre. Good decision #shahidkapoor or else it would have been a disaster".
Another Twitter user wrote, "Ab KGF 2 ka hindi mai first day 50cr plus hoga".
A third tweet reads, "Ye toh hona he tha, they finally knew movie can't resist with This 2 MONSTERS - KGF2 and Beast.
Another user commented, "Got all the promotions by using #KGF2vsJersey and now they postponed. Audiences are not fools to pay their hard-earned money 200Rs to watch the movie that is already there on youtube for free. If the audience are paying 200Rs to watch a movie they want something new, not a remake".

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Ramiz Raja had proposed a four-nation tournament featuring India, Pakistan, England and Australia but the International Cricket Council (ICC), in its board meeting in Dubai on Sunday (April 10), rejected it unanimously.

The proposal was PCB's way of making up for an embarrassing 2021, where teams like England and New Zealand cancelled their respective tours of Pakistan.
The proposed quadrangular tournament, as per PCB's estimates, would have fetched around 650 million dollars for all the four members and the international cricket body.
Ramiz Raja tried to convince the board members but they decided to focus on bilateral commitment over a four-nation tournament.
#ICYMI: PCB chairman Ramiz Raja's concept of a four-nation tournament has been turned down by the ICC due to a packed FTP.@vijaymirror's report
    https://t.co/twyxqHCDxW
    — Cricbuzz (@cricbuzz) April 11, 2022 "He (Raja) spoke about at length but the majority felt it is important for boards to focus more on bilateral commitment. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) members felt that going ahead they will only have the Asia Cup as a multi-team event in Asia and did not back the four-nation tournament,” a member, who attended the ICC meet was quoted as saying by the Indian Express.

After the proposal was rejected by the ICC board members, fans came in numbers to troll the PCB chief on social media.
