Attention, Bollywood fans! The big wedding day is getting closer and closer with Bollywood's lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt set to tie the knot.

Now, having seen the grand Bollywood wedding of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif not so long ago, one can rest assured that it's going to be one of the most talked-about events in the near future.
After all, it is the Milan of the Kapoor and Bhatt Khaandaan, two of the most iconic families in the Bollywood industry, with so much history behind both of them.

Now, with such a big event just days away, here are a few important updates that you should know about the upcoming lavish wedding.

Alia and Ranbir, along with their guests are VVIPs and it's felt that they need complete protection from unforeseen forces.

This is why, according to reports, the wedding will be properly secured by trained personnel, with Mumbai's best security force - the 9/11 Agency being hired for the event.
Around 200 bouncers have been called for the wedding by the agency.
    2. Pre-Wedding Festivities To Be Held At RK Studios © Instagram/Alia Bhatt
Unlike the Vicky-Katrina event that was organized in the luxuries of Rajasthan, the main functions of the wedding will happen at the RK Studios and Ranbir Kapoor's Vastu residence in Bandra.

There have already been videos and pictures of RK Studios being lit up for the event.

All the pre-wedding festivities like Mehendi, Sangeet, and Cocktail will be organized at RK Studios.

Alia's brother Rahul Bhatt, while speaking to reporters said that they will be using drones as part of countermeasures. Roving Patrol Officers will also be attending each guest at the event.

We knew Vicky and Katrina's wedding too had some crazy procedures but this one surely takes the cake as well.

    Ah, this is interesting.

According to Rahul, there will also be a strict profile check for the security guards patrolling the event.
"They wanted that the personality of the guards should be good and that everyone looks impressive. They must be diplomatic, speak English, be polite and non-smokers," said Rahul.
    Fancy!

One of the most important elements of the wedding is its guests.

Well, while it was earlier reported that there will be around 40-45 people attending the ceremony, according to Rahul, the list is a lot less than the original number.
Rahul said that the guest list will consist of only members of the Kapoor and Bhatt families, with there also being reports of Brahmastra keymen Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerjee getting the invite.

Delhi Capitals defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 44 runs in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match at the Brabourne Stadium on Sunday (April 10).

While it was former KKR player Kuldeep Yadav who was the star of the show for Delhi, picking up four wickets in the match, a decision made by the team raised quite a lot of eyebrows.
Delhi Capitals, after being sent in to bat, were off to a flying start thanks to their openers David Warner and Prithvi Shaw but after the fall of the first wicket, their skipper Rishabh Pant walked out to bat.

Once Pant was dismissed, Delhi shuffled their batting order and sent Lalit Yadav, Rovman Powell, Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur ahead of Sarfaraz Khan, who played an impressive knock against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the previous game.
Sarfaraz was seen sitting in the dugout but mysteriously he was not sent in to bat by the Delhi management. The result of the match went in favour of Delhi and hence, not a big issue was made out of this tactical error.

However, fans took a dig at Delhi Capitals and lashed out at the team management led by Ricky Ponting, their head coach, for ill-treating a young batter.

    — Cheema_22 (@GurinderCheema1) April 10, 2022Talk about giving confidence to a player like Sarfaraz when players like Axar and Shardul are coming ahead of him to bat. What's the point of playing him?
    — Aditya (@Adityakrsaha) April 10, 2022So what are the likes of Agarkar and Amre there for if they can't have a word in for Sarfaraz? This is ridiculous.
    — Saurabh Malhotra (@MalhotraSaurabh) April 10, 2022What's the point of playing Sarfaraz if he's going to be batting at number 8?

Surely he's a better bat than Lalit, Axar & Thakur. This is just becoming a little ridiculous to understand now..
    — Gurkirat Singh Gill (@gurkiratsgill) April 10, 2022Sarfaraz had played at a better pace than his captain in the previous and unless he suffered an injury while sitting in the dugout, which is unlikely because he took the field when Delhi was fielding, it is baffling to see a batter not getting a chance to bat.
While the Delhi management has done wonders with Kuldeep by giving him the confidence and game time, they are ruining a potential match-winner in Sarfaraz who can take on the spinners in the middle overs and a decent bet against fast bowlers as well.

A few weeks ago, SS Rajamouli’s Telugu-language film RRR was released and broke several records pan-India.

While many celebrities from the Hindi film industry also watched and lauded the film, one of them put up a question that has crossed every movie fan’s mind at least once.
It was Salman Khan who wondered and asked why Hindi films don’t work as exceptionally in the South as their films work with the audience from the North.
    View this post on Instagram
The question was valid since South Indian films, be it RRR, Bahubali series or KGF: Chapter 1, have been loved by fans all across the country while Hindi films don’t mint as much money in the South as it does from the rest of the states.
    View this post on Instagram
KGF series actor Yash, who is all set to release a sequel to his film KGF: Chapter 2 this week, recently responded to Salman’s thoughts in an interview with Bollywood Life and we finally have an answer.
    View this post on Instagram
He said, “Our films also never used to get this kind of recipient, but what is happening from that part of the world, they have started playing dubbed versions here, people became familiar with the content of what we are creating.”
    View this post on Instagram
Yash added that South films were not given importance because of the kind of dubbing that was done but gradually people got familiar with the content, storytelling and direction over the years.
“What worked today is people got familiar with our way of storytelling, our cinema, so it has not happened overnight,” he said adding, “And then we got a straight instant connection with Baahubali, SS Rajamouli sir, Prabhas they took that initiative followed by KGF.”
    View this post on Instagram
About Salman making the honest and candid comment, Yash said, “We have watched a lot of films of Hindi stars, we all love them, but the market potential – have they lived up, penetrated it – definitely, there is a huge potential in what I feel and Salman sir is right in that aspect but it isn’t that we don’t watch, we have been watching them but the thing is maybe they should see other aspects also other than just releasing the film actors.”

    We couldn’t agree more.
KGF: Chapter 2 hits the screens on 14th April 2022 and is estimated to break even RRR’s BO collections.

Farhan has accused two senior CISF officials of passing racist and sexual comments at them at the Goa Airport. He has accused that one of them even tried to touch his wife, Ayesha Takia, and told her to stand in a different queue. While the other CISF officer directed sexual slurs at him.
Sharing the disturbing incident in detail along with the pictures of the officers, he tweeted, "Dear @CISFHQrs, I was boarding for Mumbai on @IndiGo6E 6386, 18:40 hrs flight and these racist officers R P Singh, A K Yadav, commander Rout and senior officer (SP category) Bahadur purposely singled me and my family (wife and son) immediately after they read out my name out loud to team".

Alia Bhatt’s journey in Bollywood has been a scale that has only gone up, with fewer misses and more hits. Call it nepotism or favouritism, the actress surely landed some projects by virtue of being in the famous Bhatt clan, but with strong performances in movies like Raazi and now Gangubai Kathiawadi, you can’t really blame filmmakers on wanting to work with her.

    View this post on Instagram
Usually known to be in the news for her work mostly, the RRR actress is currently all over social media as she is all set to marry her beau Ranbir Kapoor this week. As the much-loved couple is all ready to say ‘I do’ to each other, an old interview she once did with Vogue is doing the rounds. Usually known for shying away from personal questions, Alia was asked what is her favourite *** position, and she revealed that it was the ‘classic missionary’ as she is a very ‘simple’ person.  In the same interview, she had revealed that she preferred dating older men over very young men, and sticking to her thoughts, she is marrying Ranbir who is over 10 years older than her.

Alia comes across as a legit simple person who is deeply in love and probably enjoys quiet time with friends and family over partying and painting the town red. Hence, we aren’t really surprised with her choice of position.

From Ravichandran Ashwin’s tactical retired out to Marcus Stonis’ batting position, the Match 20 of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022)  between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) gave the fans plenty of things to talk about.
The entertainment was not limited to the field. Even the commentators were in a jovial mood during the match and we saw that during the hilarious banter inside the comm box between two renowned commentators.
Indian batting great Sunil Gavaskar poked his fellow commentator from England Alan Wilkins over the issue of the world-famous Kohinoor diamond which now sits on the throne of Queen Elizabeth 2.
Another instance that became a talking point on social networking sites was the voice of the TV umpire Paschim Pathak. The reason why people were confused was that Pathak sounded like legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar who has a very unique voice.
Why is Sachin Tendulkar doing third umpire's job today?? #PBKSvGT #IPL2022 @sachin_rt@WasimJaffer14 pic.twitter.com/jg9vMoyEKY

Whenever the on-field umpires went upstairs for his help, the fans started wondering what was Tendulkar, who is the mentor of Mumbai Indians, performing the duties of the third umpire.
Is that Sachin Tendulkar's voice during the run out referral?

A senior sports journalist also felt the same and he put out a tweet, which read: “Is that Sachin Tendulkar's voice during the runout referral?”
Soon many other fans who also felt the same flooded his post with their response. Almost everyone agreed that there was a striking similarity between Pathak and Tendulkar’s voices.
A fan even joked that Pathak would be flooded with offers if he decided to work as a voice-over artist for the ‘Master Blaster’.
His voice is indeed very similar to Sachin

    — Saurabh Desai (@sau_desai) April 10, 2022Yes it was too similar.. I thought god decided to take care of umpiring after Virat's dismissal
    — Prince Sachdeva (@SachPrince_20) April 11, 2022Pachim pathak was the 3rd umpire... He's also voice over artist of sachin tendulkar
    — Shivam Singh (@ShivamSingh2602) April 11, 2022This was not the first time Pathak had made headlines for reasons other than his umpiring. In 2015, he hogged attention when he turned up on the ground wearing a helmet.
A couple of years back, he had made headlines for his long and luscious locks that he sported during an IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and SunRisers Hyderabad in Abu Dhabi.

Pathak doesn’t have the same long hair anymore but he sure has found a way to dominate the news without even appearing on the field and that in itself is a hell of an achievement.
