As I am growing older, I’m realising that a lot of things that I initially paid zero attention to, like the clothes I wear or how I conduct myself when I’m stepping out, can have major implications. Little things from how I’ve styled my hair to how I address the waiter, can define me and leave a lasting impact.
And one such underrated thing is also your fragrance. I realised that a perfume isn’t just a fancy aroma you get to carry on your body, but it’s an extension to your personality, one that people start associating with your presence.
    © istock
Weak, worn-off scent can describe you as someone who doesn’t care enough or doesn’t have a strong personality. Whereas, a strong and breathtaking scent can fill the room up with your confidence and charisma. Which is why, choosing the right scent for you is as critical as choosing what to put on your back.

Here are 5 quick ways to choose your perfect signature fragrance and make yourself irresistible in a room full of people.
    1) Start With Prior Research__ECOMPRODUCT__3165__
Instead of diving straight into a pool of fragrances and getting overwhelmed by the choices and un-helpful salesperson, do yourself a favor and begin by doing some prior research before you leave your home.
Think about the kind of fragrances that you thoroughly enjoy. It could be anything from your morning coffee, to the smell of tobacco, fresh rain or even the soft and fresh aroma of beaches and sand. That is going to be the cue to the kind of perfume that will sit well on your personality.
    2) Sample The Scents__ECOMPRODUCT__3170__
Don’t rush into sampling the scents at a store and quickly jump to making a decision. Start with sampling the perfume on your skin and instead of relying on the whiff during the first 3 seconds of a spray, give it time. Let it sit on your skin, breathe and mix with your chemistry. After you’ve given it time to settle, then breathe it in and if need be, revisit the scent after a couple of hours/days.
    3) Understand Fragrance Families__ECOMPRODUCT__3168__
Every perfume, every scent belongs to a family. It could be fruity and citrus, woody and intense or even fresh and breezy. Understand which family of fragrance would compliment you in which setting. For instance, oriental and spicy scents would be a good pick for your winter nights, while aquatic notes are going to compliment you during the summer.
    4) Don’t Get Carried Away By Trends__ECOMPRODUCT__3171__
Instead of going and picking what others have been, or simply buying a fragrance because it’s trending, take your time to find a scent that sits well on you and not social media. Ultimately the purpose of a perfume is to reflect you and your personality, and so having the herd mentality here won’t work well in your favor.
Let your scent be individualistic and describe who you are.

When things don’t go your way, people start finding fault in everything. Whether the two are related or not, it doesn’t matter.
The same thing is happening with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the moment. The defending champions have witnessed their worst start to a season, losing three matches on the trot in IPL 2022.
    View this post on Instagram
In their opening encounter, they lost to last season’s runners-up Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Then they failed to defend a mammoth 210 runs in their second match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and now last night they lost to Punjab Kings (PBKS).
It’s hard to tell, it’s the same team that lifted the trophy last year after their worst campaign the year before. Their batting and bowling hasn’t clicked together and it has resulted in three consecutive defeats.
    View this post on Instagram
Watching the players put up a horrendous show game after game, a section of fans have already lost all hopes and have braced themselves for a finish similar to the 2020 edition where they had failed to qualify for the playoffs, finishing second from bottom, for the first time in the history.
Different people are pointing fingers at different reasons for their side’s poor performance. Some are blaming it on the unavailability of their premier pacer Deepak Chahar, while others are pointing fingers at the team’s auction strategy.

However, there is a section of supporters who strongly believe that the franchise is paying the price for letting go off their ‘lucky charm’ Suresh Raina. The 35-year-old southpaw was overlooked at IPL 2022 mega auction by the CSK management as they didn’t find him fitting into the team’s game plan going forward.

There was huge backlash at the time and the same fans are now lashing out at the management for shooting themselves in the foot.
    History repeating itself!!
    If there is no Raina
    There is no CSK left
    Without Chinna thala
Csk is always going to finish at bottom of the table
He was Lucky charm of Csk

    — आyush (@aayushandilya) April 3, 2022Raina to CSK - Thukra ke mera pyar apna janaja dekhegi pic.twitter.com/CTjc11sZO0
    — Vinay Kumar Shukla (@VinayShu1998) April 3, 2022The last time Raina was not part of the CSK squad in 2020, the franchise had finished second from bottom – their worst finish in IPL. Given their start, many supporters believe that unless something changes drastically in the coming weeks, the outfit is heading in the same direction and will endure the same fate.
For years, Raina was one of the pillars around which the CSK’s batting line-up revolved. He was their 400-run bank and he was a key contributor to their franchise’s success all these years. It’s not easy replacing a gun player like him and perhaps the CSK management must be realising that now.

You may know Virat Kohli as the former India captain and a prolific batter but did you know that he could sing as well? Businessman Harsh Goenka took to Twitter to share an old video of Kohli in which he can be seen with a mic in his hand singing an old Bollywood song.
Kohli is not the first one who had tried his hand at singing in front of an audience. Former India all-rounder Suresh Raina too has recorded a few songs which are available in public domain.

In the nearly two-minute long video, Kohli could be seen singing a Mohammed Rafi-Lata Mangeshkar hit 'Jo Wada Kiya Woh Nibhana Padega'.
The video was from a function organised by the Indian High Commission in Dhaka during when the Men in Blue were in Dhaka for the Asia Cup back in 2016.

After that tournament Kohli dominated world cricket, scoring runs for fun across formats. However, in the recent past his form has taken a dip and due to his lack of runs, trolls never miss a chance to have a go at the former India skipper.

He had stepped down as the captain of the franchise at the conclusion of last year's tournament to focus on his batting. He started the season well with a well made 41 against Punjab Kings but fell cheaply in the next game against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Kohli would be keen to make this IPL count as he looks to get back to his best, especially keeping in mind that he has to play a vital role later this year at the T20 World Cup in Australia.

Post the debacle of Ranveer Singh-starrer 83, Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur's Jersey was the first movie to get pushed ahead amid the Omicron scare last year. Since then, fans are eagerly waiting for its release and the film is finally hitting the theatres on April 14, during the Baisakhi weekend.

As Jersey is only a few days away from its release now, the makers have unveiled a new trailer.
    View this post on Instagram
As the film is slated to clash with two South biggies - KGF 2 and Beast, releasing a second trailer to create curiosity and buzz among moviegoers is indeed a good idea.
Taking to social media, Shahid shared the new Jersey trailer with fans and wrote, "Experience his many emotions! Meet Arjun on the 14th! (heart emoticon) #JerseyTrailer out now".
Take a look at his post below:

    — Shahid Kapoor (@shahidkapoor) April 4, 2022
The latest trailer focuses on Arjun Talwar (Shahid) and his relationship with his son. Shahid is shown striking sixes after sixes in a match while his friends and family keep reminding him that his chance is gone. Arjun's son becomes his ray of hope as he fights with his failure and the world.
"Tu bata kaake, khelu ke nahi khelu? (You tell me son, should I play or not?)," the protagonist asks his son. The innocent kid replies, "Khelo na Papa, dil khol ke khelo. Jab cricket khelte ho, ek dum hero lagte ho mujhe (Play na Papa, play with your whole heart. When you play cricket, you look like a hero to me)".
His son's words motivate Arjun to take up the bat and put on the jersey. The trailer shows his struggle, his return to the game, and what appears to be a successful conclusion. Overall, the film looks promising.
    Here's the YouTube link:

On social media, a major section of moviegoers has appreciated the second Jersey trailer along with Shahid's performance in it. However, others are still not happy with its box office clash with KGF 2 and Beast.
Reacting to the trailer, a social media user wrote, "I can't wait for 14th April! This trailer has increased my excitement. You're surely going to hit it out of the park!"
Another user tweeted, "Not interested bro. We waiting for #KGFChpater2".
A third tweet reads, "Felt The Pain and Emotions of Arjun Talwar. Ur eyes are explaining the feelings of Arjun talwar . Take a bow @shahidkapoor (clapping emojis)".

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja had become a butt of jokes on the internet last month for his remarks challenging the superiority of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The former Pakistan cricketer, who assumed office last year, had expressed his desire to take inspiration from the world’s biggest and most popular T20 league and revamp the current PSL model.
    © Twitter Ramiz Raja
The reason why he was heavily criticised by the Indian fans on social media was his unreasonable comparison between IPL and PSL. He had said that if the PSL also implemented the auction model, then many overseas players would ditch IPL for PSL.

“This is a game of money. When the cricket economy grows in Pakistan, our respect will rise. The main driver of that financial economy is the PSL. If we take the PSL to auction model, increase the purse, then I'll put it in the IPL bracket. And then we'll see who goes to play the IPL over the PSL,” he was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.
    © Twitter PCB
However, recently the PCB boss after being confronted on his remarks issued a clarification on his comments saying that “he was misquoted”, adding that he knew where the economies of both the countries stood.

Speaking to Cricbuzz, Raja said: “I know where the economy of India is and where is Pakistan's. We have plans to improve the PSL. We will bring in the auction model but I was misquoted on the other part.”
    © Twitter
Forget cricket, the IPL is one of the most expensive sports leagues in the world. If we take into account the broadcasting fee of per match, it is the fourth most expensive sports league in the world, only behind America’s NFL, MLB and the England’s Premier League.

Being the top cricket administrator in Pakistan, Raja should have known the numbers better. Even if the PSL adopted the auction, it would still be miles behind IPL. There is no comparison between the two leagues. This gap, which is already so huge, will further increase after the new broadcasting rights, which is expected to bring in a minimum of Rs 40-45,000 crore for the next five years.
    View this post on Instagram
This year, all 10 teams were allowed to spend Rs 90 crores each on player acquisition. This figure is expected to shoot up to Rs 100 crore in the next couple of years. Now if we look at PSL, their salary purse was around 10 percent of IPL.
All this clearly shows that when it comes to money IPL is in a league of its own and the moment Raja made those remarks it was evident that he would have to eat his own words sooner rather than later.

Since the start of IPL 2022, defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have looked a pale shadow of the franchise that won the tournament last year.
While there are several reasons for that, some fans strongly believe that the groundstaff has also played a major role in their franchise’s worst start of the season.
    View this post on Instagram
The defending champions lost to KKR by six wickets in their opening match. The Ravindra Jadeja-led side then lost to debutants Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by a similar margin in a high-scoring encounter. Never before had they lost their first two matches of a season.
The Chennai-based outfit suffered its third consecutive defeat of the season as they went down in a one-sided encounter, losing to Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 54 runs.
    View this post on Instagram
As the result suggests, the first two defeats came batting first but the third loss came while batting second. Now you’ll ask, what’s all this got to do with the groundsmen.
Well, the CSK supporters are miffed with the groundstaff because of what they did prior to their match against PBKS.
    View this post on Instagram
After their previous defeat against KL Rahul’s side, where they couldn’t defend a huge 210-run total, the CSK head coach Stephen Fleming had put the blame on the excessive dew for taking their spinners out of the contest. Many CSK supporters strongly believed that, if not for the dew, they would have easily beaten LSG.
CSK skipper Ravindra Jadeja won his first toss of the season and he decided to bowl. Given what they went through in their previous clash, his decision made total sense. They expected chasing would become a lot easier with dew, but to their disappointment, the dew had no impact on the match whatsoever.
Before the game, the groundstaff sprayed an anti-dew agent - Apsa 80 and it worked wonders.

Very minimal dew today and bowlers were able to grip the ball in the second innings. Big game changer.#IPL2022 #CSKvPBKS
    — Cricbuzz (@cricbuzz) April 3, 2022
It was later revealed that before the match, the groundstaff had sprayed an anti-dew agent called Apsa 80 to stop the dew from settling onto the grass. Guess what, it worked wonders and the PBKS bowlers had no difficulty in gripping the ball whatsoever in the second innings.
The CSK fans obviously didn’t like this and they expressed their frustration on the micro-blogging site. They questioned why this spray was not used during their previous match against LSG. Some even accused the BCCI of conspiring against the four-time winners.
Give us an LSG Vs CSK rematch then. Can't just randomly change things like this. #IPL2022 https://t.co/3Ish6OTk3Z
    — Arun Sreenivasan (@arunayyar28) April 3, 2022IPL management should have did this from the beginning of the tournament. Already some teams lost matches while bowling second due to more due. It is hard on CSK as they thought of bowling first because of dew. https://t.co/AqN4WmrGkA

    — Prashant Kumar Jha(प्रशांत मुस्कान) (@aham_pk_asmi) April 4, 2022Had to do it in this match only uh? https://t.co/prjhdNJS14
    — ANIRUDH_BS22 (@AnirudhBs22) April 4, 2022Where was that when we were literally playing in swimming pool in last game vs LSG https://t.co/XrEmvlhzHS
    — Billgates Billu (@BillgatesBillu) April 3, 2022No way, they have an agenda against us. It's all rigged. https://t.co/iy8lRN3pka
    — MehmeT (@CSKified) April 3, 2022It’s true that the dew played a role and made it extremely difficult for their bowlers to grip the ball but it wasn’t the only reason why the defending champions lost to LSG and PBKS. They failed to seal the crunch situation of the match and that’s why they ended up on the wrong side of the result.

As it was expected before the release, SS Rajamouli’s RRR has, in fact, turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema.
The film has already surpassed the lifetime business of the biggest Tamil blockbuster 2.0 directed by Shankar and starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.
Now, it is on course to go past Rs 1000 crore mark to become only the third Indian film in history after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion & Dangal.
    © DVV Entertainment
Amid the film's ongoing box office triumph, a journalist took to Twitter and compared a sequence featuring Ajay Devgn in the film to a sequence in John Abraham’s  2021 dud Satyameva Jayate 2.

He further added how the Ajay Devgn scene in the film shares an uncanny similarity to a flashback sequence in the Milap Zaveri directed critical and commercial failure.
The tweet read, “It is so uncanny that 20 mins post the interval point of #RRR and #SatyamevaJayate2 are so similar. Here the flashback has @ajaydevgn as the revolutionary who motivates his son for Kranti and there it was @TheJohnAbraham di the same. @MassZaveri @ssrajamouli - kaise hua?”
    © DVV Entertainment
Reacting to the comparison, Milap Zaveri mentioned that his film isn’t even 1 per cent of RRR, however, he did add that in his film too John was seen lifting a bike just like Jr NTR in the SS Rajamouli directorial.

He tweeted, “Sweet of you sir to compare but me or my film are not even 1% of @ssrajamouli sir and @RRRMovie
My hero also carried a bike and so did @tarak9999 sir but audience ne mujhe giraaya aur unhe sar pe bithaaya. Lots to learn from them. #RRR is LEGENDARY and #SMJ2 didn’t work”.
