Anyone who has watched Alia Bhatt in her latest film, Gangubai Kathiawadi, would agree that she exhibits unbelievable body language and expressions as the mafia queen Gangubai. From her accent to her walk, everything is on point and fits right.
© Bhansali Productions
She recently confessed in an interview that she worked really hard to bring in the swag that her character of a powerful brothel madame with underworld connections would naturally possess. She said that she realised it would need a lot of swag to play Gangu, while according to her, she walked a bit strange.
She said in an interaction with India Today, “When I watch my own paparazzi videos, I feel like I walk strangely, like a duck. I had to make it more interesting.”
© Instagram/Alia Bhatt
The confident walk that we ultimately see Alia acing in the film is actually inspired by South star Allu Arjun and his character in Pushpa: The Rise.
The film released in 2021, when Alia was shooting for Gangubai Kathiawadi and it was his easy and natural swag that made her add the missing factor to her character.
© Mythri Movie Makers
She said, “When I watched Pushpa. I was just taken in by Allu Arjun’s inherent swag. Swag has to be felt. It should be recognised as a talent.”
We totally agree! And, surprisingly, Alia Bhatt nailed the effortlessly confident walk and the swag that she displayed on the screen as Gangubai in the film is unmatched.
© Bhansali Productions
There is no comparison of South stars when it comes to swag and steeze (style with ease) and Allu Arjun is just one of them. The whole movie is about Pushpa’s swag and slick attitude which is not everyone’s cup of tea.

Good that Bollywood stars are learning from them too.

Ashish Nehra is enjoying his stint as the head coach of the Gujarat Titans, as the new franchise is unbeaten so far in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after playing two games.
Gujarat sits third on the points table with four points from two matches.
When Nehra was named as the head coach of the team despite the presence of World Cup-winning coach Gary Kirsten, it was considered a gamble by the franchise but not many can question the decision now.
In their debut game in the IPL, Gujarat Titans bested fellow debutants Lucknow Super Giants in a closely fought encounter and in their second match they outclassed Delhi Capitals.

— R P Singh रुद्र प्रताप सिंह (@rpsingh) April 2, 2022 An image from Gujarat's second IPL game featuring their head coach Ashish Nehra has been doing the rounds on social media in which he can be seen sitting on stairs discussing what seems to be team tactics with all-rounder Gurkeerat Singh.
Nehra is not a fan of technology and he has himself admitted that he is not on social media and for a long time (at least till 2016) he used to use a normal keypad phone.

— Darshannn (@D4Dramatic) April 3, 2022 Nehra was asked about the rivalry between Bangladesh and Indian fans on social media and that is when he came up with a gem of a reply that sent the whole room in splits.
"You are asking this question to the wrong person because I am somebody who is on social media. I am still using my old Nokia so I am not on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I don’t read newspapers,” Nehra had said.
Praising Nehra's humility and old-school thinking, fans took to Twitter to hail the former India fast-bowler.

— Nityesh Maheshwari (@mnityesh28) April 2, 2022 The success Nehra has managed to achieve with Gujarat Titans proves that even without relying on technology and getting too much into analysis one can deliver the goods.
Gujarat Titans look like the team to beat this season with all of their players stepping up and putting in handy performances in crunch situations.
After wins over Lucknow and Delhi, Gujarat will next take on Punjab Kings on April 8.

Alyssa Healy, Australia's wicketkeeper-batter, slammed an astounding 170 off just 138 deliveries in the Women's World Cup final against England on Sunday, setting a new record.
At the Hagley Oval in Christchurch, her knock helped Australia to a fantastic score of 356/5. Healy broke Adam Gilchrist's record of 149 for the highest score in an ODI World Cup final (men or women).

Healy also became only the second woman to score a century in the Women's World Cup final. Mitchell Starc, her husband who is always there for her important matches, and one of the most destructive fast bowlers in international cricket, was also present during the game and had a wonderful reaction as Healy achieved her century in just six deliveries.
Take a look at how Starc responded to Healy's 100th run of the game:

Starc also ensured that he would be present in New Zealand to support his wife for the remainder of Australia’s World Cup campaign. So, as soon as Australia won the Test series in Pakistan with a 1-0 margin, the pacer took the first flight out and landed in the land of the Kiwis to do just that.

Mitchell Starc, who took 27 wickets in the 2015 ODI World Cup, holds the record for most wickets taken in a single edition of the tournament, and Healy holds the record for most runs scored in a single Women's World Cup innings.
Healy finished the 2022 World Cup with 509 runs, becoming the first woman to reach the 500-run milestone in the tournament's history.
Alyssa Healy created history today by becoming the first ever to score 500 runs in a single edition of women's World Cup.
— Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) April 3, 2022
Healy hit 26 fours in a ferocious 138-ball performance in Christchurch, only four days after smashing 129 in the semi-final against West Indies. Before being stumped by Amy Jones off-seamer Anya Shrubsole, the batsman led 100-run partnerships with fellow opener Rachael Haynes (68) and number three Beth Mooney (62).
At 316 for two, Healy walked out to a standing ovation, having cemented her reputation as the ultimate big-game player, two years after striking a 39-ball 75 against India in the 2020 T20 World Cup final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

We’re all unique, I am often told. All 7.9 billion of us. Born with something special, something rare. And while that idea is good to romanticize on usual days, when we have to get down to actually segregating ourselves as individuals, it is easier to do that in 12 broad categories we like to call zodiac signs.
© iStock
Yes, we’re all different but in the world of cosmology, people are divided into 12 groups based on when they were born and the kind of personalities that they inhabit. From who you are to what you like, almost anything and everything can be pinned down to the last detail, making it the perfect guiding light.

And so, turning to your zodiac sign in moments of utter confusion, isn’t just helpful, it’s damn effective. Like when you have to choose a scent that suits you best and simply can’t decide which one fits perfectly with your personality.
Here is a quick look at the kind of perfume you should consider buying as per your zodiac sign:
AriesCompetitive, energetic and all full of fire.
People with ‘Aries’ as their zodiac signs are always looking for something that can match up to their energy and positivity like a strong oud with hints of spice!
__ECOMPRODUCT__3165__
GeminiOften remembered for their twin personality trait, the perfect scent for a Gemini would have to have hints of two stark elements fused into one that is hard to shake off!
LibraLibrans are big romantics and are constantly gravitating toward nature.
Pick a scent that has tones of fresh flowers, citrus and a spring touch to it, making it the absolute fragrance of someone in love.
CancerCancerians are emotional and intuitive. So, it is befitting that the scent that describes a Cancerian is one that exudes experimental notes of mystery and nature.
We’re looking at a tinge of spice mixed with a whole lotta surprise!
__ECOMPRODUCT__3164__
LeoWith a sign of a lion, Leos are the dominating and righteous ones in the zodiac list.
A fragrance best suited for them would be an oriental mix that smells of power, madness and freshness like that from nature.
VirgoVirgos are perfectionists and so, it only makes sense that they pick a scent that is the perfect mix and balance of fresh and wild. Floral and musky, vanilla yet dark.
PiscesPisceans are creatures of the water and anything that smells of the ocean, the sea and has a refreshing scent, will always be worn best by a Piscean.
__ECOMPRODUCT__3166__
ScorpioScorpions require a woody touch and a fragrance that doesn’t wear off that easily. Look for musky scents with dark and demystifying undertones that are often found in an oud.
SagittariusThese zodiac signs are a total mystery and rather explorative in nature. For them, anything from vanilla to fresh citrusy scents can work as long as they are as unique as their personalities.
__ECOMPRODUCT__3171__
CapricornAny scent that ignites an aquatic passion or an earthly desire, coming across as a kiss from nature itself, is something that will always sit well on a Capricorn.
Taurus Super stubborn, highly efficient and rather sensual beings, Taureans are best suited for a fragrance that is sexy, musky and can leave a long and lasting impression on anyone who passes them by.
__ECOMPRODUCT__3173__
Aquarius Fun, lively and eternally joyful, Aquarians deserve a fragrance that reflects just a similar kind of optimism and desire. Go for something that has a deep sense of enigma yet a playful touch attached to it.
