Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), one of the two new franchises, registered their maiden win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they chased down a 211-run target against defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK). LSG lost a thriller to fellow debutant Gujarat Titans in their campaign opener but came back strongly in the second game.
In both matches, one uncapped player that stood out for LSG was Delhi youngster Ayush Badoni.
The 22-year-old showed nerves of steel in the first match and saved the team the blushes when they were reeling at 29 for four. On debut, Badoni scored 54 off 41 to help Lucknow put up a competitive total on the board.

The young batter again walked out to bat in a tricky situation but played a pivotal knock of 19 off just nine deliveries to steer his side home against CSK.
Impressed with the youngster, LSG skipper KL Rahul even called him his side's baby AB (de Villiers). In an interview with the Times of India, Badoni revealed how he got this nickname from his captain.

"I was practising in the nets and I played a sweep to send the ball over the line. KL Rahul came to me and clapped and said - 'wow, superb stuff'. Then he asked me - 'who do you admire'. I said AB de Villiers. He said you just played like him. Since then, KL started calling me AB. Whenever he meets me, in the dressing room, on the field, during practice sessions, he calls me AB," Badoni was quoted as saying by the Times of India.
With Badoni getting the better of CSK, MS Dhoni fans did not like the youngster lavishing praise on the South African legend and hit back at the youngster saying, one can learn how to bat but cannot learn how to use your head.

    — Manavendra (@Manaven81284349) April 1, 2022The first time KL Rahul compared the youngster with ABD was after he marked his debut with a half-century. At the post-match presentation, the LSG captain lavished praise on Badoni's ability to hit the ball all over the park.
"He's baby AB. He has been phenomenal from the first day. For a little boy, he packs a punch and plays 360 degrees, so happy for him as he grabbed the opportunity. It was not ideal for him to walk out with us four down but he did well under pressure and hopefully he can continue doing that,” said the Lucknow skipper at the post-match presentation ceremony.

Rajasthan Royals batter Jos Buttler  became the first batter to score a century in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) as he smashed Mumbai Indians bowlers all over the park at the DY Patil stadium in Mumbai on Saturday (April 2).

Buttler smashed 11 boundaries and five maximums en route to his second three-digit score in the cash-rich league.
Thanks to Buttler's explosive knock of 100 off 68 deliveries, Rajasthan Royals managed to put up a big score of 193 for eight in their quota of 20 overs.

Buttler took a special liking to Basil Thampi in the powerplay as he deposited the uncapped India pacer for 26 runs in an over. The 31-year-old smoked three sixes and two boundaries to register the most runs in an over in this year's IPL so far.

Buttler's thrilling knock not only caught fans' attention but a few former cricketers like Aakash Chopra, Harbhajan Singh and others too took to Twitter to react as the England batter tore into the Mumbai Indians' bowling lineup.

    — Harbhajan Turbanator (@harbhajan_singh) April 2, 2022Jos Buttler’s skills to hit the white ball are simply unbelievable…creates angles, plays the field…and often doesn’t even bother about the fielders in the deep, for he deposits the ball 10 rows back. #IPL2022 #MIvRR

    — Ashutosh Srivastava (@kingashu1008) April 2, 2022 Buttler has always liked to take the attack to Mumbai Indians. His last five innings against Rohit Sharma's outfit read -- 100, 41, 70, 89, 94.
After reaching the milestone, Buttler was soon castled by a Jasprit Bumrah yorker in the penultimate over of the innings.
Performance of Jos Buttler in the last 5 innings against Mumbai Indians:

    100(68)
    41(32)
    70(44)
    89(43)
    94*(53)

Take a bow, Jos the Boss.

Rohit must be ruing his decision of inviting Rajasthan to bat after winning the toss on a track that offered very little to the bowlers. Although Mumbai managed to pick two wickets inside the first six overs, Buttler and Rajasthan skipper Sanju Samson's partnership of 82 runs took the game away from the five-time IPL champions.

Out of the last six IPL centuries hit by batters, four have come from Rajasthan Royals' team. Ben Stokes, Sanju Samson, Buttler (twice).

Hrithik Roshan is one of the few actors who will forever be fit and fine, regardless of his age.
He is going on 50 but can give 20-year-olds a run for their money when it comes to fitness and style, even with grey strands in his beard and of course, the salt and pepper look.

In his early years in the film industry, he mostly kept a clean-shaven look and short hair.
Except for his film Guzaarish where he played a magician, we have not seen him with long hair and a fuller beard.
Well, he has clearly broken out of the monotony and seems to have grown his locks for his upcoming movie Vikram Vedha.

When he shared his first look from the film, fans were amazed to see him in a messy and scruffy look. It was a still from the movie, which is a Hindi remake of the Tamil film of the same name.

The actor plays Vedha, a criminal while Saif Ali Khan plays a cop, Vikram.
See his first look from the movie here.

Hrithik has now dropped another look where he has debuted a half-ponytail and a lumberjack beard and we can’t help but notice how he can pull off literally any look.

He captioned the photo ‘Channeling the inner Vedha’. We agree, he looks a total badass in that look.

He has styled the rest of the look with a muscle tee, cargo style jeans and the coolest pair of sunglasses.

Fans are already going crazy over his look and can’t believe how he’s ageing like fine wine.
A user commented, “This man ageing like a good old wine.” Another wrote, “Man!!! One day, one day I want to have a physique like you!”. They also commented, “Sexiest villain ever in Bollywood” and “no one can beat this looks and attitude”.

Seems like long hair and ponytails are back in trend for men. First, SRK in Pathaan and now Hrithik as Vedha, we think it’s the bad boy hairstyle for the season.
