    Ace director SS Rajamouli, who earlier directed Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, is currently enjoying the appreciation coming his way for the latest release, RRR. After the historic success of the Baahubali series, the filmmaker has made a strong comeback as the Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer too is breaking several records at the box office.

    However, Rajamouli also has his share of controversies that stirred some uproar in the entertainment industry. Well, we're talking about his ugly spat with the late legendary actress Sridevi.  
    It is a well-known fact that Sridevi was the first choice for Sivagami's role in the Baahubali series. However, the Mr. India actress had rejected the offer and Ramya Krishnan was later signed by the makers to play the strong character.  
    View this post on InstagramLater, in response to the incident, Rajamouli made some unpleasant statements about Sridevi. He had cited her starry tantrums and financial expectations as reasons for her declining the role. Taking a dig, he even thanked her for rejecting the offer. Sridevi and her producer-hubby Boney Kapoor got upset when they learned of his statements.   
    Reacting to Rajamouli's comment, Sridevi slammed him in an interview with DNA and said, "First of all, I can’t believe he (Rajamouli) would talk like that. Secondly, I am not the kind to make any kind of demands. Whatever happened with Baahubali is in the past. Why are we talking about it now? There are so many roles that I’ve turned down in the past. I think it’s highly impolite to talk about the films you don’t do".

    Later, Rajamouli acknowledged his mistake and stated that he should not have spoken about her in that manner. Back then, the director cleared that people came up with their own interpretations of what he said and added that he has a lot of respect for the iconic actress. 

    He said, "As for whose version to believe, I guess it is for people to decide. But one thing is for sure. I shouldn’t have discussed the details on a public platform. That’s a mistake. And I regret it".

    Later, Sridevi and Rajamouli patched up and there were speculations that the actress will team up with the director for a film, also starring Mohanlal. However, nothing like that happened. 
    For the unversed, Sridevi passed away in 2018 due to accidental drowning in Dubai. She is survived by her husband Boney Kapoor and daughters - Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.

    Who doesn’t love compliments? Not a single person on this planet could honestly say that they don’t like compliments, even if they’d like to pretend otherwise. Well-received praise has the ability to turn a seemingly ordinary day into one of the best days of our lives.

    Things can get really sweaty (and smelly) in the gym. While sweating is normal and natural, no one wants to be that guy who is responsible for stinking up the whole place. 
    However, while doing a hardcore workout, can you really control how you smell?
    The answer is hell, yes! 
    All you have to do is take care of a few things that you didn't know were the culprits and needed to be kept in check. Whether you are a gym-goer who sweat excessively or mildly, these are some ways to make your workout sessions completely stink-proof.
    Here are some ways you can smell great before, during and even after a super sweaty gym workout:
    1. Shower Before Your WorkoutIt is obvious you are going to sweat like a marathon runner once you start your workout. However, make sure you don’t go in with sweat from last night.  
    Showering before a workout also helps in making you more active and energised, ergo a better workout.  
    2. Spritz A Nice Perfume  Wearing a cool, nice spritz of scent as you workout can not only make you feel fresh but also leave a trail of fragrance wherever you go instead of a sweat stink. 
    A perfume works better than deodorant in this area as it doesn’t evaporate and stays longer. Carry this one with citrus and aquatic notes in your gym bag.

    3. Wear Breathable ClothesYour gym clothes should be loose, breezy and apt for workouts. Good sportswear and shoes can absorb sweat and curb the body odour problem to a large extent. 
    Invest in some good sportswear that controls the sweat and is easy to work out in, instead of fitted or fancy T-shirts. Also, wear washed clothes.
    4. Keep Smelly Shoes In Check If it’s not your BO, it could be your shoes that are coming in the way of you smelling good. Sweaty feet are normal but you need to take care of your shoes once you are done without a workout.  
    Wash and dry them in sunlight twice a week to get rid of foul smells and bacteria. 
    5. Wipe That Sweat Right Away Clean off sweaty armpits, neck and arms with a wet towel, tissue or wet wipes that you can carry with you in your gym bag and let it dry off. 
    This will not only make you feel better and cooler but it will also help with the smell. 
    6. Hit The Gym Shower If your gym has a shower (clean and hygienic), why wait till you go home and bathe?  
    You can transfer the sweat and grime from the workout to your car seat, bedsheet and sofa if you don’t bathe right away and carry the same dirt with you the next day. Make sure you take a shower right after your workout.

    The life of a particular fragrance depends on the concentration used and it can vary from 2 to 10 years. Storing it well makes the life longer while heat, and moisture can make it go off earlier. 
    5. Fragrances Smell The Same On EveryoneNot true! The fragrance payoff depends on body odour, natural oils and bacteria on the skin, sweat and many more things that come into play. Thus, every perfume smells different on different people.  
    6. Only Strong Perfumes Are Good While strong perfumes have a higher fragrance concentration and would have a powerful and unmissable smell, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

    It’s been almost a week since Hollywood star Will Smith slapped Chris Rock after the latter made a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, at the 94th Academy Awards. 

    View this post on InstagramThe debate about his action being right or wrong was still going strong on social media, following which the Academy called in for a meeting to decide on the appropriate action against Smith for violating the standards of conduct. 
    However, two days after the meeting, Smith announced his resignation from the Academy saying that he betrayed its trust. 
    He had publicly apologised to Chris Rock on his Instagram account after he smacked and swore at him during a live broadcasting. Rock refused to file charges for assault.

    In his resignation statement, Smith said, “I betrayed the trust of the Academy. I deprived other nominees and winners of their opportunity to celebrate and be celebrated for their extraordinary work. I am heartbroken.”

    “So, I am resigning from membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and will accept any further consequences the Board deems appropriate,” he added. He had won his first Oscar for his role in King Richard.

    The proposal by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which includes India as a participating team alongside Australia, England and of course, Pakistan, will be formally tabled at the ICC Board meeting in Dubai next week.

    According to the PCB's estimations, the planned quadrangular T20I event could generate up to USD 650 million in income for the four countries as well as the ICC. 
    The plan, which would see Pakistan, India, England, and Australia compete in an annual single-league T20 tournament, will be formally tabled at the ICC Board meeting in Dubai next week.

    The PCB has set a date in September-October for the event, which officials say is excellent because it marks the start of the season in Australia, India, and Pakistan, as well as near the end of the English season. 
    Currently, the concept is for a single-league structure with six league games played over two weekends, with either a one-off or best-of-three finals. The tournament's hosting rights are expected to be rotated, and the ICC will have complete authority over the event. 
    PCB is ready to propose quadrilateral T20 tournament which is expected to bring as much as $650Million revenue for four participants ie Pakistan Australia India England as well as ICC. Meanwhile 650M USD equals to roughly 119 Billion rupees in pakistani currency! (Espncric)

    The study estimates that such a tournament might generate USD 650 million in broadcast and commercial rights, with the proceeds split between the four teams and other ICC members. It is unclear how the revenue will be distributed, however it is expected that a considerable percentage will go to non-participating Full and Associate members. 
    Ramiz Raja, the PCB chairman, has talked about the idea a lot since he took over last year, but there hasn't been much clarity about it until recently. 
    Ramiz will introduce it formally in Dubai next week with board CEO Faisal Hasnain. The gathering is significant because it will provide members with the opportunity to help create the upcoming Future Tours Programme (FTP).

    Because political relations between the two countries are at an all-time low, India and Pakistan have not played a bilateral series since 2012-13. Relations between the two cricket boards are also not particularly good; the teams only play each other during ICC events.

    Exploring new ideas to bring financial stability is absolutely fine and essential for the survival of an organization. However, to market and promote it as a symbol of peace, love and harmony is where the double standards are set it.

    Make no mistake, Raja and the PCB have the most to gain (and most to lose) depending upon the fate of the tournament.
