Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) began their Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign with the worst possible start as they lost to Rajasthan Royals by 61 runs. SRH skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and invited Rajasthan to bat but the decision backfired as RR batters smashed 210 runs.

Chasing a humongous target of 211, Williamson was involved in a contentious decision that went against SRH.
In the second over of their chase, Prasidh Krishna found the outside edge of Williamson's bat and the ball ricocheted off a diving Sanju Samson before Devdutt Padikkal, stationed at first slip, apparently caught it inches above the ground.
Was the SRH skipper Williamson given wrongly out?

Williamson refused to walk and the on-field umpires sent the decision to the TV umpire, and after looking at a few replays, the decision was given in favour of the fielding side.

SRH head coach Tom Moody had expressed his displeasure over the controversial decision that went against them after the match.

    — SportsTiger (@sportstigerapp) March 29, 2022 “We were very surprised that it was given out, particularly when we saw the replay. I can understand the on-field umpires taking it upstairs, and when that happened and we saw the evidence. We’re certainly not umpires, but it looked pretty clear to us what the decision was,” Moody had said after the match.

Four days after the incident, SRH finally decided to file an official complaint against the decision that went against them in their defeat.
According to a Cricbuzz report, SRH has written to the BCCI. "Yes, we've written to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)," a franchise official confirmed to Cricbuzz. "The procedure is that the coach has to write and the process has been followed."
Fans, however, were not too impressed with SRH filing a complaint days after the match and trolled them for potentially messing up another season.

    — arfan (@Im__Arfan) April 1, 2022 It was Aiden Markram, who scored an unbeaten half-century, and Washington Sundar (40 off just 14 deliveries) that helped SRH to trim down the margin of the defeat as at one stage it looked like Hyderabad would lose by over 100 runs.
The trouble for SRH did not with the defeat as their skipper was fined Rs 12 lakh for keeping a slow over-rate in the match.

The team management needs to shift their focus away from the previous game and focus on the next game in hand which is against Lucknow Super Giants on April 4.

Pravin Tambe, along with the Kolkata Knight Riders team, watched the biopic on his life, which was released on Friday, and were left teary-eyed and extremely emotional by the end.
After watching the movie about his journey with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team, leg-spinner Pravin Tambe was overcome with emotion and speechlessness.
On Friday, the film Kaun Pravin Tambe? was officially released.

Tambe was seen enjoying the movie with the KKR players and staff in a video provided by KKR.

Tambe then stood up to say a few words, but his voice became strangled as he tried to form words. He cried as he said, "I just want to say..." The team erupted in cheers as a show of support for the seasoned spinner.
After the premiere was over, the star of the night, Tambe, somehow, managed to fight his tears and asked the viewers to stick to their dreams and never think about giving up.
He urged everyone to understand and realise the fact that dreams do come true if you manage to stick with them and work on realising them relentlessly.

Shreyas Iyer, the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders, was also present for the show, and when the film was finished, he commented about how thrilled the team was to see the film and how they finally got to see it. It was emotional, the songs were pleasant, and when he gave his message at the conclusion, he became visibly moved.
When the movie ended, there were claps, cheers, whistles, and pats on the back for Pravin Tambe. Many people are aware that he made his acting debut at the age of 41, but many are unaware of his previous accomplishments.
People will watch the film and learn about it, and perhaps it will inspire them to never give up, Tambe stated in the video.

Before getting selected by Rajasthan Royals in 2013, Tambe had never played professional cricket. When he played for them that season, he became the oldest Indian Premier League (IPL) debutant. In 2014, he even scored a hat-trick against KKR.
He was purchased by KKR in the IPL 2020 auction, however, his contract was terminated by the BCCI since he participated in a T10 league without the necessary permissions. He went on to play in the Caribbean Premier League for the Trinbago Knight Riders.
