    Back when I was in college and studying commerce, I was taught how marketing, as a core business function, held great importance. The reason behind it being, marketing was what decided how well your product would sell, regardless of whether it was good or bad. 
    And it seems like Ola Cabs might just need a little revision on that concept.

    Under ire once again, it looks like the new year hasn’t been shaping up all that well for the cab service company. 

    A couple of weeks ago Ola Cabs were slammed by users for sending them horrifying notifications that read ‘8 Missed calls from Mom’, sending them into an ‘almost’ state of panic.
    One would think, one fiasco would be enough to learn your lesson and move on. But not Ola, for they have bounced right back with an equally frustrating marketing gimmick, this time sending users angry notifications.

    Ola users have taken to Twitter to share their dissent over Ola’s recent marketing campaign, where users were being sent notifications that read, ‘This is not a joke (insert angry face emoji)’.  
    It continued to say, ‘We keep giving you amazing discounts, but you still haven’t ordered on Ola Dash. No fooling around anymore, get your daily fruits and veggies now.’ 
    Somehow, the marketing team thought that instead of slightly suggesting or nudging the user, it would work better to scold and intimidate them into using their services.  
    Obviously, they were wrong, because folks on Twitter were mighty unimpressed.

    Chennai Super Kings (CSK) succumbed to their second consecutive defeat in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). It is the first time in their 13-year long journey that CSK has lost both their opening games in an IPL season. 
    Just days before the start of the 15th edition of the IPL, MS Dhoni stepped down as the captain of CSK and gave the leadership reins to Ravindra Jadeja. 
    In his first-ever match as captain in the cash-rich league, Jadeja lost to Shreyas Iyer's Kolkata Knight Riders.

    In the next match, after being sent in to bat, CSK posted a humongous total of 210 on the board. However, it was not enough as some poor fielding and shocking bowling changes cost the defending champions dearly.  
    While some dreadful bowling and below-average fielding let CSK down, what transpired on the field left many in shock including former India batter Ajay Jadeja.

    Analysing the match on Cricbuzz, the 51-year-old slammed MS Dhoni for not allowing Ravindra Jadeja to call the shots and said had it been a do-or-die match and then Dhoni had taken over, it would have been justified but to not allow a new captain make decisions in just the second game of the season was not right.

    "It is wrong, there is no doubt about that. See, there is no bigger fan of Dhoni than I am, and that's because of his temperament. If this was the last match of the group where there was a do-or-die situation in terms of qualification, then I could've probably understood that you would want to take over the reins because it is an important phase. But if it happens only in the second match of the season..” Jadeja said on Cricbuzz. 
    “See, I'm not saying this because it's Ravindra Jadeja. But even as a cricket fan, it looked a little odd. He (Jadeja) was standing right there and you continued to run the whole game. See, Dhoni is a very big player and I don't like saying it out loud. But I didn't like what I saw today,” he added.

    Ajay Jadeja further mentioned that instead of helping the all-rounder groom as the leader of the pack, Dhoni's antics on the field must have dented his confidence.
    “There hasn't been a captain like Dhoni nor there will be. But it was his decision to step down as CSK captain and today, instead of pushing him (Jadeja) forward, you have actually dragged him back. His confidence is dented. He wasn't in the game at all,” Ajay Jadeja said.
    “I'm not criticising the decisions. I'm being critical of the way he (Dhoni) took over. We noticed Dhoni speaking during the team meeting. There's no doubt that Dhoni understands the game better and even CSK fans would be urging him to take over the captaincy again. But I have no doubt that he was wrong in taking over today. If Jadeja was even beginning to feel confident about his captaincy, he won't now.”

    When Dhoni decided to step down as the captain of the franchise, it seemed like a decision taken considering the future of the team as we don't know for how long Dhoni will be there with the team and it was the right time to groom someone like Ravindra Jadeja for the role. 
    However, from what we have seen in the two CSK matches so far, it looks like MSD is still in charge of the troops on the field as he was the one calling shots while Jadeja was standing in the outfield.

    I always thought that when people talked about the ‘all-seeing eye’, they meant god or some higher power. 
    Little did I know, that in today’s day and age, that amounts to social media. Especially since there is nothing that the internet doesn’t see, remember and worse of all - trolls.
    Like Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu’s weight gain, for instance, that thanks to the lifeless trolls has now become a topic of national concern. 
    However, it’s not the weight gain here that needs attention, but the response that Sandhu had shared, that needs to be heard loud and clear.

    Evin Lewis' blistering 23-ball 55 and Badoni's crucial nine-ball 19 in the last overs helped Lucknow Super Giants reach an imposing target of 211 with three balls to spare. Gautam Gambhir's response to LSG's victory over Chennai Super Kings instantly went viral on Twitter.
    Gautam Gambhir was recognised for his zeal for the game throughout his playing days. The former India opener was known for wearing his heart on his sleeves, as he was a one-of-a-kind player who didn't hold back when it came to expressing emotions on the field. Gambhir, a two-time world champion, is presently functioning as the mentor of newcomers Lucknow Super Giants, and it appears that he hasn't changed much.

    On Thursday, a visibly ecstatic Gambhir was seen yelling in delight as Ayush Badoni scored winning runs against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings. Lucknow chased down an imposing total of 211 with three balls to spare at Brabourne, thanks to Evin Lewis' blistering 23-ball 55 and Badoni's crucial nine-ball 19 in the last overs.
    In the penultimate over, Lewis and Badoni hammered Shivam Dube for 25 runs, reducing the equation to nine balls from the last six. As a first-timer, Lewis finished with six fours and three sixes. LSG won their first match in the T20 competition. Badoni, who was just in his second IPL game, added two maximums to his tally.

    With nine runs needed from the last over, Mukesh Choudhary bowled a couple of wides to help the LSG hitters. Badoni struck a six to tie the game and then drove in the winning runs to help his team cross the finish line.
    Lucknow had gotten off to a great start earlier. Quinton de Kock (61) and KL Rahul (41) put on 99 runs for the first wicket, aided by shoddy fielding by the CSK fielders, maybe due to the dew effect. It's the first time in IPL history that the four-time champions have lost both of their opening two games.

    SS Rajamouli has broken his own record with his latest blockbuster RRR. 
    Starring NTR Jr and Ram Charan, RRR opened to a positive response and rocked the box office not just in India but in the US as well. 
    The film took down The Batman in the US on its premiere day and was placed at the third spot in the opening weekend in the country. 
    That’s not all! It was the number one movie around the world for its opening weekend beating all Hollywood & other international releases. 
    The movie has now achieved another milestone as it has gone past the lifetime box office collection of SS Rajamouli’s 2015 blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning.

    The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer had collected Rs 650 crore globally. Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer has collected an estimate of Rs 652-670 crore in just 6 days of its release. 

    According to a report in Forbes, the magnum opus has already collected $88 million at the worldwide box office and is now on course to go past $100 million by the end of its second weekend. 
    While RRR easily took down Baahubali: The Beginning it has now to be seen if it will be able to go past the massive box office collection of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion or not.  
    The 2017 film is the second-highest grosser of Indian cinema earning Rs 1810 crore. 
    The movie is also doing great business in its Hindi version. Reportedly, the film has collected over Rs 130 crore in just a week of its release and is racing to go past Rs 200 crore mark.

    However, it will be the hold this weekend that will decide if the Hindi version has enough gas in it to beat the lifetime collection of The Kashmir Files which has, so far, collected Rs 238 crore and is looking to fold around Rs 250 crore mark.

    Ganesh Acharya, the well-known choreographer, who choreographed Allu Arjun and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the hit Pushpa song Oo Antava and garnered a lot of accolades, is in legal trouble. The Mumbai Police has filed a charge sheet against the dance master and his assistant, according to reports.

    As per a police officer, Acharya has been accused of sexual harassment, stalking, and voyeurism in a case filed by a co-dancer in 2020.  

    As reported by Hindustan Times, the charge sheet was submitted in the court of a metropolitan magistrate concerned in Andheri, according to Oshiwara police officer Sandeep Shinde, who is investigating the case.  
    Ganesh Acharya and his assistant have been charged under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 323 (causing hurt), 354-a (sexual harassment), 354-c (voyeurism), 354-d (stalking), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (criminal intimidation), 509 (insulting the modesty of a woman), and 34 (common intention to commit an offense). 
    In her complaint, an assistant choreographer has accused Acharya of harassing her after she declined his sexual advances. He has been accused of making obscene remarks, showing her a pornographic film, and molestation. Six months later after she refused to cooperate with him, her membership was terminated by the Indian Film and Television Choreographers Association. When she spoke up against Acharya's activities at a meeting in 2020, the choreographer's assistants assaulted her.

    Talking about the same, the woman revealed, "The female assistants beat me up, abused me and defamed me after which I went to the police who refused to lodge a complaint and merely registered a non-cognizable case. Then I contacted a lawyer to take the matter further".

    While Acharya hasn't yet commented on the development, his lawyer, Ravi Suryavanshi, stated that the police hasn't informed them about the charge sheet. He said, "I don’t have the charge sheet so I cannot say anything, but all the sections in the FIR were bailable".
    On the career front, Ganesh Acharya has choreographed many hit songs featuring popular stars. He has also appeared in several music videos and acted in films too. For his choreography in the songs Hawan Kund from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Gori Tu Lath Mar from Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, he got the National Film Award for Best Choreography.

    Recently, while promoting the final film of his late father, the legendary Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor claimed that his uncle Randhir Kapoor, father of Kareena Kapoor is going through an early stage of dementia.  
    He further added that after watching Sharmaji Namkeen, he came looking for his younger brother Rishi Kapoor who passed away in 2020.

    Ranbir told NDTV, “I remember when my entire family saw it, my father's elder brother, my uncle Randhir Kapoor, who is going through an early stage of dementia, and he came to me after the film and said, ‘Tell dad that he was amazing in this film, and where is he, let’s call him'. Art crosses boundaries of medical conditions, issues, conflicts and a good piece of storytelling is what stands tall. Sharmaji Namkeen really embodies that.”

    Later, Randhir was contacted by TOI and the veteran actor refuted his nephew’s claim saying nothing like that happened and Ranbir is entitled to his opinion.  
    He also added that he has recently returned from Goa after attending a festival with his friend and filmmaker Rahul Rawail.  
    He told the website, “Aisa kuch nahi hua (Nothing of his sort has happened). Not at all. I am perfectly fine. I just had Covid sometime ago (in April 2021). Ranbir ki marzi (It's Ranbir's wish); he is entitled to say what he wants. I never said that. I am alright. In fact, I have just returned from Goa with Rahul Rawail. We were there at the Goa festival.” 
    Meanwhile, Sharmaji Namkeen has been released on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Hitesh Bhatia, the film was partially shot with Rishi Kapoor before he passed away.

    Later, the makers tried to get Ranbir on board to complete the remaining portions using prosthetics but that didn’t work.

    Some of the stinkiest foods that men who smell great steer clear from are garlic, onion and fried foods. They tend to make you sweat more and are the culprit behind the foul body odour. Instead, have green tea to kill bacteria in your mouth and smell pleasant and fresh.
    4. Use Fresh BeddingThe sweat from your clothes and skin can transfer to your bedsheets and can make you smell bad even when you’ve taken a shower. 

    Using fresh and washed sheets, pillow covers and blankets is not only hygienic but can help your smell fresh and good. So change the bedding once every week or twice if you sweat more. 
    5. Use The Right ProductsMost of your grooming and skincare products are packed with a sweet smell. However, it’s important to also have antibacterial and summer-friendly ingredients in your products. 

    The body talc, body wash, moisturiser, body lotion and aftershave can all help in achieving a nice smell throughout the day. That’s what well-groomed men swear by.
