Now, while most of the other things are subject to change in Bollywood, considering how ‘woke’ the movie is, what is often not compromised upon is an item number that is almost always present in a movie.
At least in the ones where John Abraham has played the lead role.
Recently, opening up about his take on item songs that are placed in his movies, the Attack star shared how it ‘kills’ him to have such songs in his movies.
With a view of never wanting to break the narrative or the flow of his movie, John explains how music is very important in his films.
However, when a producer asks him to add an item song, many of which have been performed by Nora Fatehi in his films, it pains him.

In an interview with Tried and Refused Productions, the actor shared, “Some of my music has been great. Jism, for me, is still my most favourite album. I think I have accidentally got very nice songs. But I have also got extremely bad songs. For me, the real dagger that pushes me down is when I am told that I have to have an item song in a film. And I don't want to sound condescending towards it but that kills me. That really breaks me."

Meanwhile, fans who are used to seeing Nora’s item songs in almost each of John’s movies took to Twitter to share a parade of memes.
On the work front, the actor will be seen starring next in an action thriller Attack where he plays the role of a super-soldier. The movie also stars actresses like Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh.
