MS Dhoni continued his fine run with the bat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) as he began his innings with a six over cover boundary off Avesh Khan.

Dhoni played just six deliveries, coming in to bat at number seven, but scored 16 runs with the help of two boundaries and a maximum.
Dhoni's strike rate of 266.67 was the highest across both teams in a high-scoring clash at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai on Thursday (March 31).

Fans were already in awe of Dhoni as he turned back the clock with his fearless batting, but his approach towards the game, even at the age of 40, impressed his first-ever batting partner in international cricket Mohammad Kaif.

Though Dhoni's debut ended in a disappointing way as he was run out for a duck after a mix-up with Kaif, what the wicket-keeper went on to achieve in the international during his nearly 16-year-long career earned him a legendary status in Indian cricket and not only fans, even former cricketers admire his love and passion towards the game.

Impressed with Dhoni's fearless batting, Kaif took to Twitter to praise the former India skipper by using a dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster movie Om Shanti Om.

"Dhoni finish nahi, finisher hai.  Not out again, picture aabhi bahut baaki hai. @msdhoni," Kaif tweeted.
Fans also echoed his opinion as social media was filled with congratulatory messages for the Indian cricket legend.

    — Ganesh Hader (@GaneshHalder01) March 31, 2022 To everyone's surprise, MS Dhoni has scored 66 runs this season in the two matches that he has played without being dismissed. He is seventh in the list of Orange Cap, only 27 runs behind the current leading run-scorer Faf du Plessis. It is safe to say with the kind of form Dhoni is in, if he comes up the order to bat, he might give a serious challenge to all the batters in the tournament for that Orange Cap.

    — Chennai Super Kings (@ChennaiIPL) March 31, 2022One thing working for the former CSK captain is that he has relinquished the leadership role and can now focus on his batting and play freely, a style that made him a household name in Indian cricket when he made his debut back in 2004.

One of the most popular aspects of The Kapil Sharma Show is its host Kapil Sharma’s fun banter with judge Archana Puran Singh.
Often while cracking jokes at Archana’s expense, Kapil mentions her luxurious bungalow on Madh Island. And several times, Archana has retorted by asking Kapil to look at his own lavish houses.
Well, let's give you a virtual tour of Kapil’s Mumbai house as well as his farmhouse in Punjab.
According to Magicbricks, Kapil lives in the Andheri West area of Mumbai that is home to other popular celebs like Alia Bhatt, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mika Singh, Sonu Sood and Arshad Warsi.
And the cost of his Mumbai house is estimated to be north of Rs 15 crore.
Kapil has often shared pictures of himself and his family from inside the house that give his followers a peek into his expensive lifestyle.
The living area of Kapil’s house is of an all-white theme and is filled with modern artefacts and an eye-popping wall colour. Overall, the interiors have been done in such a way that they give his house a retro look.

As for Kapil’s farmhouse in Punjab, it is all about greenery. The cost of his farmhouse is said to be over Rs 25 crore.
It features a large garden area including a beautiful fountain and swimming pool. And his living room consists of elegantly done interiors and large glass windows overlooking the garden.

Ravichandran Ashwin is one of the few active Indian cricketers who has been vocal about women's cricket on social media.

The off-spinner rarely misses a game of cricket and was one of the first from the men's team to lend support to the Indian women's team during their journey in the ongoing Women's World Cup.
Ever since the Indian team reached the final of the 2017 Women's World Cup, fans started to show a keen interest in women's cricket. This change also brought opinions that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) should introduce a Women's Indian Premier League (IPL) to promote the sport in the country.
    JUST IN: BCCI has proposed a six-team women's #IPL from 2023. @vijaymirror has more
    — Cricbuzz (@cricbuzz) March 25, 2022
It took the Indian board five years but they have finally proposed a six-team full-fledged IPL.

Ashwin, while answering fans' questions on ESPNCricinfo's Polite Enquiries, revealed that his franchise Rajasthan Royal is 'passionate and excited' about having their own women's IPL team.
Ashwin mentioned that when he heard about a possible six-team women's IPL. He had a chat with RR's CEO Jake Lush McCrum and he was looking forward to it.
"The other day I was having a chat with the (RR) CEO. I read an article on some six teams possible for the women's IPL. I just wanted to check because there are 10 franchises at this point and Jake was up in the arms. He said, 'Of course! It's going to be something that we are very, very passionate [about] and very, very interested in," Ashwin said.

    — Ashwin (@ashwinravi99) March 27, 2022
The 35-year-old further added that he thought about buying a women's IPL team of his own but then decided against it because it is 'too expensive' for his liking.

"So I just looked around the corner and said, 'OK, is there an opportunity that I can buy some team?' It's just too expensive for my liking (chuckles) but I'll be extremely thrilled to see what RR does," he added.
Fans reacted positively to the news and were excited about the future of women's cricket in India.

    — PUTIn #RR (@rus_vala) April 1, 2022The Women's IPL is subject to clearance by the BCCI AGM.
After Punjab Kings co-owner Ness Wadia showed interest in buying a Women's IPL team, Rajasthan Royals are the latest entrant to put their name forward and it is a great sign for female cricketers in the country as their dream of featuring in a tournament as big as the IPL may finally come true next year.
