The two new Indian Premier League (IPL) teams made their debut on Monday (March 28) as Gujarat Titans got the better of Lucknow Super Giants in the battle of debutants at the Wankhede stadium.

Apart from the excitement of seeing how the two new franchises would go about their work in the cash-rich league, one thing that fans were eagerly waiting for was to see Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda take the field together after their huge fallout during the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament early last year.
When Lucknow had signed both of them, fans were concerned thanks to the bad blood between the duo but their mentor Gautam Gambhir had assured that both were professionals and that you don’t need to be best friends to perform for the team.

    — ProBatsman (@probatsman) March 23, 2022 Lucknow skipper KL Rahul picked both all-rounders in the playing XI and the duo showed no signs of bad blood on the field. In fact, they were seen appreciating each other and celebrating together.
When Hooda was walking back after scoring a half-century, he got a pat on the back by Krunal and when the duo was on the field, defending their total of 158, they were seen hugging each other while celebrating a wicket and it made fans say that the IPL can do anything.

    — Tanmay (@StanCric) March 28, 2022In the match, Deepak Hooda smashed a half-century and picked up a wicket but it wasn't enough to take the team over the line as Gujarat Titans managed to chase down the target thanks to a handy contribution from their lower middle-order.

Apart from the Hooda-Krunal moment, another thing that got fans talking on social media was watching Hardik Pandya bowl at nearly 140 kph.
The all-rounder did not bowl in last year's IPL as he was struggling with a back issue but with the added responsibility of captaincy on his shoulders, Hardik bowled his quota of four overs.
    141…

Also, he played a sensible knock of 33 to bail his side out of danger after Lucknow managed to deliver a few early blows.
Captaining for the first time in IPL, Hardik began his journey with a win and more than his leadership skills, his fitness brought a big sense of relief among fans.

There were a few habits that I harboured when I was little, that I wish I had continued to date.
Waking up early and sleeping on time being one, and collecting every little coin and penny only to put it in my piggy bank, being another.
And considering how the former could get me a better life and the latter - a better conveyance option, I really do regret not keeping up with my habit.
As for someone who did, a man in Tamil Nadu saved for over 3 years and finally, brought his dream bike - a Bajaj Dominar 400, for Rs 2.6 lakh, and he made the payment in...1 Rupee coins.

29-year-old V Boopathi wanted to buy a Bajaj Dominar but knew that he had a lot of saving to do for it. Spending three years where Boopathi would actively exchange his currency notes for re 1 coin at temples, tea stalls and hotels only to save up for his dream, was finally able to do so.

He, along with four of his friends showed up at the showroom, carrying the coins in a van which they then got inside the showroom in wheelbarrows. The manager who at first was reluctant to accept payment in such a different manner, ultimately gave in to the idea for he didn’t want to disappoint Boopathi.

The manager had said, “The banks would charge 140 as commission for counting 1lakh (that too in 2,000 denomination). How will they accept it when we give them 2.6 lakh in one-rupee coins," Mahavikranth asked. "I finally accepted, considering Boopathi's dream of buying a high-end bike.”

It took about 10 hours and 4 of Boopathi’s friends plus 5 staff members to finally be able to count Rs 2.6 lakhs in denominations of Re 1. At 9 pm in the night, Boopathi had a new bike to his name and was happier than ever.

The Tamil Nadu man who is also a YouTuber shared, “I didn't have so much money at the time. I decided to save money from the revenue earned from the YouTube channel.” He further shared, “I recently inquired about the cost of the bike and learned that it was 2.6 lakhs now. And I had that amount this time.”

He is an Youtuber, this is just to give content for his channel... I don't think he saved coins for 2.6 L.

    — SriramShiva (@SriramShiva974) March 28, 2022 Meanwhile few people wondered if coins amounting to more than Rs 1000 could be used for payments, while others called it a gimmick simply to create some viral social media content.

Ashneer Grover has become quite a celebrity in the last year or so. It's not if the Founder and Managing Director of Bharat Pe stayed out of the limelight before but his stint as the judge of the hugely popular show Shark Tank India really brought him nearer to viewers.
Fans loved watching the different character that Ashneer brings to the show, which has been inspired by an American television reality-show.

Now, if you watch the show, you'd know that contestants of Shark Tank are often subjected to the criticism of Ashneer, who can really say awful things that are not for the faint of heart.

Well, something similar was said to one contestant by the name of Rohit Warrier, whose innovative business idea of Sippline Drinking Shields aka 'glass ka mask' made Ashneer go absolutely out of control.

'Waahiyat Product' is what's commonly known as the other name of the product showcased by Warrier and there is a long list of memes over the incident itself.

Back in the episode, Ashneer had told Warrier, “Yeh joh product hai naa, isse wahiyat product maine zindagi mein naa dekha hai, naa main dekhna chahta hun. Mere ko Bhagwan utha le! Itna ganda product hai ye. Iske baad main kuch nahi dekhna chahta life mein."
We already know that recently, Warrier had fired back at Ashneer and Aman Gupta for their criticism. However, it looks like Ashneer may just have regretted not investing in the product.
Well, at least that's what he says.

Recently, Ashneer, who was in the news for resigning from his company, had interacted with Rohan Joshi and Sahil Shah, when he was asked whether he regretted rejecting Sippline Drinking Shields on Shark Tank India.

    This was his reply.
"For the loss of entertainment in my life yes. Main soch raha hoon, agar main isko galti se bolta main tere mein invest kar raha hoon, tu 5 aur achi cheezein bana ke la, main toh roz haas haas ke pagal toh jata ki bhai ye toh live entertainment chal raha hai mera (I'm thinking if I had mistakenly told him that I'm investing in this product, he would have created 5 more such products and I would have been rolling on the floor laughing that I'm being entertained live), but not otherwise,” said Ashneer.
Ah, looks like Ashneer won't ever change in life.
