    India’s new skipper Rohit Sharma shares a great camaraderie with wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant and despite their huge age gap they don’t leave any opportunity to pull each other’s legs.
    Last year, Rohit had shared a picture of a messy hotel room on his Instagram story and had framed the young southpaw as the messiest player in the Indian team. The picture went viral in no time as people wondered how a person could live in such a chaotic manner.

    Taking Rohit’s post on the face value, everyone assumed that Pant likes to live in an untidy environment.

    After more than a year, Pant has exposed Rohit’s huge lie and explained the real truth behind that picture. During an interaction with Star Sports, the 24-year-old batter revealed that Rohit did so to save himself from the embarrassment. Not just that he even described him as the “messiest” player in the Indian team.

    Throwing light on that picture, the left-handed batter said it was actually Rohit’s room and he had asked him to do the packing for him and then clicked the picture and posted it on social media, labelling him to be something he wasn’t.

    “Messiest has to be Rohit bhai. I would like this to tell the story behind this. We were in Australia and he had asked me to do his packing for him. And then he clicked the picture (of his messy room) and shared it on social media, saying it was my room,” Pant revealed during an interaction, when he was asked to name the messiest player in the Indian team.

    Even though Rohit has become India’s full-time leader across all three formats, nothing has changed between him and Pant. They both continue to pull each other’s legs even today. 

    Last month when Pant was adjudged the Player of the Match for his heroics in the second T20I against New Zealand, Rohit had expressed his amazement and even made a sarcastic remark.

    It’s not only Rohit who pokes fun at the youngster, the southpaw also reciprocates the same whenever he gets the opportunity. Ahead of the third ODI against the West Indies Pant accidentally scared the skipper by raising his leg in the middle of their warm-up but his action invoked somewhat angry reaction from Rohit.
    Both Rohit and Pant are an important part of the Indian team across all three formats and their little banters are always fun to watch.

    Leaked pictures from the sets of Pathaan show Deepika Padukone flipping the ‘middle finger’ at the Spanish paparazzi. The actress is currently in Spain shooting for the film with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. Produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Siddharth Anand, the excitement around Pathaan is reaching a fever pitch as it marks the end of SRK’s 5-year-long sabbatical since the tanking of his previous film, Zero. 
    Deepika’s gesture may have been made in jest, but the pictures are going viral for all the wrong reasons, with social media users leaving no stone unturned in trolling her for allegedly ‘disrespecting’ the media. Although, these aren’t the first pictures to leak from the sets of Pathaan. Earlier, photos of Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan had gone viral as it gave a glimpse into what the actors’ looks would look like for the film. 
    In the recently leaked pictures, Deepika Padukone can be seen with messy hair, wearing a long black jacket, and flipping the ‘middle finger’ at the media in Spain. The middle finger, thanks to the world adopting each other’s cultures, is considered an offensive gesture that one shows someone in order to offend them. Although the expression isn’t native to India, netizens have spared no efforts to use this to bring the Gehraiyaan star down.

    Trolls are having a field day reacting to the Pathaan actress’ picture, with one commenting, “the same thing audience is gonna do when movie releases. ”, while another said, “Trying to be a kendal jenner.thora ro do ki mAi depression me bi yea vo b coz breakup ,har jagh yhi krti h.” Then there was this one who commented, “Imagine yahi harkat male star karta toh ab tak Kitne sawal uth chuke hote”Finally another left a comment saying, “Insulting Indian culture. Then they’ll say wo stree hai kuch b kar sakti hai ” .

    Suresh Raina will be seen in a new role in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as he is set to don the commentator's hat this season. Raina went unsold at the IPL 2022 mega auction and despite a number of overseas stars opting out of the tournament, no team showed interest to sign Mr IPL. 
    There were rumours that along with Ravi Shastri, Raina too will be seen in the commentary box in this year's IPL but the news was confirmed by the host broadcaster Star Sports on Tuesday (March 22). 
    He’s been all class on the field with bat and ball, now it’s time for the microphone!

    It was the first time since the inception of the IPL that Suresh Raina was not picked by any franchise. He was a regular name in the last 14 years of IPL, playing for over 10 years for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and in between led Gujarat Lions for two seasons when CSK were banned by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). 
    Raina had missed the 2020 season of the IPL due to personal reasons but came back in the next year and was part of the CSK side that won the IPL trophy for the fourth time.

    When CSK did not bid for their 'Chinna Thala', it raised a few eyebrows and many fans were angry with the Chennai-based franchise. 
    However, the fans will get to see Raina on their TV screens, not on field but behind the microphone. Reacting to the news, fans flooded social media with heartwarming messages for the southpaw.

    After delivering two blockbusters in Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Prabhas was often touted as the biggest pan-India star even bigger than the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Rajinikanth. 
    His next release Saaho, despite receiving poor reviews and underperforming in Telugu states turned out to be a Rs 150 crore hit in Hindi belts. 
    Naturally, a lot was expected from his latest release Radhe Shyam. It was supposed to get the audience back to theatres and end the dry spell of South Indian films in Hindi markets.

    Moreover, film’s sound designer, the Oscar winner Resul Pookutty oversold it by calling its climax even bigger than Titanic. 

    But, nothing mattered once the film released on March 11. It received mixed to negative reviews and faced an unexpected competition in the much smaller film The Kashmir Files. 
    Starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar and Pallavi Joshi, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files surprised everyone with its huge growth at the box office and turned out to be a huge hit.  
    The hysteria around The Kashmir Files affected Radhe Shyam and the film bombed in Hindi.  
    However, the collections in Telugu states were huge but due to poor content the film crashed from Monday onwards.  
    According to Pinkvilla, the film collected Rs 42 crore on its opening day, Rs 25.50 crore on its day 2 and Rs 24.50 crore on its day 3. After facing a dip in collections, the film completely crashed on its day 4 with just Rs 7.50 crore.

    In four days, the film could only make Rs 99.50 crore. And over its first week, it couldn’t do much. The film barely reached the Rs 100 crore mark and couldn’t even go past Rs 125 crore.  

    The report suggests that Prabhas’ latest film has turned out to be one of the biggest disasters of all time at the box office with losses over Rs 100 crore, a first for any Indian film. 
    Before Radhe Shyam, the biggest disaster from Indian cinema was Ranveer Singh starrer 83 that suffered losses of Rs 80 crore, second in the list was the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Bombay Velvet that lost Rs 70 crore.

    Another report in Track Tollywood stated that the losses suffered by the film are even higher than Rs 110 crore.
