If there is one place that's always buzzing with 'masala' content at any given time of the year, irrespective of external circumstances, it's Twitter. While it's primarily a platform where people are supposed to express their opinions while keeping it short and sweet, the 'sweetness' often gets replaced with masala-laden acerbic savagery, which makes things all the more enjoyable for the not-so-latent voyeur hidden inside every individual.

Sherlyn Chopra started a conversation on Twitter around Holi that 'calls out the hypocrisy' around festivals of different faiths. Take a look at the tweet here.

@zoo_bear
    — Sherlyn Chopra (शर्लिन चोपड़ा) (@SherlynChopra) March 20, 2022
While the tweet gathered extreme momentum, the official handle of RJD UP reshared her tweet with a response.

@zoo_bear https://t.co/f5YYutr0he
    — RJD Uttarpradesh (@RJDUttarPradesh) March 20, 2022
While it took a dig at her racy photographs and videos from the past, Sherlyn clearly is not someone to take it lying low. She decided to deal with it with equal doses of savagery and humour.
    — Sherlyn Chopra (शर्लिन चोपड़ा) (@SherlynChopra) March 20, 2022
RJD's handle decided to not hold back either, and continued marching on with equal fervour, toe to toe with Sherlyn in this increasingly scandalous feud.

    — RJD Uttarpradesh (@RJDUttarPradesh) March 20, 2022
However, Sherlyn wasn't done yet. She decided to go for the jugular as well, as brought up the issue of scams in her final response.
    — Sherlyn Chopra (शर्लिन चोपड़ा) (@SherlynChopra) March 20, 2022
While this exchange was super savage from both the sides, people did not hold back either. They were invested in it, and did pick sides - Sherlyn seemed to be the preferred side in this context.

KL Rahul has been one of the most consistent batters in the IPL in the last few years. Since 2018, he has never finished outside of the Top 3 in the Orange Cap race, which speaks volumes of his incredible consistency.
In fact, no one accumulated more runs than the 29-year-old in the last four editions of the cash-rich league combined. Despite his immaculate performances, it wasn’t a huge surprise when Rahul parted ways with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in search of a fresh challenge.
    View this post on Instagram
The franchise obviously didn’t want to let go of a prolific run-scorer who had scored in excess of 500 runs in each of the last four seasons for them but they couldn’t do anything to stop him.
The right-handed opener had initially intended to go into the auction but then he agreed to a contract with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), after they made him the most expensive player in the tournament.
    View this post on Instagram
During the auction, the PBKS head coach Anil Kumble had revealed that they obviously wanted to retain Rahul but they couldn’t come to an agreement as he had decided to enter the auction.
But before the mega auction, he joined LSG who picked him as their first-choice draft by paying a staggering Rs 17 crore.
    View this post on Instagram
His big-money gave air to various conversations. People started wondering if his decision was only inspired by ambitions of winning the IPL trophy or was it only because of monetary reasons.
For months, Rahul maintained his silence on the issue but recently during an interaction with Red Bull, he shared why he called time on his four-year-long stint at the Punjab-based outfit and moved on to the next challenge.
    View this post on Instagram
Without throwing any light on what went wrong or what were the issues he faced at his previous franchise, Rahul shared that the decision was solely based on his growing ambition.
“I have been with them for four years and I’ve had a great run with them. Just wanted to see what’s in store for me and if there’s a new journey for me,” said the LSG skipper.
“It was a tough call obviously. I have been attached to Punjab for a long time. I wanted to see if I can do something else,” he added.
    View this post on Instagram
Those who have been following IPL for long know that the actual reason why Rahul parted ways with PBKs was because of the kind of abysmal result they had produced in the last few seasons.
While their captain finished in the top echelons of the batting charts, the franchise finished sixth in each of the last three editions. All these years, he towed the franchise on his shoulders single-handedly and perhaps was fed up with the side’s lack of competitiveness.
A new beginning at LSG would perhaps help him change all of that.

Rani Mukerji, who was last seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2, is among the most-loved actresses of Indian cinema. Time and again, she has proven her versatility with films like Yuva, Black, Mardaani, Hichki among others. In a career spanning over two decades, Rani has delivered various successful films and is still very much active in the Hindi film industry.
    View this post on Instagram
Besides all the success, fame, and appreciation, the actress also had her fair share of controversies. Below, let's take a look at her biggest controversies:
Alleged affair with Govinda View this post on Instagram
Govinda, who met Rani Mukerji on the set of Hadh Kar Di Aapne (2000), grew close to the actress and reportedly had an extramarital affair with her. He was once caught in Rani's room in a night dress, as reported by Masala.com, when a journalist went to visit the actress at her home. According to rumours, Govinda lavished money on her by gifting her a high-end car, jewellery, and an apartment. Sunita, the actor’s wife, later moved out of their house but he was unwilling to leave his marriage to marry Rani, so the couple split up.
Govinda and Rani never confirmed being in a relationship. However, the Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna star had once stated that the two kept their distance because of Govinda's wife Sunita. Both of them have now moved on in their lives and are happy with their respective spouses.
Catfight with Aishwarya Rai View this post on Instagram
Rani and Aishwarya were among the top actresses in the late 90s and early 2000s. Despite being each other's competitors, both of them used to share a close bond and often expressed love for each other publically. However, according to reports, the two ladies had drifted apart in the mid-2000s. Back then, there were rumours that their friendship turned sour when Shah Rukh Khan replaced Aishwarya with Rani for Chalte Chalte after Salman Khan had created a scene on the sets. Later, it was also said that Rani and Abhishek Bachchan apparently parted ways because of Aishwarya. However, both the ladies neither confirmed nor denied the rumours.
Comment on #MeToo View this post on Instagram
Back in 2018, after the #MeToo movement gained traction in Bollywood, a number of celebrities stepped forward in its support. Following this, popular Bollywood actresses including Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma among others discussed the #MeToo movement's influence during an interview. While other heroines supported the movement, Rani had a different view. She emphasised the need for girls to learn martial arts for self-defence. However, Deepika and others were of the view that one should not even bring it to a point where girls should learn self-defence. People on social media evidently had an issue with Rani's viewpoints and she was brutally trolled for her comment.
Spat with Vivek Oberoi View this post on Instagram
Rani and Vivek worked together in the blockbuster hit Saathiya (2002), however, they had a cold war with each other. Vivek, Aishwarya's then-alleged beau, had a heated dispute with Rani, who was once a close friend of the Devdas actress. Vivek, reportedly, wasn't close to Rani, and he counselled Ash to keep his distance from the Bong beauty as well. When Rani learned of this, she got into a fight with Vivek.
Cold war with Jaya Bachchan View this post on Instagram
According to rumours, Jaya Bachchan was not pleased with her son Abhishek's relationship with Rani. She reportedly never wanted them to marry and told her son to keep away from the actress as Jaya thought Rani was too arrogant and loud. Later, Abhishek parted ways with Rani and tied the knot with Aishwarya. Furthermore, rumours circulated that Jaya and Rani had a squabble during the filming of Yash Raj Productions' Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. Both of them were speculated to be not on speaking terms with one another.

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor had some really good news for the world on Monday (March 21).

The Delhi-6 star took to social media platform Instagram to announce her first pregnancy with her husband Anand Ahuja.
The actress shared three pictures alongside her hubby on Instagram in which she can be seen cradling her baby bump while lying down on the couch with Anand.
    View this post on Instagram
While we do not know if Sonam and Anand are in India or abroad, the actress wrote on her Instagram post:
“Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.”
She also added the hashtags #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022 with her post.
While the news broke the internet, it certainly had an effect on the Bollywood industry as well, with many B-stars sharing their reactions in the comment section.
To be honest, it really is big news and Sonam's papa Anil Kapoor would be a very happy man as well today.

Well, here is what many Bollywood celebs commented.

First to the list was Bollywood superstar actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who wrote,
“Wohoooooooo soooo happy for you both. Can’t wait for the babies to play.”
It's known that the two actresses share a very good bond and now with Sonam being a mum as well, we think they're going to get even tighter.
    Actress Dia Mirza too commented,
“Such wonderful news!!! So happy for you.”
Following this, Sonam also received congratulatory messages from the upcoming stars of Bollywood like Ananya Pandey, Jhanvi Kapoor, and her younger sister Khushi Kapoor.
    “Congratulations.” wrote Ananya.
"OH MY GOD WHAT!!!!!!" wrote an ecstatic Jhanvi.
Sonam also got messages from stars like Bhumi Pednekar, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui star Vaani Kapoor.
It sure looks like the day will probably go with a lot of loving messages and calls from her loved ones and friends, and honestly, we couldn't be happier for her.
Sonam, who is the eldest daughter of Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, tied the knot with Anand back in May 2018.

According to reports, the star has refuted news of her pregnancy many times during the course of her marriage.

The actress was last seen in the 2019 Bollywood film The Zoya Factor, in which she starred alongside Dulquer Salmaan.
Sonam also made a cameo appearance in the Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap film AK vs AK, which was released on Netflix in 2020.

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to kick off in less than a week's time. This year two more teams -- Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans -- have joined the race to the title, making it a 10-team tournament. Due to the ongoing Covid pandemic, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to conduct all the 70 league games across four venues in Maharashtra.
All the 10 franchises have booked entire hotels for their players and staff but five-time champions Mumbai Indians have set up a bio-secure arena spread across 13,000 square metre at the Jio World Garden in Mumbai.
The opening of MI Arena was a total धमाल event!

P.S. You will just love Ro in this video. He was truly in his element. #OneFamily #MumbaiIndians MI TV pic.twitter.com/OB1MSXZpkU
    — Mumbai Indians (@mipaltan) March 21, 2022
The 'MI Arena' will help players gel with each other and also relax from the bubble fatigue. "MI Arena has been created to allow the team to connect and get to know each other better through the season, but also un-wind and relax. The past 2 years has thrown up so many unique challenges but we are "One Family" and it is MI's priority and responsibility to keep everyone safe and happy", a MI spokesperson was quoted as saying in the media release by the franchise.
Fans took to Twitter to react to Mumbai Indians spending money like water to make players feel relaxed inside the bio-bubble and also took a dig at Pakistan Super League.
There have been instances in the past where Pakistan Cricket Board chief Ramiz Raja and some Pakistani journalists have tried to compare their T20 league with the IPL.
No comparison between PSL and IPL! PSL started in 2016 while IPL inaugurated in 2008. However one has to admit PSL gained worldwide popularity more quicker in an era when other boards had introduced their leagues too whereas there was no competitor in the market when IPL was born
    — Arfa Feroz Zake (@ArfaSays_) March 18, 2022
Indian cricket fans truly showed them the mirror on social media with a hilarious take on Mumbai Indians' spending.
Shame in @mipaltan …they have spent more than entire budget of @thePSLt20
    — Engineer By Mistake (@ebymistake) March 21, 2022This is d plan to make new players feel safe nd do best for their franchise. Franchise wil now become their first priority...

    — Aman⁴⁵ (@Proudindian456) March 21, 2022PCB chief has even gone on record to say that if they move from a draft system to auction model like the IPL, he will see which player will pick IPL over PSL, saying that PSL will become a bigger brand than the Indian franchise-based league.
PCB chairman Ramiz Raja wants PSL to adopt the auction model to beat IPL. pic.twitter.com/gQPoGVQDeC
    — Circle of Cricket (@circleofcricket) March 14, 2022
While there is nothing wrong in dreaming about the possible outcomes but the fact of the matter is IPL is the biggest cricket league in the world and it has managed to sustain it's superiority for over 14 years and is still going strong.
The BCCI is expecting to generate over 800 crore from sponsorship and other deals from the upcoming season and it shows the craze of the cash-rich league has gone to another level which is difficult to match for any other league around the world.
