For all you coders out there, here’s a little something to bring a smile to your face.

Inspired by the ‘bro-talk’ commonly used by the Hindi-speaking male gentry from India, this programming language is making the tech side of life a lot more fun.
‘Bhai-Lang’ created by two Indian bros may have started out as a joke, but it’s quickly gaining virality across the internet thanks to its novel take on coding and programming.
Here are a few things you may like to know about ‘Bhai-Lang’, the Javascript-based language:

    1.  ‘Bhai’,  the Hindi word for brother, is the centrepiece around which this programming language is built.

To make use of the code, users must input ‘hi bhai’ as the entry point code, while the statements must end with ‘bye bhai’. All code written within these tags will be valid, while everything outside of it will be ignored.

    2. You can customize, and allot different values and functions to variables as per your requirement, "To declare variables, programmers would be required to use "bhai ye hai.”

Javascript has now been made appealing to the non-tech crowd as well, thanks to the fun lingo.

    3.  If you’re interested in learning how to make the most of ‘Bhai-lang’, then head on to the program’s GitHub page, where you can see the entire directory of how to use built-ins, conditionals, and loops while programming in the experimental Javascript program.

    4.  In case you’re in the mood for some fun, the website's playground feature, allows users to toy around with the code, in order to execute commands and tasks using Bhai-lang.

The bro-inspired language is supposed to be a fun dig at conversations among bros with signifiers like "jab tak bhai," "bol bhai," etc.
The language was birthed as a result of an inside joke, according to its creators.

    5.   Rishabh Tripathi and Aniket Singh, the creators of the new Javascript library are both software development engineers, at Groww and Amazon respectively.

    6.  If your code runs successfully this programming language gives “Shandar Bhai” message in green colour as output

    7. In the case of an error,  you’ll be shown, a message popularised by Shark Tank India’s Ashneer Grover: “Bhai kya kar raha hai tu” in red text.

Responding to a Twitter user’s post calling for suo moto identification & trial of culprits of the Kashmiri Pandit Exodus in 1990, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has thrown his weight behind the idea that such a process should be the step forward in making reparations to the victims of the incident.

The Kashmir Files has seemingly opened up a can of worms with people across the political spectrum debating, discussing, and dissecting the ‘realities’ shown in the film.
Many claim that the makers of the film have 'distorted' the series of events that actually transpired in order to stoke communal sentiments, while the rest claim that the film has accurately and explicitly depicted the violent circumstances under which the Kashmiri Pandits were forced to flee from the Valley.

The original Tweet by the user seeking a retroactive approach to justice, similar to what happened during the Nuremberg trials after the genocide committed by Nazi Germany, read, “I appeal to judges of Supreme Court of India to order suo moto identification & trial of executors of Hindu Genocide Kashmir Valley 1990. So much evidence now public ordering trial like Nuremberg is their duty.#PMModi #AmirKhan #VivekRanjanAgnihotri”

Affirming his support of the same, Vivek Agnihotri, replied, “This should be the next step. Can some legal experts advise how we can take this forward?”.

With all that’s said and done, The Kashmir Files has once again thrust the controversial filmmaker into the limelight.

The unprecedented response to The Kashmir Files is undeniable, with the film steadily entering the Rs 100 crore club at the box office, showing no signs of slowing down. The Anupam Kher starrer has amassed the highest single-day haul of Rs 19.15 crore so far.

A further testament to the success of The Kashmir Files is the fact that it has equalled the day 8 collections of Baahubali 2, having received a theatrical release last Friday.
The film by Vivek Agnihotri claims to show the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley in the 1990s.

The metrics of TKF’s success were further broken down by film trade analyst Taran Adarsh:

     "#TheKashmirFiles creates history… *Day 8* of #TKF [ ₹19.15 cr] is at par with #Baahubali2 [ ₹19.75 cr] and higher than #Dangal [ ₹18.59 cr], the two iconic hits… #TKF is now in the august company of all-time blockbusters… [Week 2] Fri 19.15 cr. Total: ₹116.45 cr. #India biz."
Love it or loathe it, The Kashmir Files has stirred up a lot of noise around it. Have you watched the film yet? Let us know your thoughts on the film in the comments below.

Shoaib Akhtar, former Pakistan pacer, has to be one of the most controversial cricketers of all time. His antics on and off the field kept him in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

However, there is no denying the fact that he was one of the fastest bowlers who instilled fear in batters’ minds.
However, the former Pakistan fast-bowler made an honest admission over his inspiration that led to him becoming one of the fastest bowlers to have ever played the game, even breaching the 100 miles per hour barrier.
#OnThisDay in 2002. Shoaib Akhtar became the first man to break the 100mph barrier when he was clocked bowling to Craig McMillan at 100.04mph (161kph) during a one-day international against New Zealand in Lahore #Cricket pic.twitter.com/laD4Oh0H3J

Speaking on stand-up comic Tanmay Bhat's YouTube show, Akhtar said he started bowling just to impress girls but when he did not get the attention he was looking for, he decided to make a name for himself in the sport.

'Maine ladkiyo ko impress karne ke liye bowling start ki thi. To be honest with you, humare vaha ek ladkiyon ka block hota tha unko impress karne ke liye maine bowling start ki thi. Vo khade ho kar dekhte the aur mai local star ban gya tha. Jab mujhe lift nahi mili, motorcyle pa aata tha. Tab I realised ki mujhe is game mei aage jana chahiye. (I started playing cricket for girls. To be honest with you, we had a girls' block. I started bowling to impress them. They used to watch my fast bowling. I had become a local star. But when I used to come on my motorcycle and didn't get any attention, I realised I needed to move forward in cricket)', Akhtar said.

During the show, Akhtar also reminisced about an incident where he thought people in India would burn him alive when he nearly caused an injury to Sachin Tendulkar.

"One night there was a party over there. India and Pakistani players were there. I went up to Sachin and told him, let me carry you on my shoulder. He is small in height so I thought it would be easy. But as soon as I picked him up, he slipped and fell on his back. I thought he is injured now. I asked him apologetically, "Sachin, lagi toh nahi na? (Are you okay?)," Akhtar said.
"He (Tendulkar) replied, "Agar mujhe injury hui hoti na, tujhe India waale jala dete. Zinda (If I got injured, Indians would have burnt you alive)," Akhtar concluded.
The fast-bowler may have tormented many batters during his playing days but he should consider himself lucky that nothing happened to Tendulkar that day. Because even a minor injury to the 'Master Blaster' would have made Akhtar's stay in the country difficult.
