Back in the 90s, several leading male stars of Bollywood teamed up for two-hero films and delivered many blockbusters. However, in the last few years, only a handful of two-hero movies were made in the Hindi film industry.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavaat and Siddharth Anand's War are among the few expectations. For the unversed, Padmaavat starred Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in leading roles and War had Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.
While both these films turned out to be huge hits, most of the A-listers often remain skeptical about sharing screen space with another actor in a big project. Looks like the trend is changing slowly as several biggies have been announced in the last few months with two male stars. Below, let's take a look at the list of most-awaited two-hero Bollywood films:
    Pathaan
After a wait of around four years, Shah Rukh Khan is finally returning to films with Siddharth Anand's Pathaan. While SRK plays a spy in the action-thriller, John Abraham will be seen as the antagonist. Interestingly, Pathaan has been in the making since last year, however, the makers officially announced it recently. Since then, fans are eagerly waiting to witness SRK and John's face-off on the big screen. Starring Deepika Padukone as the leading lady, the much-hyped movie is slated to hit the theatres next year, on January 25, during the Republic Day weekend.
    Tiger 3
After the huge success of Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are all set to entertain fans with the third part of the franchise. Interestingly, Emraan Hashmi will be making a grand entry in Tiger 3 as a baddie. This is going to be the first time when both the male stars will be sharing screen space and fans are dying to watch them together. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the movie is scheduled to release on April 21, 2023.
    Bade Miyan Chote Miyan
Bollywood's 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar is teaming up with young action star Tiger Shroff for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (BMCM). The film shares the same name as the Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda-starrer from 1998, however, it is not a remake. Touted as the biggest action entertainer, it is going to be a visual treat for fans to see their favourite action stars performing daredevil stunts while fighting goons together. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is slated to hit the big screens on Christmas 2023.

The Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles, is among the most-awaited Bollywood films. A remake of the Tamil hit of the same name, the film has been directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, who wrote and directed the original. While Hrithik plays the role of a rowdy gangster Vedha, Saif is essaying a police officer named Vikram. After seeing their first looks, fans are eagerly waiting to see Hrithik and Saif locking horns on screen. After a 19-year hiatus, the actors are finally reuniting on screen for Vikram Vedha. They last appeared together in Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, which was released in 2002.
    Selfiee
Earlier this year, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions announced the official Hindi remake of the Malayalam movie Driving Licence. Titled Selfiee, the film will be directed by Good Newwz fame Raj Mehta and stars Akshay Kumar alongside Emraan Hashmi for the very first time. The announcement was made in a fun teaser leaving fans excited for the movie that will be filled with entertainment, laughter, and emotions. As suggested by the teaser, Akshay will be seen as a superstar in Selfiee while Emraan is playing the role of his fan.

Attention all comic books fans! The latest trailer for Doctor Strange And The Multiverse of Madness is out, and it is nothing short of a masterpiece.

Helmed by the guy that inspired countless comic book movies with his Spiderman trilogy from the noughties, Sam Raimi is all set to take us on the ride of our lives with a horror-laced take of the Doctor Strange universe, with Benedict Cumberbatch proving he’s more than capable of giving the Sorcerer Supreme a dark twist.
The trailer features many familiar characters in Baron Mordo, Scarlet Witch in a different light as well. And it also does a great job of slyly hiding major plot points in plain view for all eagle-eyed viewers.
So, read on to find out the easter eggs you may have missed!

    1. The Illuminati Imprison Strange Doctor Strange has been established as one of the strongest superheroes in the Marvel roster, but who can hold the Sorcerer Supreme accountable for meddling with the multiverse? Well, if conspiracy theorists are right on this, then, it might just be Marvel comic book Universe’s ‘Illuminati’  who are up to that challenge.
Traditionally the council has comprised of Marvel’s bigwigs such as Tony Stark, Reed Richards, Namor, Black Bolt, Professor X, and even Strange himself.
In this trailer, according to tin foil experts, one can hear Patrick Stewart’s unmistakable voice saying, “We should tell him the truth." I don’t know about you guys, but bringing in the legendary actor to reprise his role as the bald badass is nothing short of impressive.

    2. Stealing Wanda’s TricksAt a point in the trailer, you can see Doctor Strange in the middle of a spell, but this time around, his enchantment glows red, quite similar to another popular Avenger - Scarlet Witch.
Wanda Maximoff is an extremely powerful sorceress, and according to comic books, is an Omega level mutant too. She is adept at using Chaos Magic, which as the name suggests is hard for anyone to control but her.

    3. Ultron Won In This UniverseMarvel’s What If? explored well the myriad of unconventional possibilities that the cinematic universe had left uncharted. And it looks like the animated show has emboldened Sam Raimi and Marvel studios to take things further with Doctor Strange And The Multiverse Of Madness.
During a sequence where Strange is handcuffed, he’s being escorted by a squad of Ultron bots. Perhaps, in this particular universe, Ultron won his battle against the Avengers, successfully implementing his program.

    4. Good Sorcerer Gone BadBy this point, it’s been established that Doctor Strange is one of the most overpowered characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But what happens when he (or a version of him) embraces his dark side? Well, nothing short of absolute chaos.
The evil Doctor Strange in the trailer could be based on The Necromancer from the comic books.

    5. Zombie Powered Doctor Strange A lot of what makes Doctor Strange a hero is his humanity, if it weren’t for it, he’d have single-handedly brought the world to his knees with his armada of powers.
Towards the end of the trailer, we can see a zombie version of Strange, using a multi-arm move that is part of his repertoire from Infinity War.
The undead version of the Sorcerer Supreme spells nothing but bad news for the fate of humankind.

Bobby Deol is riding high on the success of his recent film Love Hostel directed by Shanker Raman and produced by Shah Rukh Khan.
He has received some of the best reviews of his career for the film and people are praising “Bobby Deol 2.0”.
Not just in terms of performance, another aspect that makes Bobby Deol 2.0 a force to reckon with is his fitness.
    © Tips Industries
We all saw how in Race 3 he took his shirt off and walked in slo-mo with Bhai bare-chested.

During an exclusive conversation with MensXP, we pointed out how Dharmendra was mighty impressed with his physical transformation during Race 3 and had stated that he wanted him to be this fit during Apne when Bobby filmed all those boxing scenes. But Dharam ji said that Bobby was lazy at that time.
    © Vijayta Films
Bobby quickly interrupted and said, “I wasn’t lazy. I was not lazy at all. I still remember I had this whole discussion with Anil Sharma. I told him, ‘You can’t start this film right away. You have to give me one year to prepare.’ He didn’t listen to me and it was really frustrating for me because I never ever removed my shirt on-screen (before Apne) even when I was fitter. But, it’s just that I couldn’t stop it from happening and that’s why…So, my dad doesn’t realise that, he always thinks, ‘You gotta look good’. But, that (not being fit enough for Apne) is something I was always disappointed with. And I can just say that Anil Sharma is the reason why that happened to me.”

He further added, “I mean I respect Anil ji but I just wanted you to know the backstory of that.”
He then continued that Apne 2 is happening and he is excited about it. Also, now that he is in the best shape of his life, “I am telling him to let me show my body. I hope he allows me to show my body this time (laughs)”.
    © Soham Rock Star Entertainment
Apne 2 will star Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Karan Deol. The film was supposed to go on floors last year but has been pushed due to the pandemic. It is expected to start filming this year.

Dhadak actress Janhvi Kapoor turned 25 yesterday and safe to say, it was one helluva celebration.
From glitz to glamour, her intimate home decor, festivities and birthday cheer reminded us of Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. The only difference was, it wasn’t raining men.

The Roohi star was seen travelling to Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh with her group of friends who looked absolutely stunning in traditional kanjeevaram sarees.
Janhvi was looking radiant in her green and pink saree paired with diamond and emerald earrings.

It was heartening to see the young star choose to visit a temple on her birthday to seek blessings from Lord Venkateshwara Swami, looking simple in a braid and a contagious smile. And as far as the festivities at home were concerned, Janhvi flew back to Mumbai to celebrate with her sisters.

Her place was all decorated with a super cute birthday set-up, filled with balloons, lights and birthday frames.

Janhvi was snapped in a black dress while Khushi was dressed in a white shirt and printed pants and Anshula was in a black and white dress.

The celebration was accompanied by Janhvi’s father Boney Kapoor, her childhood friend Akshat Rajan. Janhvi even posted a picture of her sister Khushi Kapoor in her story, where Khushi was sporting a pair of sunglasses as Janhvi wrote ‘Birthday Welcome’.

The pictures looked as happy and jovial as they could be and Anshula also posted a story with her sister as she wrote, “A year older! A year bolder! Here’s to another year of laughing together, annoying each other, salivating over food videos together, crying together, messing up together, watching emo films together and loving each other! You’re my Bae, I love youuuu (more than you love tiramisu).”

On the work front, Janhvi has a lot of films like Dostana 2 and Good Luck Jerry lined up.

Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who failed to make it to the playing XI in the first Test against Sri Lanka, has been released from the Test squad ahead of the second Test match in Bengaluru.
The decision was taken after another left-arm spinner Axar Patel cleared his fitness Test and joined the Indian team ahead of the upcoming day-night Test.
    View this post on Instagram
Kuldeep was not part of the original 18-member squad but was asked to stay back as an emergency backup after the T20I series.
Even though the team went in with three spinners in Mohali, Kuldeep failed to make the cut and was seen carrying drinks as Jayant Yadav was preferred to him, alongside the two veterans Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.
    View this post on Instagram
While Ashwin and Jadeja decimated the opposition batting line-up and accounted for three-fourth of the Sri Lankan wickets, Jayant looked way off. It seemed as if he was bowling on a different surface than others. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t challenge the Lankan batters and was the only Indian bowler who went wicketless in both innings.
Looking at his ordinary performance, the majority of the fans were of the view that if there was anyone who needed to make way for Axar Patel, it was Jayant not Kuldeep. But they were left surprised after knowing that Kuldeep has been released from the Test side while Jayant has managed to retain his position.
    View this post on Instagram
When the leadership change was announced, the supporters had hoped to see a change in policy towards Kuldeep and that he would get a long run under the new management.
However, that hasn’t been the case which has left fans disappointed. The angry supporters of the Indian team are now accusing skipper Rohit Sharma for destroying the Kanpur-born cricketer’s career by limiting him to serving drinks after including him in the squad.
    Rohit destroying his career
    — F 1 1 C K (@82_notout) March 7, 2022WTF are they doing with him?? Ek match ke liye replace karke kya kar loge. We're gonna win the next match anyways.
    — Indian Knight Rider (@ind_nat_cric) March 7, 2022This is wrong, just feel how kuldeep was had felt when he got told "you can leave the team because axar is back" he going through worst phase
    — Tanmay Upadhyay (@lmTanmay74) March 7, 2022Correct
    — Darshan (@deekuonfire) March 7, 2022Guess what, he can't even play ranji now!
    Thats how they're wasting kuldeep.
    — Aakash (@AakashSingh64) March 7, 2022With out even playing a single match the longer run this time around ended
    — Alex (@Alex80598576) March 7, 2022Rohit is Just Destroying His career......
    — Saswat Mishra (@im_saswatsm) March 7, 2022I dont know how selectors manage to go So harsh on #KuldeepYadav every bloody time??
    — Nikhil Gera (@BeingNikGera) March 7, 2022If the team management was so clear in their game plan and knew that Kuldeep wasn’t going to be in their starting line-up, then instead of asking him to stay back and warming the bench, they should have released him to play the Ranji Trophy for his state. He has been released at a time when the first-leg of the Ranji Trophy is already over and there are no domestic matches scheduled between now and the start of the IPL.
Kuldeep is going through a difficult phase in his career at the moment and he needs as much game time as possible to gain his confidence back, especially with the IPL around the corner.
    View this post on Instagram
The 27-year-old is a unique talent, hence it is extremely important for our decision-makers to make sure that he is not wasted on the bench.
