    The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is set to kick off in a few weeks and the promo for this year has been released. 
    Just like last year, former India captain MS Dhoni is the face of the campaign of the IPL. While Dhoni was seen in a monk avatar in 2021, this year, he's turned into a bus driver. 
    The promo shows the madness that comes with the biggest T20 extravaganza every season. In the promo, Dhoni stops the bus and parks it in front of a Television shop so that the passengers can watch IPL.

    However, fans had polarising views on the new IPL promo featuring the Chennai Super Kings skipper. 
    While some liked Dhoni's new look, others were critical of the quality of content from one of the biggest franchise leagues in the world.

    Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are the two new franchises that will be debuting in the upcoming IPL season. Much to the delight of cricket fans in the country, the 15th edition of the IPL will be played in India. 
    The BCCI has said that if the Covid cases continue to dip, fans will be allowed inside the stadiums for the IPL. The Indian board has already announced four venues for the franchise-based tournament.

    The Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss, during an interview with Swiss daily Blick, revealed that Abramovich himself offered him and three other people the chance to buy the club.

    There are so many reports doing rounds on the internet that it’s becoming increasingly hard to tell the genuine one from mere speculations. For every genuine report, there are multiple reports that make little to no sense.
    One report that has been doing rounds on social media is of a Pakistani businessman Javed Afridi, the owner of Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi, is interested in buying the West London club.
    Peshawar Zalmi's owner is interested in buying Chelsea Football Club. Minimum 30,400cr (INR) are needed to buy Chelsea. (Reported by Khaleej Times).

    Another report in Khaleej Times claimed that Afridi has already met with a sports and legal agency in the UK to plan his future course of action.
    “Afridi’s team held a meeting this afternoon (Wednesday) with a sports and legal agency in the UK. There’s a bunch of investors who are interested in Chelsea Football Club,” the source said.

    With Chelsea being one of the biggest brands in the world of football, the asking price has been reportedly set to $4 billion and that’s excluding the debt ($1.5bn) which Abramovich lent to the club in the last 19 years. Some believe that any investor or group of investors looking to buy the club will have to shell out at least $2billion, if not more.

    South actor Prabhas, who became a pan-India star post the historic success of the Baahubali series, is currently waiting for the release of his next, Radhe Shyam. Helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film stars Pooja Hegde as the leading lady and is slated to hit the theatres on March 11.

    As only a few days are left for the film's release now, Prabhas is on a promotion spree. Recently, in an interview, the actor opened up about getting intimate on screen and revealed that he generally tries to avoid such scenes. 
    Talking to Pinkvilla, Prabhas shared that he is still uncomfortable doing kissing scenes. However, he performs such scenes in case the script demands it, as he did in the case of Radhe Shyam.
    The actor, who had several bare-body scenes in the Baahubali series, also doesn't like going shirtless in front of the camera. Before shooting for such scenes, he makes sure to keep the number of people watching him on set to a minimum.

    Last seen in Saaho, Prabhas is excited for the release of his much-hyped film, Radhe Shyam. Sharing his thoughts about the movie, he stated, "It has a very interesting storyline. It's a war between love and destiny. There are going to be a lot of twists in the climax. My role Vikramaditya is a little complicated in the film but we have tried to put in a very realistic, subtle, calm, and also energetic. The visuals are never seen before, vintage, set in Europe".

    For the unversed, Radhe Shyam is set in Europe in the 1970s and revolves around Vikramaditya, a palmist, who is torn between destiny and his lady love Prerana.

    Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor has been around in Bollywood for quite some time now.

    The actor made his debut way back in 2003 with the film Ken Ghosh's Ishq Vishk along with Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasury.

    The movie was an instant hit and couldn't have been a better launchpad for Shahid, who really stamped his authority in the movies he did throughout the rest of his career.

    Now, while Shahid even won a bunch of awards for his Bollywood debut for the film including a Filmfare, Stardust, IIFA, and Zee Cine one, there was another actor who thrilled audiences that particular year.
    The star was none other than super-successful Vikram Vedha actor, Hrithik Roshan, who starred in the sci-fi Bollywood drama Koi… Mil Gaya.

    As you can remember, Koi… Mil Gaya was one of the biggest hits of the year with Hrithik and Preity Zinta's performances really connecting with the audiences, with the movie even going on to become the Krrish franchise.

    Moreover, the movie, which was said to be an adaptation to the Hollywood film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, showed Hrithik's tremendous acting ability on the screen.
    With so many movie-goers loving the movie, Shahid himself went on to watch the film of his Bollywood colleague and he had a very interesting story to tell after watching it.

    The actor revealed how he felt depressed after watching the movie. Don't worry, it's not because he didn't like the film but for some other reason altogether.
    “I remember I had just got myself a sports bike. It wasn’t your first film, it was Koi Mil Gaya. That was the film I saw. I had just debuted and I came on the bike. I kept thinking I am damn cool and just (made my) debut man. But then I saw the film and left in a rickshaw because I felt so depressed about myself as an actor.”
    Wow! Now, imagine a compliment to Hrithik better than this.

    After Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, which turned out to be a big box office success, Akshay Kumar is returning to the big screen with masala entertainer Bachchhan Paandey, a remake of the Telugu hit Jigarthanda.  
    Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Bachchhan Paandey also stars Arshad Warsi, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez.  
    The trailer of the film was released a couple of weeks back and received a good response. Later, the makers also released a couple of songs from the film.

    However, it seems Akshay Kumar fans aren’t happy with the way the makers have planned the promotions of the film. 

    Recently, they took to Twitter and expressed their disappointment by trending #ShameOnNadiadwalaGrandson”. 
    Tweeting with the specific keyword, one Akshay Kumar fan wrote, “That's why South films are overtaking Bollywood as at least they take their promotion seriously. SHAME ON NADIADWALA GRANDSON”.

    The Indian cricket team fans were absolutely startled when a random Twitter user managed to predict some very specific details about Virat Kohli’s dismissal during the first innings of the first match between India and Sri Lanka in Mohali.
    On Day 1 of Virat Kohli’s 100th international Test, the former Indian skipper was welcomed by cheers and roars by his fans in Punjab as he hopped and skipped his way to the pitch after the dismissal of opener Mayank Agarwal.

    With a well-established Hanuma Vihari already batting at the number three spot, Kohli took his time settling in. While the duo managed to score a partnership of 90 runs, the 33-year old batter contributed 45 runs to the Indian total before he was bowled out by Lasith Embuldeniya in the 44th over.
    It was a decent delivery that took Kohli by absolute surprise. The 25-year old Sri Lankan bowler delivered a fuller ball that landed around the middle stump before turning away towards the off. Knowing that it was a tricky one to play, Kohli tried defending it. However, the batter got beat as the ball gets an outside edge and knocked off the stump.
    Although the dismissal might seem to be nothing out of the ordinary, a post shared by one of the users on Twitter suddenly started catching a lot of attention by the fans for the practically supernatural level of predictions.

    Virat Kohli became the 12th Indian cricketer to scale the mountain of playing 100 Test matches. Kohli achieved the feat during the ongoing Test match between India and Sri Lanka at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. 
    Initially, the plan was to host this Test match behind closed doors but fans flooded social media with demands of making Kohli's landmark Test accessible for the crowd and the BCCI gave in as 50 per cent fans were allowed for the historic game. 
    To the delight of fans who made it to the stadium, Kohli walked out to bat in the first session itself as India lost the wickets of Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal.

Produced by Applause Entertainment and directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, Rudra is the official Hindi remake of Idris Elba's hit BBC series Luther and also features Raashi Khanna and Esha Deol opposite the Golmaal star.

    Rudra marks Devgn's comeback as a cop on screen after Gangaajal and the Singham series. In the psychological crime drama, the superstar is playing the role of DCP Rudra Veer Singh who is known for catching dreaded killers. However, he is going through a rough patch in his personal life as his relationship with wife (played by Esha Deol) is falling apart.
    As per MensXP's review, Devgn makes a 'tod-fod' OTT debut in this dark, edgy and gripping thriller. However, if you have watched Luther, the Hindi remake might not interest you much, besides the presence of the Tanhaji star, of course.
    On social media, Rudra is getting a mixed response. While the majority of social media users have appreciated Ajay Devgn and Raashi Khanna's performances, others just didn't like the final product.
