Actress Vidya Balan believes in stating facts and is afraid of no one. Back when she was shooting Kismat Konnection with Shahid Kapoor, another ‘connection’ that was building up was the rumour of the two falling for each other.

While none of them really addressed it, Shahid always maintained that it was just a friendly vibe between them and nothing else. The rumours started doing the rounds around the time Kareena and he broke up and later, when Vidya Balan appeared on Koffee With Karan with Rani, he asked her about it.
"So in this case there was no smoke or no fire?" he asked. Vidya replied , "No, no. I am not saying that there was no smoke and there wasn't fire. I am saying I am not telling you who was stoking that fire."

"You know, it's been two years since the link-up. I am fed up of the name Shahid Kapoor. I want to be linked with other men,” she replied when he asked if they broke up since Shahid moved on to another relationship.

There were later rumours of Shahid dating Tennis star Sania Mirza as well before he was spotted at Priyanka Chopra’s house and it was reported that they two were together.

The latest buzz in Ye’s world is that he was spotted with a new love interest and while onlookers were confused wondering if it's Kim herself, turns out it’s her look alike, Chaney Jones.

But what was truly tested was the drive back from Madh Island, that sleepy secluded get away .. now no longer a get away from the city .. but a get away from it, the island, seclusion now .. no more the solitude , the silent winds , the soft lashes of the sea, the freedom of movement on the beaches , with not a bird in sight .. all gone .. structures and buildings .. and commerce ..left a fairly early wind up of work by 5:30 pm and got in to Jalsa .. at 8:30 ..”

How little the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) cares about women's cricket was visible during India Women's team World Cup warm-up match against South Africa on Sunday.

There was not a single tweet from the BCCI Women's Twitter handle throughout the course of the warm-up game. The ICC as well gave a wrong update initially and showed the South African women's team as winners and later rectified their mistake.
The initial update on ICC was that the South African women's team won the match, however, later it was revealed that India won the match by two runs.
According to a screenshot taken from ICC's website by former India cricketer Snehal Pradhan, South Africa needed six runs to win in the last over and the Proteas chased down the runs despite losing two wickets.
Going into the last over with 6 to win and two set batters, Gayakwad gets a brace to create some tension. But a 2 off the last ball gives SA the win.

A good workout for both teams. India used 7 bowlers. pic.twitter.com/XMminaPQAF
    — Snehal Pradhan #MaskUp (@SnehalPradhan) February 27, 2022
Later, a correction was made that the South African team needed eight runs to win and lost the match by two runs. India batter Yastika Bhatia had tweeted the correct version of the result but later took down her tweet.
There was no update on the BCCI women's Twitter handle and that frustrated cricket fans as both BCCI and ICC failed to give the correct result of a World Cup-related game.
No Updates about the Warm-up Game of #INDWvSAW in @BCCIWomen
    .. Absolute Pathetic....#ShameOnBCCI #WakeupBCCI #WomensCricketWorldCup2022 #CricketTwitter @imfemalecricket @BCCI
    — ΛMIƬ PΛПDΣY アミット (@amitp9201) February 27, 2022Hey @BCCIWomen , how about you do this job too?
    — Ankush Goyal (@AnkushGoyal24) February 27, 2022Thank you for saying this. because @BCCIWomen is sleeping. They will wake up after world Cup https://t.co/CgF9opZpme
    — Ruplekha¹¹ (@bfbaedac2940468) February 27, 2022Even if we figure out the mystery in Bermuda Triangle we won't be able solve this mystery!!!

    Well done @ICC #CWC22 https://t.co/cr7QUeJ7m7
    — Sakshi Yendhe (@yendhe_sakshi) February 27, 2022In the match, Smriti Mandhana suffered a blow to her head and had to retire hurt. However, on Monday, the BCCI confirmed that the southpaw has been cleared to participate in the World Cup.
The biggest positive for India from the warm-up game against South Africa was that Harmanpreet Kaur returned to form just in time for the marquee event.
New Zealand bowled out for 229 against Pakistan
Australia set the West Indies 260 for victory
India post 244/9 thanks to a Harmanpreet Kaur century against South Africa

Who takes out the three #CWC22 warm-up matches? pic.twitter.com/d9zUDQuZHa
    — ICC (@ICC) February 27, 2022
Harmanpreet scored 104 runs to help India post 244 for nine. Rajeshwari Gayakwad was the pick of the bowlers for India as she finished her spell with figures of four for 46 to help India get over the line.
The BCCI was trying to assure fans that it is looking to stage a full-fledged women’s IPL next year but looking at the state of affairs, it doesn’t look like we will see women’s IPL any time soon as the top brass of the Indian board is busy promoting IPL and men’s bilateral series rather than giving updates about women’s team’s World Cup preparations.
