India are set to host Sri Lanka for a three-match T20I series, starting late February.
While the Men in Blue are currently locked in a battle with the West Indies in the shortest format of the game, a report has emerged that will not please you if you are a Virat Kohli reading this.
The former India captain is likely to be rested for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.
According to Cricbuzz, multiple sources close to Kohli have confirmed that he could miss the T20Is against Sri Lanka.

The report also revealed that all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who has been away from international cricket since November last year, is likely to make a comeback as he has completed his rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
The first game of the three-match series will be played in Ahmedabad and the rest of the couple of T20Is will be played in Dharamsala.
According to the same report, Jadeja is already under quarantine in Ahmedabad and if his Covid test results are negative, he might get picked for the series against the Lankans.

    — Cricbuzz (@cricbuzz) February 18, 2022 Virat Kohli fans were fuming at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after seeing reports that the former skipper might miss the series against Sri Lanka.

    — Rohit45 (@Kingslayer_45) February 18, 2022 Another development mentioned in Cricbuzz's report is that Rohit Sharma is set to take over Test captaincy as well. Rohit had been appointed the white-ball captain officially by the board.
Kohli has been struggling to score big runs lately. He failed with the bat in the ODI series against the West Indies as he could only manage to score 26 runs in three matches.

In the first T20I, he was looking good but perished after scoring 17 in a bid to accelerate while chasing 158.
Kohli loves to take on Sri Lankan bowling attack and if he is indeed rested for the series, he'll feel he has missed out on a golden opportunity to get back amongst the runs.

When actors Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi decided to tie the knot in 2018, they surprised and shocked other celebrities and fans in equal measure.

The wedding was apparently so private, that even some of their acquaintances and close friends didn’t know about it.
One person who was left miffed and made his displeasure obvious was cricketer Yuvraj Singh. Rumour had it that he and Neha Dhupia once dated and remained very close friends, and he was also super close to Angad Bedi.
The three were close-knit until the two got married and Yuvraj was apparently, left out of the picture.

Around Friendship Day, he took to his social media and posted a cryptic text around the same. "Just realised yesterday was friendship day! Just my take on people who I thought were friends!! After my whole year of experience happy to say I love my dogs more! You live, you learn. Anyways Happy friendship day" he wrote.

While fans thought it was directed at Angad and Neha, Angad actually confirmed this when he appeared on his wife’s podcast.
“My best friend did post an Instagram post very recently on friendship day and I read that post. Yuvi's quote was something like – just my take on people and who I thought were friends, after the experience, I would like to say I love my dogs more. Something like that, I just thought it was a bit immature. It was my fault and I say this very openly that I should've given him more time but then unfortunately for us the decision making was so sudden. He has his reasons to be upset and I really love him but if you want me to say what our relationship is right now, yes, it's not the same and I hope in due course it does get better because I miss him. He is a dear friend of mine” he said.

Well, these are human emotions and while it's natural for a friend to be put off like this, we hope they patch up and get back together.

Throughout his stellar career, former India captain Virat Kohli has been compared to batting legend Sachin Tendulkar on several occasions.
Kohli's stats and consistency at his best were so impressive that many predicted he would match, if not surpass, Tendulkar's Test and ODI records.
While Kohli has denied any parallels, claiming that Tendulkar is one of the greatest cricketers of all time and one of the reasons he began playing the game, the comparisons have remained anytime Kohli smashed a record held by the Little Master.

Tendulkar has now weighed in on the subject. He has not, however, prioritised one over the other, as is usual for the 48-year-old.

When asked which of the two of them is the best cricketer in a rapid-fire set of questions, he said to Graham Bensinger in an interview on the latter's YouTube channel, "How about having both of us in one team."
This is where Virat Kohli fans have gotten upset with the Indian legend. They feel that instead of taking the easy way out of such a debate, the ‘Master Blaster’ should have acted like the bigger person and called Kohli the better player.
While suggesting that if and when Kohli is being asked this question, he has always maintained that Tendulkar has been greater and better than him, they suggested that it is this difference between the two cricket superstars that makes the 33-year old the better pick.
If you any time ask the same question to Virat, he will definitely say Sachin. Difference. https://t.co/W208gpTwoD
    — Suhit Data (@suhit_data) February 17, 2022People saying in comments/quotes that he should say Sachin only since he is junior.
Only one answer to that is that go back and visit what he said about 19-year-old Shubman Gill. Don't forget to cry louder.
    — Suhit Data (@suhit_data) February 17, 2022Numbers say virat is the greatest ever in the all format game, many other legends would hv taken VIRAT'S name
    — Arman Khan (@CHEEKUTHEGOAT) February 17, 2022If kohli would've made such a statement,the whole media would've been on role
    — Kunal // (@kunal__singhi) February 17, 2022Yes he just can't say Virat only
    — Jitendra (@Jitendr63761289) February 17, 2022 However, Sachin Tendulkar fans quickly jumped into the discussion and started calling out Virat Kohli fans for being angry at the legend simply because he did not say what they wanted to hear.
Many even expressed that while the two players are great in their respective eras, the fact that Virat has formerly expressed that Sachin was his idol growing up, simply renders the question ineffective and ends the debate even before it starts.
Because Sachin Tendulkar is inspiration of virat not other way
    — #Gorkha #MI (@AkkiSrt) February 17, 2022The kinda expecation to expect everyone to speak the same line endorsed by self is why indian cricket twitter is such a toxic space. Wtf should sachin not say what he wants and say what you want?
    — All things cricket. (@Allthingscrick4) February 17, 2022Those who r saying virat is better or saying stuff like this difference nd all these r perfect examples of blind pans Sachin is on another level je can't be compared to anyone nd those who show numbers remember Sachin player with rules which favoured bowlers more than rules today
    — Daisy's Assistant || Saw NWH (@quakecoulson) February 17, 2022Because virat started playing cricket after watching sachin,SACHIN is the sole reason why cricket became famous in india, sachin was is and will be the GREATEST EVER.
    — Harshit (@6forty8) February 18, 2022 Kohli had previously stated that comparing the two is unfair to Tendulkar.
While talking to Gaurav Kapur in Breakfast With Champions, he had expressed that only those who are worthy of comparison may be compared. If people were comparing him to someone who inspired him to take up cricket in the first place, it does not even make sense.
Kohli said that he felt that Sachin was the most well-rounded batter in history. He added that the Mumbai legend doesn't deserve to be compared to the current generation of cricketers because of the kind of contributions he has made for Team India and cricket as a sport.

If you thought being single on Valentine’s Day hurt like a b*tch, you clearly didn’t read the latest news about Avengers: Endgame having been the last film in the franchise to ever have that kind of an iconic superhero ensemble ever. In the Marvel universe, at least.
Marvel fans, this is when you take a seat.
    © Marvel Studios
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, recently opened up about the superhit film Avengers: Endgame released back in 2019, and talked about how it wasn’t just the most successful superhero movie ever, but also managed to stay one of the highest-grossing films on the box office (for a fleeting moment).

totalfilm: Kevin Feige has hinted that Endgame really is the end https://t.co/QMTGUetnth
    — Dreya (@dreyamedia) February 18, 2022
And considering the kind of craze there has been for the Avengers films, and how personally fans took the series of events that followed in the last movie, we weren’t ready for yet another bad news.
Speaking on the Marvel Studios Assembled show, Kevin shared, “Marvel Studios and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now past their tenth anniversary and with the release of the final Avengers movie, we've finally completed a 22-movie Infinity Saga."
Maybe Kevin Feige means that Avengers Endgame is the end of an era for the Team's original members. And maybe open a new chapter for the new version of the team which are Sam Wilson, Spider-Man, Kate Bishop, etc.
    — Kota-kun||Otaku|| (@Kulturd_Perp) February 18, 2022Marvel’s Kevin Feige says Endgame was ‘final Avengers movie’, fans are in denial: ‘Deeply sad’ https://t.co/yMh7xwsEvk
    — arunachalbuzz (@arunachalbuzz) February 18, 2022@Kevfeige Kevin you said a couple years ago at Comic-Con that Avengers would still be here are you have it all out. But now you're saying plans of change and the Avengers endgame is the last Avengers movie what's up with that. As a fan all of the Avengers I am deeply sad.
    — Jeff Toth (@JeffToth17) February 18, 2022And even though a lot of us had anticipated if the Avengers would ever come together again (not that it would’ve felt complete without Iron Man), but hearing it come from Kevin, only hardened the blow.
Fans had also wondered if newer superheroes like Captain Marvel and Falcon would be able to bring together the next generation of Avengers, but it seems like it is the end of an era for Avengers in the Marvel universe.
god i hate kevin feige so bad
    — ًayu (@anothergerm) February 18, 2022Great decision by @MarvelStudios President @Kevfeige. #Avengers movie should never be made without the OG 6. pic.twitter.com/pTkvqNkACV

    — THE YEAR OF THE GOAT (@Marvelous_Jedi_) February 17, 2022While some are sad, others are in denial because no matter how obvious things had been made after Avengers: Endgame, a part of us still wanted to hope for a power-packed return.
Meanwhile, MCU’s last release was Spider-Man: No Way Home went on to bring in a business of $1.7 billion at the box office, making it one of the most successful films on a global level.
Other films that are lined up in the MCU pipeline include Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Mohammed Siraj and Virat Kohli share a great camaraderie on and off the field and the fast bowler's recent comments on the former India captain speak volumes of how Kohli is a completely different person off the field as he is when he steps foot on to a cricket ground.
Siraj took a trip down memory lane as he spoke about a party he had hosted at his house after bagging a deal with Royal Challengers Bangalore.
"I called Virat Kohli bhaiya up for a dinner at my home, he said I have a stiff back, I can't come. But Virat Bhai came & I just ran towards Virat bhaiya and hugged him. It was the best Surprise of my life."

Mohammad Siraj (To RCB podcast) pic.twitter.com/ZBhpQWYrUl
    — Karan (@CricKaran) February 18, 2022
The 27-year-old added that he had invited everyone from the RCB camp but Kohli had told him that he has got a stiff back and won't be able to come. However, the then RCB skipper showed up at Siraj's place and it was nothing but a huge surprise for the pacer.

“I had invited everyone from RCB to my house for dinner. I went home straight from the hotel. When I called him (Kohli) up, he said, ‘I have a stiff back miyan, I can’t come.’ I told him to rest. What more could I say. But, when everyone came, I saw him get off the car. Everyone was there, PP (Parthiv Patel) bhai, Chahal bhai. I just ran towards bhaiya (Kohli) and hugged him. It was the best surprise of my life because bhaiya (Kohli) had said he won’t come. It became news: Virat Kohli has come to Toli Chowki,” Siraj said on RCB's podcast.

Siraj looks up to Kohli and it was the trust that the former Indian captain showed in him that made Siraj the force that he is currently.
When Kohli decided to step down as the skipper of the Test team, Siraj had posted a heartfelt note for him, calling Virat his superhero.
    Siraj to Virat Kohli!

"Seeing the great at my worst">> pic.twitter.com/nqDnaxSQTI
    — SHOUNAK (@Shounak_72_) January 17, 2022 Under Kohli's leadership, India reached new heights in Test cricket. All the fast bowlers, be it young or the experienced ones, credit Kohli for bringing the best out of them in the longest format of the game.
Because Kohli plays his cricket wearing his heart on his sleeve, people tend to assume he is the same person off the field as well. However, the amount of respect his teammates have for him tells a different story.
