When actors Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi decided to tie the knot in 2018, they surprised and shocked other celebrities and fans in equal measure. 

The wedding was apparently so private, that even some of their acquaintances and close friends didn’t know about it.

One person who was left miffed and made his displeasure obvious was cricketer Yuvraj Singh. Rumour had it that he and Neha Dhupia once dated and remained very close friends, and he was also super close to Angad Bedi. 

The three were close-knit until the two got married and Yuvraj was apparently, left out of the picture.

Around Friendship Day, he took to his social media and posted a cryptic text around the same. "Just realised yesterday was friendship day! Just my take on people who I thought were friends!! After my whole year of experience happy to say I love my dogs more! You live, you learn. Anyways Happy friendship day" he wrote.  

While fans thought it was directed at Angad and Neha, Angad actually confirmed this when he appeared on his wife’s podcast.

“My best friend did post an Instagram post very recently on friendship day and I read that post. Yuvi's quote was something like – just my take on people and who I thought were friends, after the experience, I would like to say I love my dogs more. Something like that, I just thought it was a bit immature. It was my fault and I say this very openly that I should've given him more time but then unfortunately for us the decision making was so sudden. He has his reasons to be upset and I really love him but if you want me to say what our relationship is right now, yes, it's not the same and I hope in due course it does get better because I miss him. He is a dear friend of mine” he said.

Well, these are human emotions and while it's natural for a friend to be put off like this, we hope they patch up and get back together.
