    Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the 2017 hit Raees recently ventured into film production and released the trailer of her debut web series as a producer Baarwan Khiladi. 
    After the release of the trailer, she also conducted an “Ask Mahira” session on Twitter and answered several fan questions. 
    Amidst the multiple fan questions, there was a troll who called her a beggar and wrote, “Bhikhari (Beggar) Pakistani, focus on your country. Aatanki mulk, aatanki religion (terrorist country, terrorist religion)”.

    Mahira handled the troll head on and had a classy response. She wrote, “Betay (Son), you’re the one focusing on me now bugger off”.

    Soon, Mahira’s response garnered a lot of eyeballs on social media and the troll eventually deleted his original tweet.

    Applauding Mahira for her response, one fan tweeted, “He deleted it. You won”. Another wrote, “Negative par reply mil raha, positive par nahi, Mahira ji”.

    It is safe to say that Gujarat Titans, one of the two new franchises to enter the Indian Premier League ahead of the 2022 season, have been great at the mega auction. They bid for good players and kept track of their spending.
    Since most of the people involved in the building up of a new roster for the team have had no emotional relationships with any of the IPL players before, they have successfully managed to keep themselves detached from overbidding for players who don’t actually deserve the extra money.
    Mohammad Shami at 6.25 crores is the steal of the auction till now. He anyway guarantees a 20 wicket season.

    As a result, they were able to sign 10 players on the first day of the auction with a nice blend of household names and young and emerging talents and still had a Rs. 18.85 crore purse left to spend on the second day during the accelerated auction.
    However, over the course of the Titans building their squad, fans were quick to find a significant and hilarious pattern about the kind of players that were being picked by the new franchise. Many felt that in order to play for the Ahmedabad-based team, the players must have an unusual hairstyle.

    And this pattern starts right from the top of the team hierarchy with all-rounder Hardik Pandya (team captain) widely famous for experimenting way too much with his hair to their opening batter Shubman Gill, who recently surprised the world with his completely blond hair.
    While both Pandya and Gill were bought by the team ahead of the auction, the Titans continued this trend even during the event as they purchased England’s Jason Roy who had also bleached his hair blond while getting inspired by the English football player Phil Foden about six months ago.

    Rahul Tewatia, the former Rajasthan Royals all-rounder was also picked by them for a whopping Rs. 9 crore and even he has the reputation for unorthodox haircuts and showing up for matches and practice sessions with a random colour coated hair.
    However, one anomaly in the Titans’ bidding trend appeared to be the former Punjab Kings pacer and one of the leading bowlers of the Indian cricket team, Mohammed Shami, who is often teased and trolled on social media for hair loss. Of course, that has nothing to do with the fact that they managed to bring Shami to Ahmedabad for just Rs. 6.25 crore and it feels like one of the biggest discount purchases in the history of the league.

    A week after Lata Mangeshkar’s demise, Salman Khan took to instagram and posted a video of himself singing her iconic song Lag Ja Gale from the 1964 Hindi film Woh Kaun Thi?  
    Sharing his emotional tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, Salman wrote in the caption, “Never has been, never will be any1 like u Lataji ….”

    One comment read, “one thing i like abt him is that he is genuine, he loves Lata ji so this is straight from his heart. Bhai never fakes. He sang pretty well”.

    A few people wondered if Salman attended her funeral and wrote, “Acting aur gaana dono rehne do aap...Guess he's trying to make up for not being at the funeral...” and “Did he even go to her funeral?”

    Earlier, after Lata Mangeshkar passed away, Salman had taken to Twitter and tweeted, “U will be missed our nightingale. But ur voice shall live with us forever ... #RIPLataji”.

    Lata Mangeshkar’s funeral was held at Shivaji Park in Mumbai and was attended by celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Shankar Mahadevan. 
    On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in a special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan and the third installment of Tiger franchise. He also has Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali that will release on Eid 2023.
