Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the 2017 hit Raees recently ventured into film production and released the trailer of her debut web series as a producer Baarwan Khiladi. 

After the release of the trailer, she also conducted an “Ask Mahira” session on Twitter and answered several fan questions. 

Amidst the multiple fan questions, there was a troll who called her a beggar and wrote, “Bhikhari (Beggar) Pakistani, focus on your country. Aatanki mulk, aatanki religion (terrorist country, terrorist religion)”.

Mahira handled the troll head on and had a classy response. She wrote, “Betay (Son), you’re the one focusing on me now bugger off”.

Soon, Mahira’s response garnered a lot of eyeballs on social media and the troll eventually deleted his original tweet.

Applauding Mahira for her response, one fan tweeted, “He deleted it. You won”. Another wrote, “Negative par reply mil raha, positive par nahi, Mahira ji”.

During the AMA session, one fan shared an edit from her film Raees and asked her to watch the “masterpiece”. The actress revealed that she hadn’t watched the film since it was released five years ago. She wrote, “I really should watch it again! haven’t since it released :(”. 

One fan asked her, “@TheMahiraKhan if you've Johnny depp, Tom cruise and Leonardo dicaprio who would you kill, marry and date ? #askmahira #baarwankhiladi”. 

Mahira responded, “Oooh. I’d marry Leo. He’d finally committ :) I’d date Johnny and Tom.” 

One fan asked if she’d give him Rs 1 crore, Mahira replied, “Usama.. kaaam karo mehnat karo, crore mil jayega InshAllah”.

Mahira rose to fame with her performances in TV shows like Humsafar and films like Bol. She then made her Bollywood debut with Raees and was recently seen in the 2020 web series Churails that is streaming in India on Zee5.
