Rajkummar Rao recently posted a before-after picture on his instagram, showing off his phenomenal transformation for the movie Badhaai Do where he plays the role of a gay cop. The role of Shardul Thakur required him to put on quite a bit of muscle, which he did and how!
View this post on InstagramBeing a pure vegetarian, it wasn't easy for Rajkummar to manage his diet as putting on that much muscle requires you to include enough protein in your diet on a daily basis. However, he did stick to his diet and did not give up on consistent workouts to nail his transformation.
View this post on InstagramHowever, celebrity transformations cannot (rather, should not) be compared to the transformations that we regular folks go through, as we don't have a lot of the perks that they get to enjoy. However, does it mean that regular folks are at a disadvantage? It doesn't have to be so, not at all. Even if you are a pure vegetarian like Rajkummar Rao and can't afford expensive protein shakes, there is a great alternative which is within everyone's budget.
View this post on InstagramWe all know that paneer and other dairy items are good sources of protein, but it may be difficult to incorporate enough quantity of these items in your daily diet from the perspective of total protein dependence. Contrary to popular belief, dal is not a good source of protein as it contains more carbs than proteins in terms of its macronutrients. What then, can be considered as the best vegetarian source of protein which is also not expensive?

    via GIPHY
The answer is: Soya. Yes, soya in any form - be it chunks or granules, make for an excellent source of protein. It has about 52 grams of protein per 100 gm weight, which is way more than meat and dairy.
    via GIPHY
Soya is great for bodybuilding, and the theory about it increasing oestrogen in the body and giving rise to manboobs is mostly a myth, as that happens under extraordinary circumstances (one needs to consume kilos of soya in a day for that to happen). So, enjoy your soya bean sabji and soya paratha guilt free, as they will help you pack some serious muscle.

Ever since his resurgence with Shah Rukh Khan’s Class Of ‘83 and Prakash Jha’s Aashram, Bobby Deol, the actor, seems like a different beast altogether.
There was a time when the “star” Bobby Deol was on a downward spiral in his career until the “actor” Bobby Deol took over the reins and his career skyrocketed.

Joining hands with Shah Rukh Khan, the producer, for the second time, Bobby Deol turns into an antagonist called Dagar who is on the hunt for the star-crossed lovers played by Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra in the upcoming thriller Love Hostel.

The trailer of the film was released online and I will be honest, I am pleasantly surprised. Bobby Deol’s look, presence and dialogue delivery is top-notch. He is playing a menacing killing machine and I am loving it.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's kids Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan seem to have a keen interest in cricket, especially in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Over the weekend, the star kids were seen attending the IPL 2022 auction that was held in Bengaluru. Representing their father SRK's team Kolkata Knight Riders, they actively participated in the auction and looked confident. Various pictures and videos of Aryan and Suhana from the event went viral on the internet.

    — Crime Master GOGO (@Master_G_oGo) February 13, 2022
On Monday, the brother-sister duo got snapped at the Mumbai airport as they returned home after attending the IPL auction. While Aryan donned a casual look with his grey torn-style T-shirt and ragged pants, Suhana walked behind her brother, looking apprehensive of the photographers. She wore a black T-shirt and pants with a blue denim jacket. They even sported matching sneakers.
Viral Bhayani, a popular paparazzi, shared the airport video on his official social media account. Watch it below:

However, in the comment section, social media users trolled Aryan by taking a dig at last year's drug controversy in which the star-son got arrested. Netizens also commented about their presence at this year's IPL auction.
A user wrote, "Bag ache se check kar lena..aryan khan ka..kya pata namak wagera rakha ho sakta he". Commenting on their presence at the IPL auction, another Instagram user said, "They did a lot of hard work (laughing emoji) by sitting, smiling, posiing for camera.. husshhhh".

We wonder how Aryan or his parents would react to it. Trolling culture has taken over the internet, and celebs have become easy targets. Well, this must come to an end now.

For the unversed, Aryan was arrested in a drugs case by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) last year. During a raid on an offshore cruise ship in Mumbai, NCB had reportedly detained several prominent people including Aryan. The 24-year-old star kid was granted bail after spending over three weeks in jail.
On the Bollywood front, there is still no update about Aryan's entry while Suhana is reported to star in Zoya Akhtar's upcoming project based on Archie Comics.  However, an official announcement is still awaited.

The two-day Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction concluded in Bengaluru on Sunday.

The auction saw 204 players picked by 10 franchises as all the teams finalised their squads ahead of the 15th edition of the T20 league. Almost Rs 552 crores were spent during the mega auction by all the ten franchises combined.
While youngsters bagged huge deals, some big names failed to attract a single bid as names like Suresh Raina, Aaron Finch, Steve Smith remained unsold.
View this post on InstagramAnother name fans were expecting to see to be picked by one of the franchises, S. Sreesanth, did not go under the hammer. Sreesanth was shortlisted in the final list of the players who were set to go under the hammer.
Sreesanth, 39, had set his base price at Rs 50 lakhs but none of the ten franchises showed any interest in him as his name was not even called once by the auctioneer.
After the IPL auction snub, the Kerala pacer took to Twitter to share a video in which he can be seen singing a popular Hindi song 'Ruk Jana Nahi.'
    Watch the video here:
Always grateful and always looking forward…lots of love and respect to each and everyone of u.:”om Nama Shivaya “ pic.twitter.com/cfqUyKxtVK
    — Sreesanth (@sreesanth36) February 14, 2022
Disappointed with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the IPL, fans slammed the Indian board and urged the pacer to keep up with his 'never say die attitude' and wished him well for the upcoming Ranji Trophy season.
We already knew it, its just everyone will blame franchise but real politics are been played by @BCCI only and those two head of BCCI's.

    — 𝐂haru Sally (@mygardenoflily) February 14, 2022Hats off to your never giving up attitude. You are a fighter and achiever. Proud to be your fan. God have many many good things planned for you. I am sure you will bounce back and world and critics will watch your success. Amen

    — Shantanu (@07shantanu_) February 14, 2022All is not over for Sreesanth as six teams still have to fill in a few spots and a good outing in the upcoming Ranji Trophy season may see the pacer finally making the cut in the IPL.
After serving a seven-year suspension for his suspected role in the spot-fixing incident in IPL, Sreesanth played for Kerala in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy last year, taking four wickets.
COMEBACK TRAIL! S Sreesanth has been named in the 15-member Kerala squad for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

He did not participate in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy this year and was also missing from the Vijay Hazare Trophy tournament.
Once regarded as one of the best pacers in India, Sreesanth is 39 now and this could be his last season to prove his worth to the IPL teams.

Hyderabad all-rounder Tilak Varma went through a phase where his family could not afford cricketing gears let alone proper guidance to hone his skills.

However, he found a coach who not only groomed him but took care of his expenses.
Thanks to the help from coach Salam Bayash, Tilak Varma is now a crorepati as he secured a Rs 1.7 crore deal with Mumbai Indians on the second day of the IPL 2022 mega auction in Bengaluru on Sunday.
The 19-year-old had kept his base price at Rs 20 lakh but a bidding war between four IPL teams -- SunRisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians -- saw his stock go skyrocket as the Rohit Sharma-led franchise bagged him for Rs 1.7 crore.
    Presenting to you our Stunning Southpaw - N. Tilak Varma! #OneFamily #MumbaiIndians #AalaRe #TATAIPLAuction #IPLAuctionpic.twitter.com/1OAOM3QC71
    — Mumbai Indians (@mipaltan) February 13, 2022
The 19-year-old has played 15 T20 matches, scoring 381 runs at a staggering strike rate of 143.77. So, it will be interesting to see him take his game to the next level if he gets a chance to showcase his talent.
Varma said he was hoping that some franchise will pick him at the IPL 2022 mega auction but he never expected the price tag to break the one-crore mark.
"I was confident of playing IPL but never expected to get this price tag. It's a dream come true for me to play with a team I always loved. It will give me a perfect opportunity to learn and hone my skills, playing alongside the greats," Varma told PTI after bagging a big deal from Mumbai Indians.
Tilak Varma also emphasised his coach's role in his journey and urged the media to highlight his importance.
    View this post on Instagram
"Mere baarein mein bhale hi na likho, but coach sir ka zaroor mention karna (It's okay not to write about me but definitely do highlight Salam sir)," Varma told PTI.
When Varma's family struggled with Covid-induced financial trouble there was uncertainty over his cricketing future and that is when his coach came forward and took care of the promising cricketer and helped him to continue his cricket training.
"There was a lot of suffering and we had to cut down our expenses during the pandemic. But my coach ensured that I continued playing cricket. Hopefully, things will turn better now."
"He bought me the cricketing gears and took care of most of the expenses (at Legala Cricket Academy). So it's all because of him and my family's support I'm here," he added.
An electrician's son making it big in the biggest cricketing league in the world is an example of what makes the IPL the perfect platform for hidden talents in the country.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the most expensive team in the IPL history, managed to assemble a brilliant squad ahead of their debut season. Given the overall balance of the squad, many feel that the outfit could even challenge for the title, provided all the players play to their potential.
The Lucknow-based franchise came into the auction with a clear goal in mind. They showed a particular interest in acquiring the services of multi-dimensional players, who could affect the game with both bat and ball.
    View this post on Instagram
Having picked KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi from the IPL draft, the team owned by RPSG group, outbid others to rope in the likes of Quinton de Kock, Jason Holder, Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda, among several other star players.
View this post on InstagramWhile everyone is lavishing praise over their terrific debut in the IPL auction, there was one decision that made them a butt of jokes.
After splashing Rs 5.75 Cr to sign Deepak Hooda, who recently made his India debut, the franchise was involved in a bidding war to bring Krunal Pandya onboard. They had to part with a whopping sum of Rs 8.25 Cr to sign the former Mumbai Indians all-rounder.
View this post on InstagramUnless you were living under the rock, you would know that both Krunal and Hooda had a major fallout last year. Things became so worse that the latter decided to leave the bio-bubble with just days left before the start of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, accusing Krunal of abusing him in front of the teammates.
After the episode, Hooda decided to quit his home team and began playing for the neighbouring state of Rajasthan.
View this post on InstagramThe fans started wondering if Lucknow management sitting on the auction table had factored in this major issue before deciding to sign two players who don’t see each other eye to eye.
The micro-blogging site was filled with memes as people tried to predict the atmosphere inside the Lucknow dressing room with two these two players coming face to face.

    — SJ (@CosmoKramerr_) February 12, 2022The fans have every reason to question Lucknow’s decision-making but they must not forget that the management would have considered every aspect before going all out to sign them. No franchise would take such a huge gamble unless they are confident of making it work.
Also, it’s not the first time enemies have become friends after being signed by the same IPL outfit. The perfect example was Harbhajan Singh and Andrew Symonds, who once considered each other their biggest enemy, went along well when they came together in the Mumbai Indians dressing room.
    View this post on Instagram
If these two veterans who were involved in the infamous Monkeygate scandal could put the team’s interests above everything else, Krunal and Hooda can also do the same. They just need to keep their egos aside.
