The year 2022 will surely belong to DC as it seems they are finally on course to catch up to the box office juggernaut that is the rival Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Recently, DC took to social media and released a minute long teaser giving a never seen before glimpse at four of their highly anticipated upcoming films - The Batman, Black Adam, The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
However, the highlight of the teaser is the new footage of Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson in the titular role.

The teaser finally gave us our first look at the Justice Society of America featuring Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone and former James Bond Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate.

We also got a better look at how Dwayne Johnson will be seen as the anti-hero Black Adam.
Besides that, we saw Jason Momoa’s Aquaman in a black suit and sitting on his throne in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

The Batman footage featured a glimpse of a few seen and unseen shots.

As for The Flash, we got a better look at the new suit and also voiceover by Michael Keaton’s Batman, who is making a comeback to the iconic superhero role after 30 years.
Take a look at the teaser below:

Reacting to the teaser, one fan wrote, “#BlackAdam might seriously end up being the best film The Rock has ever made in his life.”
Another wrote, “I thought Dr. Fate in Smallville was awesome for the time but on a bigger budget and a more grand scale, I’m so pumped to see one of my favorite DC characters get his due on the big screen! #BlackAdam”.
One tweet read, “DC Heroes Unite! 2022 is going to be a banner year for DC on the big screen. Be excited! #TheBatman - March #BlackAdam - July #TheFlash - November #AquamanAndTheLostKingdom - December”.

IPL 2022 auctioneer Hugh Edmeades suddenly collapsed and fell on the ground along with the podium during the live broadcast of the mega auction in Bengaluru on February 12, 2022. Everyone present at the venue was caught by surprise followed by expressions of horror and fear clouding their faces.
    BREAKING #IPLMegaAuction2022

Britain's Hugh Edmeades faints out suddenly during live IPL Auction. Hope he is fine . pic.twitter.com/8kiLl6ACbW
    — arun sharma (@arunsharma0603) February 12, 2022
It happened during the third set of the auction when a bidding war was going on between multiple franchises for Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga. Edmedeas, as usual, was creating a sense of excitement in the air, asking the teams to continuously raise their hands and continue to add their value to the bidding war. Suddenly there was a loud thud and people at the venue started shouting in panic.
Even the cameraman was puzzled as to what had just happened. People who were watching the event live on television or online on HotStar were able to see the shocked face of Suhana Khan, the daughter of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, who was sitting at the Kolkata Knight Riders’ table
    © Twitter /MyKhel
The decision-makers sitting at the table of the Royal Challengers Bangalore were the first to see Edmedeas fall off the stage and covering their eyes and bowing their heads down in trepidation.

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, who had suffered a mild heart attack and had undergone a primary angioplasty last year in January, was also seen with his jaw half-open and in absolute terror as he stood on the stage staring at the auctioneer.

After about 10-20 seconds of complete panic, the live broadcast from Bengaluru was finally taken off the air and was replaced with the highlight footage of the IPL 2021 Final between the Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.

Unfortunately, before stopping the broadcast, the cameraman did pan to the place where Edmedeas was lying motionless as people rushed to him, unsure of how to help him. As a result, a lot of people were able to take screenshots and videos that are now all over the internet. For the sake of Edmedeas’ privacy, we request everyone to stop sharing the pictures of the incident and urge those who have already shared them, to kindly remove them.

Suresh Raina, who was once known as ‘Mr. IPL’ goes unsold in the first round of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction for an opening bid of Rs. 2 crore and fans of the league, specifically those of Chennai Super Kings, were stunned at this conclusion.
Not raising their hand for Raina on the first day of the mega auction, the reigning champions of the league from Chennai, found themselves amid a heap of angry faces. Raina was not only one of the most successful players in the league, but his relationship with the #YellowArmy also went beyond the boundary lines.

Fondly named ‘Chinna Thala’ by the supporters of the franchise, Raina spent most of his IPL career in Chennai and played a major role in bringing the last three out of four titles to the franchise.

Here’s how some of the CSK and Raina fans responded to the team’s decision about possibly cutting ties with one of their most renowned players of all time:
MR. IPL SURESH RAINA IS UNSOLD.
    — Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) February 12, 2022Raina to CSK: pic.twitter.com/28NByTqPQW
    — Abhishek Tripathi (@abhithecomic) February 12, 2022Biggest disappointment today ...!!

    Really sad !!!

    Why csk ??
    — king_forever (@YogeshS60079723) February 12, 2022Why CSK Have Not Bidded For Him ?
    — Saksham Garg (@sakshamgarg100) February 12, 2022End of an era
    — Satvik (@satvik_csk) February 12, 2022He deserves better .
    — Saksham Garg (@sakshamgarg100) February 12, 2022Having said that, Raina’s contribution to the team saw a significant downfall last season after he managed to score just 160 runs while playing in 12 matches for the MS Dhoni-led side while averaging just 17.77 runs for the season.
As CSK progressed into the playoffs, Raina was even made to sit out of the Playing XI and was replaced by a 35-year old Robin Uthappa. Although Dhoni shared that Raina was sitting out for the rest of the season because of a knee injury.
    MatchDay #CSKvsPBKS
Suresh Raina is not in playing XI again!
According to Cricbuzz, he is still not 100 percent fit. He hasn't fully recovered from knee injury. That's why Uthappa is playing instead of #Raina
Hope this is true and Raina isn't dropped
    Gd luck CSK@ImRaina pic.twitter.com/PvqVHUkBTl
    — That's Raina For You (@Thatsrainaforu) October 7, 2021However, there is still hope for Raina to make it into one of the 10 IPL franchises this season once all of the registered players go under the hammer once and the second round of the auction begins. It is during this round that franchises decide to use up the rest of their purse after they have purchased the creme de la creme of the players in the auction list.
Still, to see someone like Raina be treatest as one of the players from the “leftover” pile is a heartbreaking thing to experience, especially for his loyal fans who still feel that the man has so much to give to the game and whatever franchise he goes on to represent in the upcoming season.

However, it didn’t stay that way for long as the full song Mud Mud Ke released today and has been receiving brutal trolling from listeners on all over social media.

    Check out the song below:

The song has been choreographed by Shakti Mohan.

The 3 minute and 30 seconds song has a similar feel to it like other Tony Kakkar songs. The hook tune is catchy but the song lacks novelty.

Bought for Rs 5 crore, one of the first players to be bought at the Indian Premier League 2022 mega auction was Ravichandran Ashwin who will be representing Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming season.
A dynamic player with a plethora of bowling variations under his sleeve, Ashwin is always a good buy for any team, especially with the kind of form he has been showing with the ball across red and white-ball cricket and his prestigious heritage within the Indian T20 league.
As soon as the 35-year-old cricketer went under the hammer, the Royals shared a post from their social media handle, welcoming the Chennai-born into their rebuilding family with the hopes of winning their first IPL trophy since the very first season in 2008.
    Never in any doubt. #AshIsARoyal | #RoyalsFamily | #TATAIPLAuction pic.twitter.com/KqHA21W4At
    — Rajasthan Royals (@rajasthanroyals) February 12, 2022
While most of the Royals fans were ready to welcome the man with open arms, some of the people went back a couple of years and relived one of the more controversial Ashwin moments from the league and started “congratulating” England cricketer Jos Buttler.

Finally Jos bhai can leave non strikers end now

    — Sushobhan biswas (@Taranipur) February 12, 2022Intresting to see first encounter of Ash and Jos now as teammates
    — Prakhar Sharma (@Xaar89707250) February 12, 2022Buttler, who was retained by Rajasthan, and is looking to lead the franchise into the upcoming season as their vice-captain, shared a rather unpleasant experience with Ashwin back in 2019 when he was playing for Kings XI Punjab (now, Punjab Kings) and had ‘Mankaded’ the Englishman, making him return to the pavilion for stepping out of his crease while at the non-striker’s end.
With a defeat looming, KXIP appeared to be keen to get Buttler out. They used spinners, pacers, and even a few googlies against the Englishman, but he seemed unfazed. This is when Ashwin made the unimaginable decision. When Buttler was out of the crease in the 13th over, Ashwin paused halfway through his bowling routine, turned around, and whacked the bails straight off the stumps next to him.
    Ravi Ashwin pic.twitter.com/iSEXxOmlQa
    — CRICKET VIDEOS (@AbdullahNeaz) February 12, 2022
After being 'Mankaded', Buttler had to leave the pitch when Ashwin appealed to the officials and the decision was left in the hands of the third umpire who had to declare him out.
The whole issue went out of control in the coming days as Buttler’s English teammate James Anderson shared a video on the internet in which he was shredding Ashwin’s pictures using a paper shredder. On the other hand, the Indian bowler maintained that he did nothing wrong and was well within his rights to dismiss Buttler the way he did.

Now that Ashwin is in the same team as Buttler, the latter can step out of the crease as much as he wants without the fear of getting ‘Mankaded’ again!
