    Anushka Sharma is blissfully married to cricketer Virat Kohli, and Ranveer Singh is enjoying his marital life with ladylove Deepika Padukone. But, the two were reportedly dating each and they have worked in three films together- Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Dil Dhadakne Do.

Back in the day, Anushka and Ranveer also appeared on Karan Johar's chat show. Despite denying being in a relationship with each other, it was clear that the two were dating.Β Β 
    According to Zoom Entertainment, back in 2011, a report by Hindustan Times had claimed that Ranveer is a possessive boyfriend and didn’t like that a flirtatious fan walked up to Anushka to declare that he had a crush on her.Β 
    As per the report, a source said, "This guy walked up to Anushka and told her that he had a crush on her when he saw Rab Ne…. She took it in the right spirit and jokingly asked if he still had a crush on her. The guy hesitantly admitted that he did. Though Anushka was enjoying the chat, Ranveer, sitting beside her, got really angry. He told the guy, 'Mind your language. She is my girlfriend. I will break your nose'."
    There was no official confirmation about this spat as Ranveer’s manager denied it and called it baseless rumours.Β Β 
    As per a report in India Today, Ranveer mentioned in an old interview that a distance had grown between them, and they had stopped talking to each other like before. He also admitted that he missed her. "Yes. I miss her tremendously. She is full of love. Too many people have misunderstood her. Too many people just don't get where she is coming from and the kind of person that she is.”  

    "She is one of the purest and honest people I have ever met. It's a big thing to say therefore it may sound to the reader like an exaggeration. Honestly, I've met few people who have nothing but purity in their heart and soul. I get angry when I read negative articles about her. It infuriates me more than my own negative articles,” he added.Β 
    The two have let bygones be bygones and proved that exes can be cordial with each other and be friends.Β Β 

    In fact, Anushka was one of the first Bollywood celebrities to wish Ranveer and Deepika on their wedding." She said, "Wishing you both a world of happiness and a beautiful journey together. May the love & respect you have in each other, grow leaps and bounds. And welcome to the club.” Interestingly, she also attended their wedding reception in Mumbai.Β 
    On the work front, Anushka and Ranveer were last seen together in 2015 film Dil Dhadakne Do.

    Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is truly the king of hearts!

    We have grown up watching him in his movies with his arms outstretched in his signature pose that showcases all the love he's got for everyone.

    However, it's also a thing in real life as he's known to be one person who cares deeply about his fans.

    If you've been keeping up with all news related to SRK, you'd know an incident in the not-so-recent past, when an SRK fan from Egypt helped an Indian professor with an urgent booking of tickets without even taking an advance payment.
    The Egyptian SRK Fan had then said that he did it because the Indian lady, Ashwini Deshpande, an Economics professor at the Ashoka University, came from the land of Shah Rukh Khan.
    Β "Needed to transfer money to a travel agent in Egypt. Was having problems with the transfer. He said: you are from the country of @iamsrk. I trust you. I will make the booking, you pay me later. For anywhere else, I wouldn't do this. But anything for @iamsrk. And he did! #SRK is (crown emoji) (sic)." Ashwini had shared on Twitter.

    The whole incident soon went viral on social media with many sharing the beautiful story.
    Now, Ashwini just revealed that following the incident, King Khan has actually gotten in touch with both of them to send them gifts.
    Wow! That truly shows how much SRK cares for his fans!
    Ashwini revealed how she actually ended up going to Egypt with her husband and met the Egyptian travel agent, and how he had a wish that only SRK could fulfil.
    "My husband & I finally met the man in this story today! I told him about the tsunami of good cheer his story generated. @RedChilliesEnt : he would be delighted with a photo of @iamsrk, autographed in his daughter’s name if possible. Please DM me if this can be arranged, thanks! (sic)."

    Soon after the tweet, the message reached SRK, who, without hesitating, reached out to both Ashwini and the Egyptian fan, and sent them signed photos along with gifts.
    Later, the Indian professor revealed how SRK's gesture brought a 'very happy ending' to the story.
    "A very happy ending to this story. 3 photos signed by SRK arrived today, one with the nicest message for the Egyptian travel agent, one for his daughter & one for mine @Ketaki_Varma Thanks @pooja_dadlani for getting in touch & of course to @iamsrk for the gracious gesture (sic)." she tweeted.

    Ahead of the third ODI between India and South Africa, former Indian cricket captain and commentator, Sunil Gavaskar has opened up about his thoughts on the veteran Indian bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar and how his time with the Men in Blue might be coming to an end soon.
    31-year-old Kumar has struggled in the first two One-Day Internationals against South Africa at Boland Park in Paarl. He hasn't posed much of a threat to the Protea batters and has also remained wicketless.Β

    Gavaskar feels that the scouting reports that international teams have been reading and analysing on each of these international players can lead to a loss in impact for the bowlers and hence it is extremely important for the bowlers to continue to reinvent themselves and stay unpredictable.
    The Little Master’s reason for backing Chahar as Kumar replacement are multifold. Firstly, the two bowlers have a very similar bowling style and depend on swinging the ball heavily in order to have an impact on the match.Β 

    Furthermore, the 29-year-old has shown a lot of potential as a batter as well while putting up some decent numbers. His match-defining half-century against Sri Lanka in the second ODI in the second half of 2021 also created a great image around his batting abilities in the minds of Indian cricket fans.

    With Marvel singlehandedly stamping their monopoly over the superhero movies market in the recent future, Warner Bros are looking to give DC the best chance to get some of the shares back where it belongs.

    They are doing just that with the release of the much-anticipated Batman film starring Robert Pattinson.

    Now, it has already been reported that the new Batman film, directed by Matt Reeves, will be very different from the previous films.

    It is said to be a lot darker in terms of the plot and in the context of Robert Pattinson's Dark Knight, who in the previous trailers, has already looked to someone who will beat the life out of his enemies without holding back.

    Now, Reeves has given us some more interesting information about the film, which is likely to keep you at the edge of your seats, as and when the movie finally gets released.
    According to Reeves, the new Batman film is 'almost a horror movie'.
    The movie stars Robert as Batman,Β  ZoΓ« Kravitz as Selina Kyle or Catwoman, and Paul Dano as The Riddler.
    Now, Reeves has revealed that the character of The Riddler in the film is actually based on the real-life Zodiac killer.

    β€œThe premise of the movie is that the Riddler is kind of moulded in an almost Zodiac Killer sort of mode and is killing very prominent figures in Gotham, and they are the pillars of society. These are supposedly legitimate figures. It begins with the mayor, and then it escalates from there.” said Reeves.

    Now, for all those who are unfamiliar with who the Zodiac Killer was, it was actually the pseudonym of a serial killer who operated in Northern California, United States in the late 1960s.

    The unidentified serial killer was believed to have murdered at least five people in between the period of 1968 and 1969.

    The Hollywood film Zodiac (2007) starring Marvel movie actors Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, and Jake Gyllenhaal, was one of the movies actually based on the real-life case.

    In Matt Reeves Batman, Paul Dano's The Riddler, who is a serial killer is seen giving nemesis Robert Pattinson's Batman an intricate puzzle to solve in order to save Gotham city and its citizens.

    β€œIn the wake of the murders, [The Riddler] reveals the ways in which these people were not everything they said they were, and you start to realize there’s some kind of association. And so just like Woodward and Bernstein, you’ve got Gordon and Batman trying to follow the clues to try and make sense of this thing in a classic kind-of-detective story way.
    β€œThis idea of a place that is corrupt, and you try to swim against the tide in order to fight against it and make a difference, is quintessential Batman. At the centre of those noir stories is almost always the detective, right? And that’s why he is the world’s greatest detective. And so, this story is, in addition to being almost a horror movie, and a thriller, and an action movie, at its core, it’s also very much a detective story. It’s very narrative.” said Reeves.
    Interestingly, Reeves has also revealed that Robert's Batman is also based on Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain.
    Very interesting! I guess we'll only know more about the plot once we get a chance to watch it when it releases in March of this year.

    In a recent interview with Dainik Jagran, former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar discussed what he would do if he were Virat Kohli and shared his thoughts on the captaincy debacle.Β 
    He said that Kohli, who resigned as India's Test captain after seven years in charge, was compelled to stand down and that if he had been in Virat's shoes, he would never have gotten married in the first place.
    β€œI would have not even married if I were in his place. I had just scored runs and enjoyed cricket, these 10-12 years of cricket are different time and doesn't come again, I am not saying getting married is wrong but If you are playing for India, you would have enjoyed a time a little. fans are crazy about Kohli and he had to maintain that love he is getting for the last 20 years,” Akhtar said.

    He added how things like marriage, children and family create a lot of stress and pressure on a cricketer and his responsibilities increase with time, especially when a cricketer’s career spans between 14-15 years.
    β€œThere is pressure from the children, of the family. As the responsibility increases, so does the pressure. Cricketers have a short career span of 14-15 years in which you stay at the peak for five-six years. Those years of Virat have passed, now he has to struggle," he adds.

    Akhtar also made some controversial comments about the Kohli-Ganguly issue and let’s just say that most of the Indian cricket fans were not happy with it.

    They said that the former Pakistani cricketer simply wanted to feel relevant and therefore continued to talk about old issues that don’t matter anymore. As a result, they branded him as a β€œstat-padder” who wishes to find some clout out of talking about Virat Kohli.

    South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi managed to turn a lot of heads by uploading a tweet comforting Indian batter Rishabh Pant after taking his wicket in the second ODI in Paarl.Β 
    In the picture, the 31-year old spinner shared, he could be seen keeping a hand on Pant’s shoulder as the latter walked back to the pavilion after getting dismissed.
    However, it was the caption of the picture that Shamsi wrote that got the Indian cricket fans all buzzed up about the brewing rivalry between the two International athletes. β€œWork hard... play hard.... but never cross the line,” he wrote with hashtags #Respect and #SpiritOfCricket.

But these are new ones (post the 2000s) with a new age star cast we bet all of you have heard about and even watched.Β

    1. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety
    Why is a movie about love, friendship and betrayal named after the three main characters? Just like the plotline, the title too gets a bit too complicated and weird.Β 
    We are sure no one has been able to say the tongue twister title in one go.Β Β 
    2. Luv Shuv Tey Chicken KhuranaΒ 
    Remember when this movie was released and we just couldn’t figure out what the movie was about? It’s because of its confusing title.Β 
    We wondered if Chicken Khurana was a person but in fact, it was a chicken recipe by someone named Khurana. Weirded us out.Β 
    3. Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola
    For anyone who has watched this movie, please explain why it’s titled this? We expected better from a brilliant star cast including Anushka Sharma and Pankaj Tripathi.Β Β 
    4. U Me Aur Hum
    This has been the most nonsensical title in Bollywood and seems like it was coined by a first grader.Β 
    Even if we ignore the fact that it doesn’t go with the plot, we cannot forget the messed-up English and how they use β€˜U’ instead of β€˜You’ and no punctuation.Β 
    Did they finalise whatever they were sent over text?
    5. Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo DeewanaΒ 
    I can imagine the makers high-fiving each other with pride for coming up with such a funny and relatable title for their movie but I hate to break it to them, no one got the reference OR found it funny. We just found it repelling and cringeworthy.Β  Β 
    6. Ki & Ka
    The movie was one of a kind which demonstrated that men could choose to be househusbands too without their masculinity being threatened.Β 
    However, for a powerful message on a gender stereotype, the title could be anything else but Ki & Ka which sounds like they are some alien’s names.Β Β
