Whoever said sequels to the original first movies were a bad idea, clearly did not live in the generation of the blockbuster superhero movies that are coming out now.
I mean, look at The Dark Knight in the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy, or even the Avengers movies, where Endgame all but beat all the previous movies in competition.

You won't even have to go that far in the past with Tom Holland's Spider-Man: No Way Home being another such movie that just lived on to be better than its previous films.

Going by that trend, another such sequel that has been creating a buzz around fans is the upcoming Dr. Strange 2: Multiverse Of Madness film starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

The Multiverse film is making all the noise right now for rumours around it that suggest it will see the return of some amazing superhero characters like Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, Fantastic Four's Mister Fantastic, and others.

Now, while these are some old faces that fans would love to see return, there is also a very exciting rumour of there being a new face in the Marvel franchise.

Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise as Marvel's new Iron Man!
    View this post on Instagram
Yep! Ever since the rumours started that Tom Cruise has been chosen to play Iron Man, it has been leaving fans divided on social media, which is all down to their love for Robert Downey Jr. as the OG Iron Man.
According to reports, Tom's Iron Man or Variant Tony Stark will be very different from Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man, with Moth Culture suggesting that he would be an 'outcast' or 'control freak' of sorts.

RUMOR: (Iron Man) controls the Iron Legion, having effectively put a suit of armor around the world. He wears the helmet most of the time, but lifts it for the reveal. He is a bit deranged & an outcast among the illuminati for his obsessive, controlling nature. pic.twitter.com/naoQsK04hv

We obviously have been taking the rumours with a pinch of salt as Marvel has not confirmed anything, so far. However, like what happened with Spider-Man: No Way Home with respect to the leaked photos of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Men, there is another leaked photo that all but confirms Tom Cruise as the new Iron Man.
Here. Take a look for yourself!
(Rumor) Possibly the first image of Tom Cruise on set #DoctorStrange2 in (Motion Capture) for his Iron Man pic.twitter.com/nlvjj7sBAm
    — Moth Culture (@Moth_Culture) January 18, 2022This one is a bit more extensive, moth, were you able to get any wider ones? I like to find hidden details. The yellow hand is the key to finding out if it's real. I think it could be real and take it with a grain of salt. #MultiverseOfMadness #DoctorStrangeMultiverseOfMadness pic.twitter.com/CL7Lh4jiaJ
    — GMG (@GabiMG_News) January 18, 2022 Phew!
Wow! To us that looks like the beard style sported by the one and only Tony Stark.
    © Marvel Studios
The beard style is actually called an Anchor Beard, which after Robert Downey sporting it, is most popularly known as the Iron Man beard now.

Now, with Tom Cruise suddenly looking to grow a beard that looks just like the Iron Man one, is too big a coincidence, don't you think?
Other than that, the leaked picture also shows Cruise wearing a motion-capture suit, which again points to the fact that he may actually play a variant of Tony Stark or Iron Man.
Honestly, to me, this looks exciting AF!

A while ago, there were rumours floating about of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas apparently having trouble in their paradise. But they have put all the rumours to rest as they welcomed a baby through surrogacy, a piece of news that has left fans gushing with joy.
    View this post on Instagram
The couple took to social media to share the happy news with their fans and well-wishers.
Their post read, "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."
    View this post on Instagram
Well, she wasn’t really joking when she said 'Nick and I are expecting' earlier! While roasting Nick Jonas during the Netflix special, PeeCee made this announcement leaving the former stunned.
“If you don’t know, we are the only couple who doesn’t have kids yet. Which is why I’m excited to make this announcement. Sorry babe. Nick and I are expecting… to get drunk tonight and to sleep in tomorrow," said Priyanka. She did drop a hint probably.
While fans and celebs flooded social media with happy messages and blessings for the couple as they welcomed their first child, there was also a section of people who trolled the actress for opting for surrogacy.
It is purely regressive to have such a stream of thought particularly in 2022! What a woman chooses to do with her life and her body is completely up to her and no one can have a say in that.
Also, what some trolls seem to be conveniently forgetting is that there are several other Bollywood celebs who have already made a statement by opting for surrogacy and were showered with love and support from fans.
Here’s a list of Bollywood celebs who embraced parenthood via surrogacy:
    1. Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra   View this post on Instagram
Shilpa Shetty announced the birth of her second child, a baby girl named Samisha, in 2020, who was born through surrogacy.
Talking about how she always wanted a sibling for her son, Shilpa had told Pinkvilla, “After Viaan, I did want to have another child for the longest time. But I suffered from an autoimmune disease called APLA and that came into play every time I got pregnant. So I had a couple of miscarriages so it was a genuine issue.”
Shilpa explained that she also tried adoption. “I didn’t want Viaan to grow up as a single child, because I’m also one of two and I know how important it is to have a sibling. Coming from that thought, I did explore other ideas as well but that didn’t pan out well. At a time when I wanted to adopt, I had put in my name and everything was underway. But then, the Christian missionary shut down because they had a tiff with Kara. I waited for nearly four years and then, I was so irritated and we decided to try the surrogacy route,” Shilpa revealed.
    2. Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough  View this post on Instagram
Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough became parents to twins--son Jai and daughter Gia-- through surrogacy.
Preity had shared a post on Instagram featuring herself and Gene where she had captioned the post saying, "Hi everyone, I wanted to share our amazing news with all of you today. Gene and I are overjoyed and our hearts are filled with so much gratitude and with so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family."
Preity had also added, "We are very excited about this new phase in our lives. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and to our surrogate for being part of this incredible journey. Loads of love and light - Gene, Preity, Jai and Gia #gratitude#family #twins #ting."
    3. Sunny Leone And Daniel Weber  View this post on Instagram
It was in 2018 that Sunny Leone took to Instagram to announce that she is a proud mother of two more kids via surrogacy – Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber. Sunny also shared a family photo.
Along with the first photo of her three kids, Sunny wrote, “God’s Plan!! June 21st, 2017 was the day @dirrty99 and I found out that we might possibly be having 3children within a short amount of time. We planned and tried to have a family and after so many years our family is now complete with Asher Singh Weber, Noah Singh Weber and Nisha Kaur Weber. Our boys were born a few weeks ago but were alive in our hearts and eyes for many years. God planned something so special for us and gave us a large family. We are both the proud parents of three beautiful children. Surprise everyone!”
Sunny had also tweeted, “Just so there is no confusion Asher and Noah are our biological children. We chose surrogacy to complete our family many years ago and it’s now finally complete :) so happy!”
    4. Ekta Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor Six years ago, Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor surprised many people who thought a single man cannot be a father and shattered myths around surrogacy.
    View this post on Instagram
He took the bold step and opted for surrogacy using in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Moreover, he is unmarried, and in no time, the news of him having a kid through surrogacy spread like wildfire. Many questioned the movie and there were others who supported him for his decision.
In an interview with MensXP, he told us, “I was a bit apprehensive as I was thinking about how Indian men would react to this. Maybe there were a few people who had opinions about it, but they troll even the most respected people of the nation. I didn’t really bother about that section of people. I explained the process to people and there are many people who are single parents. You see single parents all over and it’s usual. It’s just I did that in a different manner which surprised people but there’s a first to every new thing. They were shocked but after a few days, it all turned to normalcy.”

His sister Ekta Kapoor too followed this route and welcomed a baby boy in 2019.
    5. Karan Johar   View this post on Instagram
Karan Johar became a proud father to twins - Yash and Roohi Johar after the director-producer opted for surrogacy. The twins were born on February 7, 2017.
The name Roohi is a rearrangement of Karan’s mother’s name Hiroo and his son Yash has been named after his late father Yash Johar.
    6. Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan  View this post on Instagram
Shah Rukh Khan, wife Gauri Khan welcomed their third child AbRam Khan via surrogacy in 2013.
In a throwback interview on Aap Ki Adalat, Shah Rukh Khan had spoken about the two syllables in son AbRam’s name.
He has shared, “His name is based on a variation of Prophet Ibrahim. And I liked the connotation that it’s kind of a secular name. We are a Hindu-Muslim family so to say, and I want my children to grow up without any difference of opinion in the name. It’s nice this way and has more universal appeal.. It sounds very nice with the name of Hindu god Ram in it.”
    7. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao  View this post on Instagram
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao took everyone by surprise after they made an announcement about their son’s birth in 2011. The couple admitted that they struggled to have a baby for a long time.
Aamir came forward and revealed that Kiran and he had conceived a baby through IVF surrogacy.
It’s high time we normalize surrogacy and not judge the celebs who have opted for it.

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has reacted to the various media reports about his plan to present the former Indian captain Virat Kohli with a show-cause notice after his controversial press conference before the Indian cricket team had left for South Africa in 2021.
In a conversation with ANI, Ganguly has declined these reports straight away and has said that he had no intention of doing anything of the kind to Kohli before the tour of South Africa began.
Sourav Ganguly said, "there are reports going of me wanting to issue a show-cause notice to Virat Kohli before the South African tour which are not true". (To ANI).
    — Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) January 21, 2022
The problem here is that most of the fans of the Indian cricket team have refused to believe whatever Ganguly has had to say in his defence, especially, after Kohli had openly contradicted his statements and practically called him a liar in front of multiple media journalists during the infamous press conference.

Dadha lost all his respect in this game, dadha has '0'haters before this issue but now ...it's except rohith fans..

    — krishna mohan (@KRISHNAMOHAM) January 21, 2022Shut up@you Ganguly
    — Rahul Zahid Kureshi (@rahulkureshi) January 21, 2022 Just a day after being stripped as the captain of the Indian squad in ODIs, Kohli had spoken about the time when he wanted to step down as the T20I captain of the Men in Blue and how everyone in the BCCI was absolutely fine and supportive of his decision.
However, these words that came out of Kohli’s mouth were in direct contradiction with what Ganguly had said mere days before Kohli’s conference.
Dada had categorically mentioned that he had asked Kohli to rethink his decision to quit his captaincy in the shortest format of the game. He further clarified that Kohli’s removal as ODI captain was only confirmed after he had quit the T20I captaincy because the Indian cricket board were not willing to have two white-ball captains in Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
    View this post on Instagram
Even though Kohli has not spoken about this issue ever since the conference, Ganguly has been bombarded with questions about the conflict in practically every event that he has been a part of. Just a few days after the conference, Dada was asked how he felt about Kohli and he simply ended the discussion by saying that he liked Kohli’s attitude but he “fights a lot these days”.
As a batter, Kohli had an incredible start to his ODI stint after being dethroned as the skipper as he collated 51 runs in the first match while trying to help his side win the match. However, things quickly became not so good for him after he got out on a duck within five deliveries during the second ODI in Paarl.

Indian kids are not used to the privacy their NRI or firangi friends enjoy. We have grown up in a home where even keeping the doors of your room shut (if you have a room of your own, that is) irks desi parents.
We have been conditioned to share every little thing with them, except our love life and how we got drunk or high in college, of course.
    © Dharma Productions
However, as you grow up, you realise there are some things that are okay to not share with your parents for your own mental peace and theirs too.

These are some basic personal details that we feel obliged to tell them and regret later. However, it’s okay for them to not know.
    © Yash Raj Films
Well, here are 4 such things you can stop feeling guilty about hiding from your parents:

    1. Your Salary © Dharma Productions
It’s okay to not share details of your financial situation including your annual package, how much money you have saved up and where you have (or not) invested.

It would keep the nosy relatives out the way and save your parents from worrying about you. If you have everything figured out and are supporting your parents, you can hide the real numbers and actual details.
    2. Your Parenting Techniques © Dharma Productions
Everyone’s parenting style is different and not better than the other.

While your parents did the best they could while bringing you up, it’s not necessary that their approach would work with your kids too.
And, it’s okay to have different styles to manage the kids and not share every last detail with your parents.
    3. When You Want To Change Careers © Yash Raj Films
Career discussions lead to disputes and arguments and most of the time, it doesn’t reap any results.

Quitting a job to pursue a career of your choice may not make sense for your parents at first so it won’t be wrong to hide from them for a while.
You can always reach out to them for support but if you think they won’t understand your decision to switch, it won’t make you the bad guy for hiding from them until you make it work.
    4. Your Friends’/Girlfriend’s Secrets © Dharma Productions
Blood is thicker than water. Sure. However, telling your parents that your friend eloped to get married or that your girlfriend doesn’t like your Pammi maasi is only going to let them down in your parent’s eyes.

Moreover, their secrets are something they told you in confidence and it won’t be right to blurt it out to your parents.

The Indian cricket team lost the first two of the three matches of the ODI series against South Africa and with that, the hopes of winning the contest have gone out the window for the Men in Blue. As a result, skipper KL Rahul has been facing a lot of criticism for lacking the leadership qualities to run the squad in international matches.
During India’s stay in South Africa, Rahul has been acted as the team captain for three matches. The second Test and the two ODI matches in Paarl and in all three of those games, the Indian squad has lost.
    View this post on Instagram
Even though he has been decent as a batter, his choices as captain have left the critics scratching their heads.
For instance, making the all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer have his debut in the first ODI but not letting him bowl even a single over or not making any changes in the team ahead of the second match even though it was clear as day that things didn’t work out in the first match.
Under such circumstances, the owner of the unnamed Lucknow franchise in the Indian Premier League addressed the fans and said that he was “pretty much impressed” with KL Rahul’s captaincy.
Lucknow owner said, "I'm pretty much impressed with KL Rahul's leadership skills".
    — Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) January 21, 2022
Obviously, it was clear that the owner said so because they recently bought KL Rahul and announced that he will be leading the squad during the 2022 season of the tournament.
However, Indian cricket fans went on Twitter to ask whether he was serious about being impressed with Rahul’s leadership or was it more of a “saving-face” activity:
The timing of the announcement is so bad.
    — Saransh (@CricSaransh) January 21, 2022Kl's reaction to this pic.twitter.com/wr34iyqlBi
    — Destroyer (@Destroy21627138) January 21, 2022Kaunse kl rahul ki baat kar rahe ho bhai
    — Mehran मेहरान (@mehranzaidi) January 21, 2022That owner must really check his eyes then
    — Surya (@Surya_One8) January 21, 2022Kindly someone tell him that what he's watching is not cricket
    — (@Rohit_GOAT264) January 21, 2022 Rahul is also infamous for captaining the Punjab Kings for the past four seasons but failing to make it into the playoffs even once. While there are a lot of issues with the Punjab franchise and Rahul may have gotten away after not showing results as a leader, his problems as the Team India skipper are beginning to show and people are already losing confidence in him.
KL Rahul and Co. will be playing the third and final match of the series on January 23 in Cape Town, even though its outcome will not change the fact that the Proteas have already won the series.
