Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh will always be rememberedΒ as one of the many talented stars who carved his way in the film business despite being an outsider.
After his untimely demise in 2020, Sushant left a lot of possessions behind that was included in his net worth of around Rs 59 Crores.
Here are a few of his cherished possessions that perfectly show his love of machines and space:

In a spectacular achievement, Sushant actually ended up buying land for himself on the moon.

The actor was very enthusiastic about space and astronomy, which led to him buying land on it. According to reports, SSR purchased the land from the International Lunar Lands Registry back in 2018.
The land was bought on the blind side of the moon from earth and made him the first person in Bollywood to do that.
    2. Maserati Quattroporte (Rs. 1.5 Crores) Β© Instagram/SSR
Sushant was very fond of cars and reportedly added a Maserati Quattroporte car to his garage.

Purchased at a price of Rs. 1.5 Crores back in 2017, the car can go from 0-100 in seconds.
Sushant had shared a photo of the car on social media, after which he wrote, β€œI’ve been playing with the miniature model of this car since I was a kid. It was about time to own the beast”.
    3. A BMW Bike (Rs. 22 Lakh) Β© BMW
Sushant added a swanky bike to his overall possessions as well, with the bike being none other than the BMW K1300R.

The bike, priced around Rs 22 Lakhs is reported to be powered by a water-cooled 4-stroke in-line four-cylinder, 4-valve-per cylinder, 1293cc engine that can produce power of 173bhp at 9,250rpm and 140Nm of peak torque at 8,250rpm.
In layman terms, this means that the bike can go superfast, superquick.

Sushant bought the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque car for around Rs. 60 lakhs, with the car having the same registration number as his Maserati, '4747'.

We already know how crazy Sushant was about space exploration, which is why he actually ended up buying a Meade 16 LX600 telescope that cost him around Rs. 50 lakhs.

Shakun Batra's Gehraiyaan, starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa, is one of the most awaited movies and has been in the news since its inception. As the makers dropped the trailer, people were impressed with how the filmmaker has decided to decode the millennial language.Β
Deepika plays Alisha, who is in a relationship with Dhairya’s character. Ananya plays her cousin, who is engaged to Siddhant’s character. But relationships get complicated when Deepika and Siddhant’s characters start falling for each other. In the end, they even asked a rather important question if they are messed up people. For those people who saw the trailer have been calling it a tale of modern love that has its own darkness.Β
    Here’s the trailer:Β

Some people on social media are not happy with the trailer as they think the movie will land up glorifying infidelity and will promote cheating.Β Β
    Here are the reactions:Β Β

We totally loved the trailer and have a feeling it’s more than what people are perceiving of it. We would suggest to watch it before making a perception.Β Β
Deepika did talk about the intimate scenes and gave us an idea that it’s way more than just infidelity in the movie. Talking about the intimate scenes, she said, β€œI don’t think it would be possible without the comfort that he (Shakun) has given all of us. You feel you are working in an extremely safe and secure environment because intimacy is not easy. It is not something that we have ever experienced or explored in Indian cinema before, in the way we have in this film. So, to go down that route of intimacy, of vulnerability, is only possible when you know that the director is not doing it for the eyeballs, but he is doing it because that’s just where the characters are coming from, through their journey and their experiences.”

She said, β€œAll I can say is that I have not done something like this before. I have done films and a lot of characters that are love stories or relationships dramas. I want to say that my character in Gehraiyaan is bold. I also don’t want to say bold because (of) the way we understood bold in our films and the characters that we’ve seen. So, I’d say raw. I think, for me, this character is a lot more raw and a lot more real than some of the other characters that I have played. Emotionally, it is completely stripped and naked in that sense, and completely vulnerable. I think to be able to do that on screen, it has to come from a very deep place. It is not to say that I haven’t experienced that before. But, not to this extent, where I have to really dig deep and go to the places that aren’t really that pleasant, and are not really pleasant experiences from my own life, as well as dealing with mental health issues.”

Here’s the link to the full press conference:Β Β

Her statements do suggest there is a lot more than meets the eye!Β
Karan Johar also added, β€œAt the face of it you might think it is a film about infidelity-based relationships but it is not just that. It is talking about so much more, choices and consequences of so much more.”
He went on to add, β€œIt is a film that you have not seen. It is a film about the power of love, lust and longing by the millennials and how they react to love, lust and longing and how it is about the choices that they can make. Sometimes lust takes precedence over love, sometimes love takes the bashing for its innocence.”

Expressing his point of view, Shakun said, β€œIn those films what always used to happen is we used to talk about finding a soul mate and then call it infidelity. I don’t think love stories or relationships happen like that. It is not infidelity under the garb of finding the one or finding the true love. We are trying to understand and explore relationships that are outside the conventional boundaries. In today’s time how relationships unravel today, it is people looking at love differently, it is not always finding the one but what you feel in the moment.”
In our opinion, the movie is addressing the chaos we have within us and the choices we make. People judged Sara Ali Khan's Atrangi Re and bashed her and Akshay Kumar for romancing each other but their story was altogether different. It’s probably better to watch the movie before you judge it!Β Β
Originally scheduled to release at the end of January, Gehraiyaan was pushed by some days. It is Dharma’s second major release on Prime Video, following last year’s successful war drama Shershaah, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. It will now release on February 11.Β

If you thought moral and fashion policing only happens to women in India, you are highly mistaken. Some men go through the same thing, at least regularly even if not on a daily basis.Β Β
From a common man being denied entry at a bank for wearing shortsΒ to an athlete being trolled for wearing cargo pantsΒ for his meeting with the Indian Army officials, men too are shamed for their attire.Β
    Β© iStock
The recent incident shared by a Bengaluru techie and the comments on his post is proof enough. He took to Twitter to share how he went to the RTO office wearing shorts for which he was harassed by the officer and even denied services.Β Β

β€œI was harassed by a RTO official because I went to the RTO office in shorts. The guy said he wouldn’t see my case because I was wearing shorts. Can’t seem to understand this crass behavior,” he wrote.
    Β© iStock
He said that the RTO officials at Jnanabharathi got irritated and started arguing with him. β€œThey insisted they will not share any details just because I was wearing shorts,” he told TOI.Β Β

There is no written dress code for government offices as such and most of us waltz in banks and officers on a lazy afternoon wearing casual clothes. However, the officials at the RTO got offended on seeing a man in shorts.Β Β
Last I checked, men’s shorts (not boxers, obviously) aren't inappropriate attire and an acceptable clothing item to wear in public.Β Β
    Β© iStock
However, many men in the comment section said the same thing had happened to them at the RTO, passport office and other public service officers where they were shamed and denied service pertaining to their β€œinappropriate” outfit.Β

During passport police verification, constables at Yeshvantpur Police station did not allow me inside because I was wearing shorts. https://t.co/8WXU3pz4wC
β€” Ashwin Deshpande (@trollpwnde) January 18, 2022I remember "travel docs processing dept " of one of the companies that I worked for didn't accept visa document from my colleague because he came to office in chappal to submit document .. It happens..
β€” Ananth Kumar (@anantkkumar) January 18, 2022It’s some archaic rule they follow. Husband also got ticked off by the lady at the entrance β€œilli ella Knicker hakondu barakagalla”. He tried explaining to her that he even goes to office like that. She wasn’t impressed at all.
β€” Loveleen Arun (@LoveleenArun) January 18, 2022My brother's DL test was cancelled because while talking to rto he 2as wearing sunglasses
β€” Nikhil Kulkarni (@nikhilkulkwadhe) January 18, 2022The inspector who was supposed to take my DL test failed me at first because I came dressed in shorts. Couldn't exactly argue, so I remember driving early in the morning to find somewhere I could buy trackpants.
This was at the KR Puram RTO in 2020.
    β€” Rithwik/ (@thel3l) January 19, 2022Same thing happened to me in 2016
    I was in shorts too

β€” Suhas Ravindra (@SuhasRavindra1) January 18, 2022Β Some people argued that since it is a government office, you need to dress in proper attire to show them respect.Β Β
While we agree to it, how fair is it to deny them service or cancel their documents on this basis when there is no such dress code for citizens in writing?Β
    Β© iStock
Yesterday it was a woman’s saree that was being deemed inappropriate in an Indian restaurant, and now, it’s men’s β€˜shorts’ and β€˜chappals’.Β Β

Someone, please create a nationally acceptable dress code for public places so we can dress accordingly!Β

Since we started working from home, it feels like we have been living on a desk or in some cases, our beds.Β
Our day starts with logging in into the laptop, grabbing breakfast and lunch between zoom calls and getting done by dinner time.Β
The hectic schedule and balancing home and work makes us miss working out of the office terribly. However, this is not the case for everyone, it seems.Β Β Β

An IT employee prefers working from home because he is in fact not working at all.Β

He took to RedditΒ to share how he has been spending office hours playing video games and doing whatever he feels like doing for over a year now while his boss has no idea.Β
That’s because his work is being done, not by him but by an automated device that he made!
    Β© iStock
Giving the background and nature of his job, he wrote, β€œI work for a mid-size law firm that hired me as an IT specialist to handle all of their digital evidence for trials…The firm gets thousands of digital documents, photos, etc on a daily basis. All of this goes on a local drive. My job is to transfer all of these files to the Cloud and then verify their fidelity.”

β€œSounds great, but I quickly realized this was the only task they expected me to perform in my 8-hour shift. This was in no way an 8-hour job, so I was stuck pretending to work at the office most of the time,” he added.
    Β© iStock
He said that when the country went into lockdown, he was asked to work from home which gave him the opportunity to automate the entire job. β€œIn about a week I was able to write, debug, and perfect a simple script that performed my entire job…I clock in every day, play video games or do whatever, and at the end of the day I look over the logs to make sure everything ran smoothly... then clock out", he wrote.

    Β© iStock
He has been doing it for a year and earning almost 90k (it isn’t clear if it’s INR or USD but still is a lot) and is just spending 10 minutes on his desk every day while we are working day in and day out for peanuts.Β Β

However, wait. There’s more. He has even planned a masterstroke for when and if his manager figures out and tries to fire him.Β Β
    Β© iStock
β€œI’m doing exactly what they hired me to do, all of the work is done in a timely manner, and I get to enjoy my life. Win-win for everyone involved. Plus, I’ve already decided that if they ever try to get rid of me I’ll just get rid of the script. I’m running it on equipment that I own so if they lose me, they lose the work. Creating my own job security,” he said.

Well, he’s living the dream and we’re amazed at this brilliant jugaad.Β Β

All we can say is β€˜Mast Plan Hai’!

Virat Kohli was often criticised left, right and centreΒ by fans and a few experts despite holding the best record as captain of the Indian men’s team.Β
Kohli led the Indian team in 68 Test matches and managed to win 40 games for the country in the longest format of the game.Β
Kohli has hit 70 centuries across formats in international cricket and yet, he faces the heat from fans when he fails with the bat in one or two games.Β

    β€” Virat Kohli (@imVkohli) January 10, 2022
Former India men’s team’s chief selector Kiran More came to the aid of Kohli and said that the former skipper was treated unfairly. More also mentioned that he is disappointed with the way people threw Kohli under the bus and called out his tactics which were praised when India were doing well.

β€œThe way people have treated him, and I am not talking of the BCCI, and criticised him was not fair. He has played a lot of cricket, he has done well for India. The way he played any form of cricket, he had that quality. He always showed the character that he wanted to win. Let’s not forget he is a World Cup winner (2011). He has got 70 international hundreds and is a special player,” More was quoted as saying by News18.Β
β€œI am disappointed with the way people were talking about him and the way his captaincy was criticised. For me, he is a legend. Performance-wise, we cannot touch him. I am not worried about him stepping down from T20 or ODI captaincy. That is part of life. The way people were criticising him was not good,” he added.Β

β€” Virat Kohli (@imVkohli) January 15, 2022 Kohli had stepped down as the Test captain following the series loss in South Africa earlier this month. His decision shocked manyΒ including his teammate and deputy in Test cricket, Rohit Sharma.Β Β
There have been many names discussed by fans and experts to be Kohli’s successor in red-ball cricket but the Indian board has not said anything on the same.Β
Some, including Gautam Gambhir, want RohitΒ to become the all-format captain while others are vouching for the younger generation to take the leadership role with players like Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah also in the fray to become India’s next Test skipper.Β
The BCCI is yet to name the new Test captain but one thing is certain, it will not be an easy task to fill in Kohli’s shoes, considering the legacy he has left behind him as the captain of the side.
