There is a new twist in the tale of Allu Arjun’s 2020 Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s dubbed Hindi release in theatres.
Ever since the theatrical release of the Allu Arjun starrer was announced, the reports had stated that makers of its Hindi remake Shehzada starring Kartik Aaryan aren’t happy about it and rightly so.
In fact, Paresh Rawal, who plays an important role in the Hindi remake had expressed shock over the theatrical release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in Hindi.
Now, Goldmines, the production house behind the Hindi release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has released a statement announcing the withdrawal of the theatrical release of the Allu Arjun starrer.
The statement reads, "To media & Trade Manish Shah promoter of Goldmines along with the makers of Shehzada have jointly decided to withdraw the theatrical release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi version. Shehzada makers are thankful to Manish Shah for agreeing to the same."
Take a look at it below:

The sudden change in the plan could be because of Allu Arjun's father Allu Aravind who is the producer of the original Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and is also co-producing the Hindi version Shehzada.

Earlier, a report in ETimes had claimed that Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind, the producer of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, arrived in Mumbai to talk to the producer Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms, who owns the rights to the Hindi version of the Telugu film, to stop the theatrical release of AVPL.
A source told the website, “The Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada (with Kriti Sanon opposite him) is the official Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which Allu Aravind is co-producing with Bhushan Kumar and Aman Gill. Allu Aravind would ideally like Shehzada to be the only Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.”

The source further added, “Allu Aravind had arrived in Mumbai yesterday with his team and the meetings with Shah went on for two days. We shall soon know, January 26 is not far away.”
There were also reports that Kartik had met Manish Shah to try and persuade him to not release the Hindi dubbed version of the film.
When asked about it, Shah told ETimes, “Kartik has not met me but they are feeling that the release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will affect the business of Shehzada. So we are now looking at the best way forward to ensure that Shehzada is not affected.”

Earlier, Manish Shah had confirmed that he will release the Hindi dubbed version on January 26 and doesn’t believe it will affect Shehzada.

Pakistan chased down the 152-run target without losing any wickets, handing India one of their biggest defeats in the shortest format of the game.
After losing to Pakistan, India lost their next game to New Zealand and the Men In Blue failed to qualify for the knockout stages of the marquee tournament.

Ahead of the second ODI match between India and South Africa, the official Twitter handle for Cricket South Africa shared a post giving away the details of the contest. However, the picture they shared with the details managed to upset the fans of the Men in Blue and specifically those of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
In the creative shared by CSA, the graphic designer edited the Indian pacer’s picture and made him extremely tiny in comparison to the Protea pacer Marco Jansen, who is already a 6’8’’ tall athlete and makes everyone around him look… minimised.

While some fans saw the funnier side of the post and joked about how even the graphic designer could not show the two cricketers on an equal scale, some of the more “touchy” fans of the Indian swing specialist took exception to the picture and speculated that the CSA designers did this intentionally to make Kumar look inferior in front of Jansen.

During the first match at Boland Park, Kumar ended up being the second-most expensive bowler for Indian skipper KL Rahul giving away 64 runs in 10 overs without taking a single wicket throughout the match and drew a lot of criticism from fans and critics alike.
Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra said rather boldly that the pacer’s “sharpness” has been missing for quite some time now and that his lack of form with the ball has been persistent for 12-15 months making his performance at Paarl very disappointing.

The 31-year-old bowler has also been marred with a series of injuries in the past couple of years because of which he has lost many opportunities to play at the highest level of international cricket consistently.
Lately, the Indian cricket team has been showing a lot of faith in some of their older players who have failed to show consistency for a long a period of time. They did so with Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara in the Test series not too long ago.

Therefore, it would only be fair to Kumar that the team doesn’t make any hasty decisions about his spot in the squad. Having said that, Bhuvi is on the clock and must deliver some big numbers soon.
