Allu Arjun is a superstar unlike any other and is said to have the Midas Touch as everything he touches seems to turn to gold.
However, despite all his fans and people in the film industry knowing just that, the success of his recent film Pushpa has surprised everyone.
The movie starring Allu, who is set to make his Bollywood debut in the near future, and actress Rashmika Mandanna, has been a success story of recent times, with the movie getting a good reception across all parts of India.

Week by week, it has been doing well at the box office, and things can only get better with the sequel of the film, Pushpa 2, as and when it releases.

Well, Manish Shah, of Goldmines Telefilms, who brought the Hindi version of the film to theatres, has given some new details about the film.

While speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Manish revealed how the movie will actually release next year instead of on its previously predicted date of December 2022.

“It’ll probably release in 2023,” he said.
Talking about the production, Manish confirmed that the film will commence in March or April.
“It begins in March or April this year.” he added.
He also revealed details of the shooting of the film.
“The shoot will go on for around 250 days. Part 1’s shoot lasted for 210 days. So, the release of Pushpa 2 – The Rule depends on how fast the filming proceeds and whether or not we face a lockdown or such other impediments.” said Manish.
Talking about the success of Pushpa and the probable success of Pushpa 2, Manish was optimistic that if everything goes well, it might even break the records set by Prabhas' Baahubali 2.

“In my opinion, Pushpa 2 – The Rule is going to be a historic blockbuster. Kitne records todegi, main khud nahi jaanta! Well, there’s a possibility. Baahubali’s first part collected Rs. 120 crores. Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01 will end up with a lifetime of Rs. 93-94 crores. Therefore, the difference is only 30%. 50% zyada mehnat kar di hum sab ne to Pushpa 2 Baahubali 2 ka record tod degi!” said Manish.

Well, going by the success of South Indian films in recent times, we are sure that Pushpa 2 will actually be a huge success just like Allu Arjun's first film.

We are almost nearing the month of February, which can also be referred to as the month of love, mainly because of Valentines' week, which is right at the centre of it.
Well, it looks like love might be in the air in the magical, glamourous land of Bollywood as well.
We say that, as fresh reports suggest that Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan, was recently spotted going on a rumoured date with social media sensation Palak Tiwari, who is the daughter of famous television actress Shweta Tiwari.

Palak, who has been in the news for her superhit Harrdy Sandhu music video 'Bijli', could be seen shying away from cameras while sitting in the backseat of Ibrahim's car that was being driven by a chauffeur.

Both the good-looking stars were seen outside a restaurant on Friday (January 21) evening, with this really being the first time that they were clicked in a picture together.
After probably getting done with dinner, both Palak and Ibrahim were seen leaving the restaurant separately

Later, both were spotted in Ibrahim's car, where while Palak was hiding her face from the paparazzi, Ibrahim could be spotted just laughing it off.

The two had reportedly dined at the Perch Wine and Coffee Bar in Bandra.
Soon after the video of them together hit the internet, people couldn't help but wonder whether they are actually dating. One user said, "I thought they are together and some news is coming".
We have no idea how people knew about this already, but sure.
One user actually found both of them rather adorable together, and commented on Instagram, "Both are cute. They are going to be a crazy couple," she said.
According to reports, another user actually went to the extent of finding something using his or her microscopic powers.
Yep. One of them actually found a supposed 'lovebite' on Ibrahim, before saying, “Hickey, hickey, hickey." While another user commented, “Guys, look at his neck."
Honestly, we couldn't spot it but we'll give them all credit if they found it.
Palak will be seen making her Bollywood debut this year with a horror film called Rosie: The Final Chapter.

Oftentimes it happens that you come across a successful film and wonder why it worked at the box office.
While there could be many reasons behind a film working despite it being badly made, what the success does is give confidence to that filmmaker to go ahead with other such films that shouldn’t have been greenlit in the first place.
In this list, we will take a look at seven such filmmakers who decided to torture us with their films and now shouldn’t be allowed to make another one:
    1. Milap Zaveri  © Milap Zaveri
Milap made a name for himself by being the writer behind films like Kaante, Masti, Housefull and Ek Villain. And then he decided to take the plunge and venture into filmmaking.

His first film as a director was the romantic fantasy-comedy Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai in 2010 starring Riteish Deshmukh and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film was a critical and commercial failure.
He then followed it up one terrible film after the other. His next few films were *** comedy Mastizaade in 2016, Satyameva Jayate in 2018, Marjaavaan in 2019 and one of the worst films of all time, Satyameva Jayate 2 in 2021.

Now, looking at his later films and especially, his latest Satyameva Jayate 2, his debut directorial Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai seems like a masterpiece.

It would be better for our collective sanity that he goes back to writing or shouldn’t attempt another masala action film if he gets to direct again.
    2. Farhad Samji  © Farhad Samji
Along with his brother Sajid, Farhad worked on a lot of films as a dialogue and screenplay writer including All the Best, Golmaal 3, Singham, Bol Bachchan, Chennai Express and Chashme Baddoor.

The brothers then decided to turn directors and made the 2014 film Entertainment followed by Housefull 3 in 2016.
He then split with his brother Sajid and wreaked havoc on the minds of his audience with the web series Baby Come Naa, Boo Sabke Phategi and the worst entry in the Housefull franchise, Housefull 4.

He is now coming with another Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchan Pandey which seems interesting, but looking back at his past directorials, I am very cautious.

    3. Shirish Kunder © Shirish Kunder
Shirish Kunder was a noted editor and worked on films like Aankhen, Main Hoon Na, Socha Na Tha, Waqt: The Race Against Time before turning director with the 2006 film Jaan-E-Mann starring Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta.

Well, props to him for making a unique musical that was ahead of its time. But, what happened post that! He then directed the 2012 disaster Joker. The trauma of watching it in a theatre is still there.
With the rise of OTT, it seemed like we will finally get to see the filmmaker that we once saw in 2006 with Jaan-E-Mann but Mrs Serial Killer, his 2020 film, was simply terrible.

Right from its performances to its execution, Mrs Serial Killer was a sorry excuse for a thriller.

    4. Divya Khosla Kumar © Divya Khosla Kumar
The actress turned filmmaker made her directorial debut with the 2014 film Yaariyan. Despite receiving negative reviews it worked at the box office majorly because of its chartbuster music.

She returned to film direction with the 2016 Sanam Re which was a slight improvement on her debut film but was still a bad film.

Similar to Yaariyan, Sanam Re too featured great music, unlike the 2014 film it wasn’t as lucky at the box office and failed.

It’s been six years, she hasn’t helmed another film and I hope it continues.
    5. Remo D’Souza © Remo D’Souza
Choreographer turned filmmaker Remo D’Souza made his directorial debut with Faltu, a poor remake of an already bad Hollywood film Accepted. He then turned towards dance-based films like ABCD & ABCD 2. Both the films worked at the box office.

He then decided to expand his horizon as a filmmaker and dabbled into the superhero genre with Tiger Shroff starrer A Flying Jatt. The film was released right after Tiger delivered the biggest hit of his career in Baaghi. It was a critical and commercial failure.
Remo then helmed Salman Khan starrer Race 3 and killed the franchise. After two back to back big-budget flops, things were looking good for Remo and he returned to his tried and tested dance-based film with Street Dancer 3D, an unofficial third instalment in the ABCD franchise.

The dance-based film felt like a rehashed ABCD & ABCD 2 with routine performances that we saw earlier in his films. The National Film Award-winning choreographer should probably return to choreography and treat us with some more iconic songs.

    6. Prabhudheva © Prabhudheva
Another choreographer turned filmmaker on the list, the iconic Prabhudheva made his directorial debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan starrer cult hit Wanted, a remake of Mahesh Babu starrer Pokiri.

He then delivered a blockbuster with his second directorial, a remake of Ravi Teja’s Vikramarkudu, titled Rowdy Rathore.
His next two Hindi films were Ramaiya Vastavaiya and R…Rajkumar, both remakes of Telugu films Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and Okkadu, respectively.

And then it all went downhill. Prabhudheva, possibly, holds the record of delivering four back to back duds with three of the biggest superstars of Hindi cinema.

He made the unbearable Action Jackson with Ajay Devgn, Singh is Bliing with Akshay Kumar, killed Dabangg and Wanted franchises starring Salman Khan with Dabangg 3 and Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.
There have been reports that he has decided to not return to directing and I hope these reports are true.
    7. Ram Gopal Varma © Ram Gopal Varma
I really didn’t want to put him on this list but he has left me no choice.

Once considered as one of the greatest filmmakers with iconic films like Shiva, Raat, Rangeela, Daud, Satya, Kaun, Bhoot, Company, Sarkar, Ram Gopal Varma decided to remake Sholay and burnt his hands with Ram Gopal Varma ki Aag.
He then decided to go all out with his imagination and since the 2008 hit Sarkar Raj, has been making one unwatchable film after the other.
In recent times, he has turned to low-budget films which he releases on his own website and somehow, probably makes money.

Now, he is one filmmaker you can’t stop from making films. All I can hope is, we get to see the RGV of the ‘90s and early ‘00s, chances are bleak though.
