Allu Arjun is a superstar unlike any other and is said to have the Midas Touch as everything he touches seems to turn to gold.

However, despite all his fans and people in the film industry knowing just that, the success of his recent film Pushpa has surprised everyone.

The movie starring Allu, who is set to make his Bollywood debut in the near future, and actress Rashmika Mandanna, has been a success story of recent times, with the movie getting a good reception across all parts of India.

Week by week, it has been doing well at the box office, and things can only get better with the sequel of the film, Pushpa 2, as and when it releases.

Well, Manish Shah, of Goldmines Telefilms, who brought the Hindi version of the film to theatres, has given some new details about the film.

While speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Manish revealed how the movie will actually release next year instead of on its previously predicted date of December 2022.

“It’ll probably release in 2023,” he said.

Talking about the production, Manish confirmed that the film will commence in March or April.

“It begins in March or April this year.” he added.

He also revealed details of the shooting of the film.

“The shoot will go on for around 250 days. Part 1’s shoot lasted for 210 days. So, the release of Pushpa 2 – The Rule depends on how fast the filming proceeds and whether or not we face a lockdown or such other impediments.” said Manish.

Talking about the success of Pushpa and the probable success of Pushpa 2, Manish was optimistic that if everything goes well, it might even break the records set by Prabhas' Baahubali 2.

“In my opinion, Pushpa 2 – The Rule is going to be a historic blockbuster. Kitne records todegi, main khud nahi jaanta! Well, there’s a possibility. Baahubali’s first part collected Rs. 120 crores. Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01 will end up with a lifetime of Rs. 93-94 crores. Therefore, the difference is only 30%. 50% zyada mehnat kar di hum sab ne to Pushpa 2 Baahubali 2 ka record tod degi!” said Manish. 

Well, going by the success of South Indian films in recent times, we are sure that Pushpa 2 will actually be a huge success just like Allu Arjun's first film.
