Hrithik Roshan, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2000 blockbuster Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, is one of the hottest superstars in Bollywood. Known for delivering hits like Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, Jodha Akbar, Dhoom 2, War among others, the actor's onscreen chemistry with most of his leading ladies has received a positive response from fans.
View this post on Instagram
From Katrina Kaif to Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik has kissed several actresses on screen. Below, let's take a look at the list of actresses with whom the 'greek god' of Bollywood has locked lips on screen:
Katrina Kaif (ZNMD & Bang Bang)
Hrithik and Katrina have worked together in hits like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) and Bang Bang. While fans loved seeing them together onscreen, the duo also locked lips in both films. In fact, their kissing scene in ZNMD became a problem for director Zoya Akhtar. Reportedly, the kissing scene in the 2011 hit film was actually three-minute-long which left the makers wondering if they should shorten it or not. At last, Zoya decided to cut it down to shorten the film's length.
Aishwarya Rai (Dhoom 2)
Produced by Yash Raj Films, Dhoom 2 witnessed the union of Hrithik and Aishwarya for the first time on screen. For the film, the duo went for a dramatic transformation and their hot avatars got amazing reactions from fans. They shared a sizzling chemistry on screen and even had a steamy kissing scene which turned out as one of the major highlights of the hit movie. Reportedly, the Bachchan family members weren't too happy after seeing their bahu-to-be locking lips in Dhoom 2. Later, Aish too revealed that she wasn't comfortable with the scene.
Barbara Mori (Kites)
Directed by Anurag Basu, Kites starred Hrithik opposite Mexican beauty Barbara Mori with Kangana Ranaut in a small role. In the film, Hrithik had several steamy kisses and intimate scenes with Mori. While the film flopped at the box office, their hot chemistry made headlines and there were rumours of an off-screen romance brewing between them during the shoot despite the actor being married to Sussanne Khan at that time. However, both Hrithik and Barbara refuted the linkup rumours. The film was released in 2010 and is still remembered mainly for the hot scenes.
Kangana Ranaut (Krrish 3)
After sharing screen space in Kites, Hrithik and Kangana reunited for Krrish 3. While Hrithik reprised his superhero role, Kangana portrayed the character of Kaya who could shapeshift into anybody and eventually fell in love with Krrish. While Priyanka Chopra was paired opposite Hrithik in Krrish 3, he also had a kissing scene with Kangana in the hit superhero film. Well, for obvious reasons, Krrish 3 turned out to be the last outing of Hrithik and Kangana together.
Pooja Hegde (Mohenjo Daro)
Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Mohenjo Daro featured Hrithik opposite South star Pooja Hegde who made her Bollywood debut with the period film. Released in 2016, it turned out to be a huge disappointment at the box office, however, fans liked the fresh pairing. As majority of the moviegoers chose to give it a miss, we must tell you that the film also had a hot kissing scene between Hrithik and Pooja.

People often say that Karma…, well, it does get back to you. These words may never be more true for Urfi Javed, Javed Akhtar & the Akhtar family it seems.
© Instagram/urf7i
Right after her stint with Bigg Boss, Urfi Javed saw her popularity soar up at an unbelievable speed. Along with that what also went up exponentially, was the amount of trolling that she had to put up with.
© Instagram/urf7i
To make matters worse, some Bollywood celebrities also chimed in on the trolling. At the height of all this, the Akhtars put out a statement (which, people claim, was rather condescending in tone) claiming that Urfi Javed was not related to the veteran lyricist and his family.
© BCCL
With this started a whole new slew of trolling and memes targeting Urfi Javed. In fact, she has had to go on record a number of times, explaining, or rather debunking the rumour that she is related to the Lyricist or rather anyone in his family.
© Viral Bhayani
Well, to shut everyone up for once, she finally got a custom T-shirt made for herself, that stated the fact, loud & clear.
© Viral Bhayani
Urfi is often trolled for her outfits, and unsurprisingly, is often slut-shamed for them. In fact, she was one of 2021’s most trolled celebrities, and that is saying something.
© Viral Bhayani
What we like about her, and what most people must admire her for, is the sheer will that she has to wear what she wants, and for constantly pushing the boundaries for what is considered “tasteful fashion,” and what is not.
© Viral Bhayani
Coming back to the “statement” piece that she was seen wearing at the Mumbai Airport, well, that is one heck of a way to make a resounding statement and own your trolls, no matter how big or small. Stylistically, it is a great way to dress down casually for the airport.
© Viral Bhayani
We wonder what the Akhtars would have to say on this. More to that, what her trolls would have to say to her. As for Urfi, kudos to her for taking a stand in such a hilarious manner. All we can say is, more power to you…

Ever wondered how many runs a batsman can score off a single legitimate delivery? If your answer is six, New Zealand batter Will Young must be having a laugh at you.
Bangladesh are not considered to be one of the best fielding units among all the Test-playing nations but to produce a silly mistake such as they did against New Zealand in Christchurch, is something you don't see very often on a cricket field.
Meanwhile, across the Tasman Sea...
Chaos in the field for Bangladesh as Will Young scores a seven (yes, you read that correctly!) #NZvBAN | BT Sport 3 HD pic.twitter.com/fvrD1xmNDd
— Cricket on BT Sport (@btsportcricket) January 9, 2022
During the ongoing second Test between New Zealand and Bangladesh at the Hagley Oval, Young had edged a delivery by Ebadot Hossain that was put down at second slip and the ball went racing towards the fine leg region.
Young and Tom Latham ran three but the wicket-keeper threw the ball at the non-striker's end to gift the hosts four bonus runs.
To add to the agony of Hossain, who set up a historic win for the visitors in the first Test, he was the one who had to chase down the ball to the long-off boundary.

The video of the incident went viral on social media and fans wasted little time poking fun at Bangladesh players for their mistake. Some even compared the current Bangladesh unit with Pakistan, who are also known to make such silly errors while fielding.

— Zonayed Ahmed (@zonayedpca) January 9, 2022The comedy of errors resulted in Young not only getting a reprieve but also scoring seven runs off just one single delivery.
He went on to score a half-century while Latham brought up a fine double hundred. Ross Taylor, who is playing his final Test match, scored 28 runs as New Zealand declared their first innings at 521 for six.
Another brilliant day for New Zealand!
Trent Boult's five-wicket haul puts the Black Caps in a comfortable spot at the end of day two.

Even though Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa has grossed over Rs 300 crore and is the highest-grossing film of the year 2021, domestically, the makers had to compensate the distributors for their losses in some territories.
According to a report in Track Tollywood, the original Telugu version of the film has underperformed at the box office with collections seeing a massive drop after a huge opening weekend.
© Mythri Movie Makers
The Hindi dubbed version surpassed everyone’s expectations and has crossed over Rs 80 crore at the box office. Similarly, the film has found success in other dubbed versions as well - Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. However, the distributors in the Andhra Pradesh belt have suffered losses as they bought the film at a huge price.
To compensate the AP distributors for their losses, the report claims that the makers have refunded around Rs 8 crore to regions like UA, East and Guntur.
In the Krishna region, the makers distributed the film themselves and Nellore and Ceded regions’ distributors have recovered around 80 per cent of the investment. Whether the money is required to be refunded for the West Region remains to be decided.
© Mythri Movie Makers
It’s interesting to note that on one hand, the makers had to refund money to some distributors, on the other hand, the film has been on a record-breaking run.
According to Box Office India, Pushpa is only the 7th South Indian film in history to score a double century at the domestic box office.
The list consists of 5 Telugu and 2 Tamil films. Out of the 5 Telugu films, 2 belong to Allu Arjun. His previous release Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo too had collected over Rs 200 crore at the domestic box office.
As for the Hindi version, Pushpa is still going strong at the box office. The film is now expected to hit Rs 90 crore and has an outside chance of hitting Rs 100 crore as well.

Besides Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandana, Pushpa also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu in a special dance number titled Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava.
The Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam version of Pushpa is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The OTT release date of the Hindi version has not been announced yet.

For nearly two decades, Sunil Gavaskar was synonymous with Indian cricket. One of the greatest players to have played the game, the ‘Little Master’ made the Indian masses fall in love with the game.
When Gavaskar stopped playing, he held multiple world records. He was the all-time leading run-scorer in the longest format, with 10,122 runs in 125 Test matches. Back then no other batter had breached the three-figure mark more than Gavaskar, who crossed the milestone 34 times during his glorious career.

Apart from giving us countless memories to cherish, inspiring the next generation of players to play cricket was perhaps the biggest contribution that Gavaskar made to Indian cricket.
From Sachin Tendulkar to Sourav Ganguly to Rahul Dravid, Gavaskar was the reason why most of these cricketers took up the sport. The batting maestro gave the countless budding cricketers a self-belief that they could also play at the highest level and succeed.

Gavaskar’s last international appearance came way back in November 1987 when he featured in an ODI game against England at his home ground in Mumbai.
It is widely believed that the batting legend retired from the game in 1987 but according to Gavaskar that was not the truth.

What if I tell you Gavaskar is still an active cricketer? Yeah I know you guys will say that I have gone completely nuts and am uttering complete nonsense.
But believe me that’s the truth, I am not making this up. The former India skipper, in one of his interviews, had himself made this shocking revelation that he has yet to announce his retirement.
© Twitter BCCI
Speaking on Sports Tak last year, the ‘Little Master’ said that he hadn’t “officially retired” yet and shared an interesting story that gave the people the false impression that he had hung up his boots.
In 1987, Gavaskar was playing a first-class match at the iconic Lord’s and was unbeaten on 80-85 odd runs at stumps. This whole confusion started when he attended the press conference at the end of day’s play.
“No, I didn’t announce my retirement. I was asked by an English reporter in a press conference how important it was to score a century at Lord’s when I was unbeaten around 80-85. I told him that ‘since it was my last match, I would love to score a hundred, the venue didn’t matter at all’,” Gavaskar said in an interview.
“Honestly speaking, it’s 2021 and I haven’t officially announced my retirement yet. I have never given a letter to anyone. You can ask the BCCI whether I had made official retirement in 1987-88."
© Twitter BCCI
“I only told the selection committee that I would be unavailable in the future. But not being available didn't mean I had retired. Till now I have not given my official retirement letter,” he added.

Many of us who weren’t fortunate enough to watch Gavaskar bat live, have grown up fantasising about an alternate universe where we could see the Little Master open the innings with Master Blaster.
Well guess what, if not for this confusion, we could have seen this fantasy turn into reality. What a sight it would have been!

If there is one film in recent times that created quite a stir amongst fans and clearly, was a heartwarming experience for them, it was the 2015 Salman Khan-starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
The film had Salman play the role of a Lord Hanuman devotee, who after finding a young, speech-impaired Pakistani girl, Munni, chooses to do everything in his power to ensure that she is reunited with her family in her home country across the Indian border.

The movie, which was directed by Kabir Khan and also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui, proved to be a massive hit amongst fans and critics, ensuring that Salman's status of being a top actor is crystal clear as ever.
With it almost being 6 and a half years since the release of the movie, Salman took to a press conference to announce that there will be a Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel, with the movie instead of being called 'Pawan Putra Bhaijaan'.
However, now, director Kabir Khan has revealed that despite Salman announcing the film, the team is yet to even lock the script for it.
© Instagram/Kabir Khan
Speaking in an interview with Mid-Day, Kabir said that while the movie is happening, he hasn't even read the script yet.
“Pawan Putra Bhaijaan is what Salman is calling it. It is definitely being written, He mentioned that it is happening because he is excited. I have not read the script, but Vijayendra sir will [always] write something exciting. The idea of [creating] a sequel never excites me. I will never make a sequel to my film only because [the original] was successful. If [I find] a great story, I will be happy to make one.” said Kabir.
The filmmaker also jokingly mentioned how Salman really doesn't follow protocols of announcements.
© Instagram/Salman Khan
“Salman doesn’t follow [protocols] of formal announcements, he talks from his heart,” said Kabir.
Salman, who will next be seen in Tiger 3, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan, and Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, had announced Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 at a promotional event of SS Rajamouli’s RRR last month.
Later, when Kabir was asked about the same, he instead revealed that there had been no script or idea regarding the film.
“That announcement is something that Salman did. Neither the script is written, nor has the idea been formed really. There is literally nothing right now we can talk about.” said Kabir, while speaking to India Today.
Well, let's hope we eventually get to see the movie in the halls!
