    Kapil Sharma might be the biggest and the most successful comedian actor in the country but even his life has endured its own share of hurdles and serious problems. The man has always been vocal about his humble roots and how he came to Mumbai to make money and find success. His relationship with wife Ginni Chatrath was the talk of the town a few years ago when he was rumoured to be dating her. However their relationship was not a bed of roses and in a recent interview, Kapil opened about being sceptical and convincing her why he felt it would not work out between them.

    Speaking to The Man magazine, he said , “ Ginni was in a girls’ college in Jalandhar doing her graduation, 3-4 years my junior, and I was in a co-ed college studying for a PG diploma in commercial arts. For pocket money I would participate in theatre, and visit other colleges. She was a really good student of mine. Now, of course, she’s become my teacher after marriage! She was good at skits and histrionics, so I made her my assistant. Then I found out that madam started liking me, so I explained to her that the car you come in costs more that what my entire family put together is worth! So, it just wouldn’t be possible between us.”  On the professional front, he will soon be seen on Netlflix with I’m Not Done Yet and he continues making his fans laugh on his comedy show.

    Well, life did turn out beautifully for him as he not only found success and love, but managed to make his love story a big success. The couple is happily married with two beautiful children.

    The only movie that the entire country is talking about is Allu Arjun- Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rise. The film was released on OTT two days ago but it continues to draw fans to theatres across the nation.


    While it is being touted as one of the best performances by Allu Arjun,it has undoubtedly given a big jump for Rashmika, who is being praised for her performance. As per various media reports, post the success of the first part, the actress has hiked her fees and demanded a 50% raise in her salary for the sequel. She will be paid around Rs. 3 crores for the next movie. As per another report, Allu Arjun was paid around Rs. 22 crores for the first part and has demanded around 2 crores extra for the next one. Now while the difference between the experiences of both the actors is big, the remuneration gap is also quite big. One can argue that Rashmika is not a very old actor in the industry, but this reminds us of the stark fact that pay disparity amongst actors and actresses continues to exist with a huge margin.

    The second part will go on floors next month and is expected to release around the end of the year. On the professional front, Rashmika might move base to Mumbai for a while since she will be seen in a movie with Sidharth Malhotra soon.

So when the King of Bollywood jokes about being desperate for another king, you know he is underlining that joke with some true sentiments. M S Dhoni or ‘captain cool’ is easily one of the best players in the history of not just Indian cricket, but in the world. The man has successfully led the his IPL team for many years as well. Back in 2017, SRK was super keen on getting his hands on Dhoni for KKR and was eagerly waiting for him to be a part of the auction.

    According to a Times Now report, the only time a team was lucky to lay their hands on him was in 2008 when he joined CSK and they have been retaining him since then. He is obviously also one of the highest paid players in the IPL. In an interview, using his classic humour, SRK joked about how he was willing to sell his pyajamas, if only MS Dhoni was available. “Yaar main toh usko apna pajama bech ke bhi kharid lun, wo aaye toh auction mein”, SRK was quoted as saying by Sportswallah.  Well, we don’t blame for a team owner to want a player like Mahi!

You see, it is necessary at times to have our inhibitions up lest we make a fool or a controversy out of ourselves, as is what happened with Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s former manager, who got drunk and a little too out of control.
    Prakash Jaju, PeeCee’s former and ex manager had worked alongside the actress for many years, especially during the time she had done several movies with actor Akshay Kumar. The two had a sizzling chemistry and delivered quite a few hits at the box office too. However, problems arose when Prakash made some shocking claims about the Sooryavanshi actor.

    Calling Akshay Kumar ‘extremely greedy and selfish’, Prakash Jaju’s astonishing claims were made on the micro-blogging site Twitter. He wrote, “I am 4 peg down, won’t lie.. biggest selfish person I have found in these 35 years of my career is @akshaykumar.. His only motto is to take money.”

    Priyanka Chopra’s ex manager went to the lengths of abusing the actor as he wrote, “@akshaykumar ek ch***ya jaise din bhar paise paise karta rehta hai.. Kya marne ke baad paisa apne saath uper le jaayega? Usko un producers ko help karna chahiye jinhone uske bure time main saath diya tha.”

    It is no surprise that Akshay Kumar has always been very professional about his craft and is one of the highest paid actors in the industry, however, calling him selfish and greedy to the point of cursing him was going a step too far. And Akshay Kumar’s fans came to his defense almost immediately when this had happened. Several people reminded Prakash of the kind of noble donations Akshay Kumar has always made in moments of need.

    Priyanka’s manager’s tweets that were later on deleted, were then followed by pulling Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala into the mud as Prakash claimed, “Sajid Nadiawala is using majid menon to get himself out of this problem of receiving funds from ISI by supplying girls to @naqvimukhtar.. please track this @amitshah @narendramodi @MumbaiPolice.”
