The official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently released a video in which the Indian cricket team could be seen taking their way into an airport, getting on a plane and flying to Cape Town for the third and final match of the series which could decide if the Men in Blue will finally win a red-ball series in South Africa or not.
Such videos created and shared by the Indian cricket board often become a great engagement point for the fans and followers of Indian cricket but this time around, it became a cause of concern as nobody could spot the skipper, Virat Kohli, anywhere in the video.

Ahead of the second Test between India and South Africa at the Wanderers cricket ground, Kohli was sidelined with an upper back spasm and therefore, the responsibilities of leading the side fell on the shoulders of KL Rahul, who did a fairly decent job but the absence of the original captain was felt after India lost the match with one day to spare and the series of tied at 1-1.
However, during the post-match conference, the Indian head coach, Rahul Dravid was able to confirm that Kohli was going to be absolutely fine and fit ahead of the final Test match and will definitely be a part of the Playing XI as the two teams clash to win the series in Cape Town.
    Couldn’t find Kohli in video

    — . (@Viratfc120) January 8, 2022Where Is @imVkohli
    — AGHAV GOKUL (@THEPROFES0R_007) January 8, 2022Since not a single shot of Kohli boarding the plane or arriving at the new hotel could be seen, the fans aren’t convinced about the skipper’s good health and are afraid that the BCCI is keeping crucial information from their followers about Kohli’s timeline to being injury-free. After all, this isn’t the first time during the series that BCCI kept the truth from leaking out in the real world about Kohli’s whereabouts until the very last moment.
Ahead of the second Test, journalists, fans and television viewers were confused and disappointed to see that Kohli had not arrived for the press conference and that Rahul Dravid was left on his own among the media members to answer the questions. When asked why did Kohli not show up, Dravid simply said that the media manager decided who would appear for the interviews and who wouldn’t.
Clearly, that wasn’t the case and the captain didn’t come because of his injury and the BCCI did not know what news to go out until minutes before the second match began in order to avoid further speculations.

Amitabh Bacchan, the veteran actor, has apologized to his followers for distributing a false commercial. The 79-year old, who is also the Legends League Cricket's brand ambassador, appeared in a promotional video for the next competition.
The name ‘Sachin Tendulkar’ was also included in the teaser, as supporters awaited the return of the former Indian batsman, the master blaster. However, Tendulkar's management business, SRT Sports Management Private Limited, later clarified that the batting legend will not be participating in the competition.

The company also warned the organisers not to give incorrect information to Amitabh Bacchan and his admirers. Fans were enraged at the error, and social media was swamped with criticism of the organisers.
Big B was also investigated for disseminating false information. Following Sachin's company's clarifying tweet, Amitabh apologised to the fans and posted the updated commercial, which did not include Tendulkar's name.

“T 4152 – CORRECTION : Legends League Cricket T20 , FINAL promo .. apologies .. and regrets for any inconvenience caused .. the error was inadvertent .. #legendsleaguecricket #bosslogonkagame,” the legendary actor wrote on Twitter.
Tendulkar's business stated that the 48-year-old will not compete in the competition just hours before Bacchan's tweet. In response to Bacchan's inaccurate promotional message, the company said in a tweet: “The news about @sachin_rt ’s participation in ‘Legends League Cricket’ is not true. The organisers should refrain from misleading cricket fans and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. – Official spokesperson, SRT Sports Management Pvt. Ltd.”

As soon as Bachchan Sr. issued the apology, the fans quickly realised that it was an honest mistake and that he had absolutely no intention of spreading false information. Looking at the earnest admission of an online blooper and the honest apology, his followers quickly forgave him and accepted him to be one of their greatest inspirations and an absolute legend of the industry who does not hide behind closed doors after making some errors.
