Aanand L Rai directed Atrangi Re, featuring Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush, and Akshay Kumar in lead roles, premiered on Disney+Hotstar last month and has been receiving a positive response from fans. Upon its release, the film had the biggest opening weekend for the streaming platform. Several members of the film industry too praised the movie's unconventional plot and performances of the lead trio. Vicky Kaushal is the latest name who has joined the list of celebs who have appreciated Atrangi Re.

Taking to social media, the Masaan actor showered praise on the film, its cast, and director Aanand L Rai. Taking to his Instagram story, Vicky shared his thoughts about the film and requested the filmmaker to cast him in his next project. He wrote, "Kitni pyaari Film hai... mazaa aa gaya! @saraalikhan95 such a difficult role to play and how wonderfully you have surrendered yourself to it. He added, "@dhanushkraja absolutely genius. @akshaykumar Garda uda diye".
The actor further added, "@aanandlrai Cast me in your next Film Sir, please!"

Resharing Vicky's Insta story, Rai thanked him and replied, "Thank you mere bhai... Aur tu cast nahi hoga...tu jab bhi hoga kahani hoga (You won’t be cast. Whenever you are there, you will be the story)”.

Sara, who played the role of Rinku in Atrangi Re, too shared Vicky's Insta story to thank him. In her post, she also requested the filmmaker to cast her opposite the Raazi actor, in case they decide to collaborate.

For the unversed, Vicky and Sara are already working together in Laxman Utekar’s next film. Recently, the duo was papped shooting in Indore, Madhya Pradesh for the untitled movie. After this, the actor even landed in legal trouble as a resident of Indore filed a police complaint against him for allegedly using a number plate belonging to his vehicle.
Coming back to Atrangi Re, the film tells the story of Rinku (Sara Ali Khan) and Vishu Dhanush) who got forcefully married to each other. But, after spending time together, they grow fond of each other. However, their life changes after the entry of Rinku's lover Sajjad (Akshay Kumar). While fans have loved Sara and Dhanush's onscreen chemistry, a section of viewers aren't happy with the film for trivialising mental health. According to them, the makers of Atrangi Re failed to do justice to the mental issues that the protagonist Rinku was going through in the movie.

Josh Radnor, who played Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother to Bob’s Future Ted, wrote a beautiful tribute.
He tweeted a thread that read, “Bob Saget was the older wiser ‘me' for nine years on How I Met Your Mother. He was the kindest, loveliest, funniest, most supportive man. The easiest person to be around. A mensch among mensches. I had so much imposter syndrome when HIMYM started, thought I’d be found out, kicked off set & sent home. When I'd run into Bob on the Fox lot in those early days he'd gush over my performance & tell me how he was studying me to make sure his vocal performance felt right.”
He ended his thread with a picture with Bob and wrote, “I’m endlessly grateful that HIMYM brought Bob Saget into my life. I’ll hear his voice in my head for the rest of my days.”

    SPOILER ALERT
Three things in life are certain! Death. Taxes. And more Spider-Man news!
Ever since we heard about Tom Holland's Spider-Man: No Way Home film long back, we'd been hearing of all these rumours of so many superheroes and villains returning in the movie.
    © Marvel Studios
Well, while it was frustrating at times, we sure as hell were very, very excited.

Fortunately for us, the movie eventually did not disappoint, and we actually got to see big stars mark their much-awaited return alongside Tom Holland.
Of course, we are talking about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
Both older Spider-Mans completely shook fans with their appearances after years, and while the movie may have ended with all returning back to their universes, the truth is that it may all have been just a start to something even more exciting.
As you might have seen, the effects of the multiverse will be seen in Doctor Strange In Multiverse Of Madness.
    © Marvel Studios
Well, looks like there is scope for a return to a lot of characters, and one old Spider-Man may just be one of them.

As things go, the actor himself has confirmed it.
It's The Amazing Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield!
    © Sony Pictures
Yep! The actor in a recent interview confirmed that he will definitely return for more movies 'if it feels right'.

“Yes, definitely open to something if it felt right. Peter and Spider-Man, those characters are all about service, to the greater good and the many. He’s a working-class boy from Queens that knows struggle and loss and is deeply empathetic. I would try to borrow Peter Parker’s ethical framework in that, if there was an opportunity to step back in and tell more of that story, I would have to feel very sure and certain in myself.” said Andrew.
If you've been active on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter, Andrew's cameo in No Way Home seems to have done the trick for him, with fans crazily wanting him to return for more movies.
The hashtag #TASM3 (The Amazing Spider-Man 3) has been trending since No Way Home, with fans wanting the cancelled film to now go ahead again.
There have also been rumours of Andrew's character may be making an appearance in end credit scenes of the Morbius movie.
    © Sony Pictures
Then there's always Avengers: Secret Wars that could actually end bringing both Tobey and Andrew's Spider-Mans.

Marvel fans! This is really exciting for sure!

After Team India lost the second Test against South Africa in Johannesburg, wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant received a lot of criticism for the way he threw away his wicket, playing a careless shot.
Following his second innings dismissal, many experts raised questions over his maturity and the understanding of the game. Former greats like Sunil Gavaskar and Gautam Gambhir, without mincing any words, lashed out at the southpaw for letting the team down by going for a glory shot, in order to satisfy his petty ego.
    © Reuters
After the match, even the head coach Rahul Dravid said that he would be having a conversation with the 24-year-old about the timing of his shot selection.

Pant has failed to deliver with the bat in the last couple of series and now his temperament for the longest form of the game has been brought into question by fans and experts alike.
    © Reuters
Amidst all this many believe that given what is at stake going into the third and the final Test match, the team management would not shy away from making some really tough decisions as they can’t let go of this wonderful opportunity to win their maiden red-ball series in South Africa.

There will be a couple of changes in the Playing XI for the Cape Town Test for sure as regular Test skipper Virat Kohli is expected to make a comeback after recovering from back spasm while Mohammed Siraj set to miss out due to hamstring injury.

    — Wriddhiman Saha (@Wriddhipops) January 9, 2022
In addition to that, many supporters also believe that these won’t be the only changes in India’s Playing XI for the series finale. Given Pant’s lacklustre form with the bat in the recent months, the team management might be tempted to bring in more experienced Wriddhiman Saha in his stead.
And these speculations picked up pace, thanks to the social media posts shared by the veteran wicketkeeper-batter. The 37-year-old cricketer from West Bengal put out a tweet where he can be seen practising his batting and keeping skills ahead of the important clash.

    — Sunderdeep - Volklub (@volklub) January 9, 2022With India playing with five specialist bowlers, the role of the wicketkeeper-batter becomes extremely important. Other than being alert behind the stumps, it’s vital that he delivers with the bat as well on a consistent basis which Pant hasn’t been able to do.
At the moment, winning the series is our number one priority, hence one should not be surprised if the team management left Pant on the bench and gave the veteran wicket-keeper a chance to prove himself.

To all those who say Test cricket is dying, the second Sunday of 2022 was nothing short of a nightmare as England managed to dig out the final few overs to salvage a draw at the Sydney Cricket Ground against Australia. The old-school cricket was on display where all the three results were possible even at the last ball of the match.
Australia, having already bagged the five-match series by winning the first three Tests, were within touching distance of another win over England as they needed two wickets with just over nine overs left in the game.

    — Wasim Jaffer (@WasimJaffer14) January 9, 2022
Sensing an opportunity to go 4-0 up in the series, Australia skipper Pat Cummins decided to crowd the batsman with eight close-in fielders - a sight we rarely get to see in modern-day cricket. A picture of the aggressive field placing set by Cummins went viral on social media, generating reactions from all over the world.
While the cricket fans were celebrating the fighting spirit of the two teams, the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) decided to take a subtle dig at former India skipper MS Dhoni.
That moment when a classic move in Test cricket actually reminds you of a T20 master stroke! #Ashes #KKR #AmiKKR #AUSvENG pic.twitter.com/D3XbMu83mf
    — KolkataKnightRiders (@KKRiders) January 9, 2022
KKR took a trip down memory lane and shared a picture from their game against Rising Pune Supergiant from the 2016 IPL. In the photo, Dhoni can be seen facing Piyush Chawla as Gambhir decided to surround one of the most successful wicket-keeper batters with a few close-in fielders. KKR, while sharing the image, called the moment a T20 masterstroke.
The tweet didn't go well with Dhoni fans on social media as they started to hit back at KKR for taking a dig at their hero. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja too joined the banter on Twitter and said the tactic used by the two-time IPL champions was not a masterstroke but a mere "show off".

    — Ravindrasinh jadeja (@imjadeja) January 9, 2022"Its not a master stroke!Just a show off," Jadeja owned the former IPL champs with a savage response.
Jadeja's reply was appreciated much more by the fans than the original tweet that was put out by KKR.

We all have seen the camaraderie between Dhoni and Jadeja and the former has always backed the left-hander. Jadeja's brute response was just another example of how strong a bond he shares with the former India skipper.
