It is a known belief that only a jeweler can recognise and separate a diamond from a sparkling piece of rock. So when the King of Bollywood jokes about being desperate for another king, you know he is underlining that joke with some true sentiments. M S Dhoni or ‘captain cool’ is easily one of the best players in the history of not just Indian cricket, but in the world. The man has successfully led the his IPL team for many years as well. Back in 2017, SRK was super keen on getting his hands on Dhoni for KKR and was eagerly waiting for him to be a part of the auction.

According to a Times Now report, the only time a team was lucky to lay their hands on him was in 2008 when he joined CSK and they have been retaining him since then. He is obviously also one of the highest paid players in the IPL. In an interview, using his classic humour, SRK joked about how he was willing to sell his pyajamas, if only MS Dhoni was available. “Yaar main toh usko apna pajama bech ke bhi kharid lun, wo aaye toh auction mein”, SRK was quoted as saying by Sportswallah.  Well, we don’t blame for a team owner to want a player like Mahi!
