'Pakistan Lite Version' Fans Can't Stop Laughing As BAN Concede 7 Runs Off 1 Ball vs NZ

Ever wondered how many runs a batsman can score off a single legitimate delivery? If your answer is six, New Zealand batter Will Young must be having a laugh at you.

Bangladesh are not considered to be one of the best fielding units among all the Test-playing nations but to produce a silly mistake such as they did against New Zealand in Christchurch, is something you don't see very often on a cricket field.

Meanwhile, across the Tasman Sea...

During the ongoing second Test between New Zealand and Bangladesh at the Hagley Oval, Young had edged a delivery by Ebadot Hossain that was put down at second slip and the ball went racing towards the fine leg region.

Young and Tom Latham ran three but the wicket-keeper threw the ball at the non-striker's end to gift the hosts four bonus runs.

To add to the agony of Hossain, who set up a historic win for the visitors in the first Test, he was the one who had to chase down the ball to the long-off boundary.

He brings up the milestone with an emphatic shot over the head of Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

The video of the incident went viral on social media and fans wasted little time poking fun at Bangladesh players for their mistake. Some even compared the current Bangladesh unit with Pakistan, who are also known to make such silly errors while fielding.

The comedy of errors resulted in Young not only getting a reprieve but also scoring seven runs off just one single delivery.

He went on to score a half-century while Latham brought up a fine double hundred. Ross Taylor, who is playing his final Test match, scored 28 runs as New Zealand declared their first innings at 521 for six.

Another brilliant day for New Zealand!

Trent Boult's five-wicket haul puts the Black Caps in a comfortable spot at the end of day two.
