    Kartik Aaryan has come a long way in his cinematic career. He has made his presence felt with his performances in the recent past. He, just like any other outsider looking for his place in the industry, has followed the conventional path and moved to Mumbai to pursue his dreams of acting. It wasn’t an overnight success as Kartik had to face countless rejections, stay in rented accommodations with other flatmates and the likes during his days of struggle.

Just the day before yesterday, his two female die-hard fans were spotted outside his building screaming his name at the top of their voices. The video of the same has been shared by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani. In the video, they can be heard screaming, “Kartik please come…. please please please.” Sharing the video, Viral wrote, “Two fangirls consistently scream @kartikaaryan's name under his building to catch a glimpse of the actor! #KartikAarayan.”

    Later on, Kartik obliged them and clicked selfies with them. Yesterday night, a male fan reached out to Kartik outside his football playground proving that the actor even has male fan-following. The fan inked himself and in the video, you can see the fan got Kartik’s face tattooed on his chest.

    People are pissed with such attention seeking fans and are bashing him for doing this worthless act. People are also pointing out the fact that the actor didn’t like the tattoo. A few even said that it’s a bad PR strategy and Aaryan shouldn’t indulge in more of such fan activities.

    Talking about his perception of stardom, he told MensXP, “I enjoy doing normal stuff in all those starry moments as well. It’s never really hit my head. For me, it’s a profession. I try to excel in my field, do my job well and that’s exactly how I perceive it.”  

    He also added, “I am in a happy space. It’s been a journey of ups and downs, but I am glad I have seen failures and success at their own time. You know my life is not a flight that suddenly took off, my graph is like a mountain. I want to sustain it for as long as I can so when I look back, I have no regrets. Ever since things have started rolling for me, I am in a very happy space, all that struggle was totally worth it. It makes me proud and humbled at the same time.”
    Kartik is surely winning hearts with his performances and plans to continue entertaining his fans with his acts.

    Shilpa Shetty Kundra has started 2022 on a positive note by visiting Shirdi with her husband Raj Kundra to seek blessings from Sai Baba. Her rakhi brother and former Bigg Boss 15 contestant Rajiv Adatia too accompanied them to the pilgrimage destination. Taking to social media, the Dhadkan actress posted a video from her Shirdi visit in which she's seen offering prayers to Sai Baba with her husband. This is her first post with Kundra since his arrest in a pornography case last year.

    Posting the video on Instagram, she wrote, "'Sabka Maalik Ek' Shraddha aur Saboori. Om Sai Ram". In the video, Shilpa is seen wearing a red outfit and Raj is sporting a kurta.  
    While the majority of Shilpa's fans and followers are showering love on the video, a section of social media users are trolling the couple for different reasons. Some of them are not happy with celebrities getting special treatment at pilgrimages while others are wondering how videography is allowed for them inside the temple.  
    A user wrote, "Only Celebrities he kyun ..Sabhi logon ko aise hi darshan hone chahiye". Another wrote, "They can do videography inside but we can't do...wah. System should be same for everyone". 
    While a section of netizens also took digs at Raj Kundra's arrest. A comment reads, "Raj Kundra is back...sabko link milega". Another Instagram user said, "Jijaji aagaye jail se (with laughing emojis)". "Ab iss Kundra ko Sai Ram yaad aa rahe hain. Ab or kuch kar bhi nhi sakta," wrote another user.

    View this post on InstagramRaj Kundra was arrested in July last year by the Mumbai Police in connection with an adult film racket. After spending around two months in jail, he was granted bail in September by a magistrate court in Mumbai on furnishing a bond of Rs. 50,000. 
    Last month, he opened up about his name being dragged into the controversy for the first time. Slamming all the parties for pushing misleading and "irresponsible statements/articles" against him, he called all of it a "witch hunt". 
    After his arrest, there were several rumours that Shilpa is thinking about parting ways with him, however, those reports turned out to be false. For the unversed, the couple tied the knot in 2009 and are parents to two kids, son Viaan and daughter Samisha.

    India’s young wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant has once again become the talk of the town but not for any good reasons.
    His dismissal in India’s second innings of the Johannesburg Test has created a huge uproar on social media. 
    A vast majority of fans and experts are slamming the youngster for letting the team down by throwing away his wicket, playing a reckless shot.

    It’s not the first time the 24-year-old batter has been accused of not batting according to the match situation and playing into the hands of the opposition. The southpaw had received similar flak many times in the past where questions were raised over his immature and self-damaging batting style.

    After yet another batting failure, former India opener Gautam Gambhir came down hard on the left-handed batter saying that instead of fighting it out in the middle he opted for an easy way out and went for an expansive shot without thinking about the consequences.
    Not just his dismissal, the cricketer-turned-politician was also not particularly happy with his constant chirping from behind the stumps and shared a great piece of advice for the Delhi Capitals captain.

    Speaking on Star Sports at the end of the day’s play, Gambhir said, “The easier thing to do is to keep sledging someone and the toughest thing is what you have to face when you have a bat in your hand. I would have liked Rishabh to probably fight in that situation rather than stepping out and going for a big one.”

    When asked about whether he was disappointed with Pant’s dismissal, he replied: “Disappointment is a very, very understated word to be honest because this is not how you should play Test cricket.”

    “Test cricket is about learning a lot and that's the reason I have said that a lot of young Indian batters can learn a lot from Dean Elgar as well because when you play against world-class bowlers, they are not going to give you easy runs,” he added.

    Pant came in to bat at a crucial juncture in the match on Day 3 of the Test match when hosts were on the ascendency. They had dismissed Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane in quick succession and were looking to restrict the visitors for as cheaply as possible.

    The sensible thing at the moment would have been to just play out some deliveries and see how the surface was behaving. But Pant being Pant, went for a big hoick and ended up losing his wicket for a duck, with his brief stay lasting on three deliveries.

    Some people argue that this is how Pant plays and sometimes, it pays off and sometimes, it doesn’t and we should be too critical of him.

    However, they perhaps don’t realise that in order to succeed at the international level a player needs to make some adjustments to his game and it’s not that Pant doesn't know how to build a patient innings.

    He has shown in the past that he has the ability to grind the bowlers out initially and pounce on them later on when they are out of juice.

    Pant wasn’t the only reason why India couldn’t set up a big target for the Proteas but he did play a massive role in ensuring that the hosts remained in the game.

    Jasprit Bumrah is probably one of the best fast bowlers going around in world cricket but lately, he has shown that he is no mug with the bat as well. 

    Coming in to bat at number 10 or 11, Bumrah has made handy contributions to bail the team out of danger on various occasions.
    On Day 3 of the ongoing second Test between India and South Africa, the 28-year-old was seen having a go at his Mumbai Indians teammate Marco Jansen after copping a blow to his body off a bouncer from the left-arm pacer.

    In the 54th over, Bumrah was looking to play a pull shot but he got hit on his shoulder. The India tailender shrugged it off but Jansen followed it up with another bumper that made Bumrah lose his cool.

    The tension between the duo was such that the on-field umpire had to intervene to separate the duo. 
    As the altercation drew lots of reactions on social media, a Twitter user said that it was Bumrah treating the young South African pacer as a Mumbai Indians intern that made the latter shower a bouncer barrage on Bumrah.
    Bumrah called Jansen up like he would call a Mumbai Indians net bowling intern.

    Bumrah had dished out a similar sort of treatment to legendary England bowler James Anderson a few months back when India were touring England.
    A charged-up Bumrah bowled bouncers at the body of Anderson in a 10-ball over as he overstepped four times, trying to knock over the England lower-order batter.

    Looking at the scenes on Wednesday at the Wanderers, former South Africa pacer Dale Steyn came out in support of his countryman and reminded Bumrah of his fiery battle against Anderson.
    "I swear I remember Bumrah doing the same thing to a Mr James Anderson not too long ago. Learn to take it kid," Steyn tweeted.

    Bumrah will be looking to channel all his anger into his bowling and knock over a few South Africa batters early on Thursday. South Africa finished Day 3 at 118 for two with Dean Elgar and Rassie van der Dussen unbeaten at 46 and 11 respectively.
    South Africa need 122 more runs to level the three-match series while India need eight wickets to register their first-ever Test series win in the Rainbow Nation.

    Rishabh Pant is arguably the most chirpy member of the Indian cricket team who loves to talk on the field, have fun with his teammates, and motivate the bowlers, especially Ravichandran Ashwin, whenever he gets the opportunity.
    In the past, the man has also shown off his bantering skills, like when he got into it with the former Test captain of the Australian cricket team, Tim Paine by calling him “temporary captain” and exchanging a lot of words with the Aussi wicketkeeper in a competitive spirit which both sides appreciated.

    However, during the ongoing Test between India and South Africa, the 24-year old wicket-keeper and batter did not seem to be in a chirpy mood, nor was he willing to exchange any kind of friendly banter with the South African middle-order hitter Rassie van der Dussen.
    It appeared as though van der Dussen had gotten into Pant's ears with his disputed catch the day before, and reminded the India wicketkeeper of it at the conclusion of the 38th over. 
    Pant, on the other hand, seemed unfazed, and the 24-year-old told the Protea that "if you have half-knowledge, then keep your mouth shut."

    The exchange was followed by a nasty bouncer by the devastating pacer Kagiso Rabata that stunned the Indian south-paw as the ball bumped off his gloves and was almost ready to be caught by the fielder standing at slip.
    Now frustrated by all the talking and shook up by the bouncer, Pant wanted to shake everything off and release the accumulated pressure by swinging for the big shot on the following delivery. However, the ball brushed past the bat as Pant swung for the fences and went straight into the hands of the opposing skipper Kyle Verreynne.

    It was clear as day that Pant had given into van der Dussen’s tactics and had lost his wicket by getting riled up. After three balls, he got out and had to walk back to the dressing room while putting absolutely no runs on the board for the Men in Blue.
    With the second Test of the series still two days away from getting concluded, South Africa are at 118/2 and need just 122 runs to win the clash at the Wanderers cricket ground and level up the series at 1-1 before heading to Cape Town for the series-deciding match.
